DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel South Bend, South Bend1 / 35
South Bend, 123 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd 🧭 Map
Stayed here for two weeks for work. It's an ok place if you're just looking to flop for the night. It's downtown and there's plenty of food within walking distance that is great. That said, it's noisy at all hours because of the main road. The hotel is just old and not particularly comfortable for any kind of extended stay. The shower screams whenever it finally gets to a tolerable temperature, otherwise...
The pictures make it look a lot nicer than it is. The hotel is very old and a little wore out. Not a second stay type of place. The rooms felt dirty cause of the walls and carpet. The staff was great. The food was good for breakfast. The location is great for the town. I would recommend somewhere a little newer
Would have been nice for the parking garage to be validated by the hotel and rolled into the cost of stay. Decently clean lobby area. Room was comfortable and clean. Unusual to see into office buildings across the atrium and felt a little less private, but enjoyed the different setting. Had food delivered to the front desk without issue.
My daughter is the one that actually booked this hotel We were there for a cheer competition. I was not too impressed with elevators not working asking for room service to come check out the heat in our room and they never showed up. I know it's a small thing but I would like to have a microwave at least in our room it did have a small refrigerator which I thoroughly appreciated. You could tell that...
I'd give it more stars if I could. From the moment I entered, I was greeted by Mary with a huge smile. She was epitome of perfect customer service. Kudos to her for bringing a smile to my tired face. The room was clean and the bed exceptionally comfortable and the price very reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel.
Nice place. Bed was comfortable. Wished the was a microwave in the room. Toilet and tub area is small. Would have been a 5 if breakfast buffet was better. Nice that it has a parking garage.

A great place to stay in South Bend! It books up pretty fast for football weekends, but it's pretty quiet the rest of the year. It's in a great location, the rooms are nice, and the breakfast is good. The water is a little hard, but I think that's the case for most places in town.
Flight Crew Loves this stay!! Keep up the phenomenal services, you provide. Rooms are impeccably pristine and accommodating. Microwaves and Mini Refrigerators, oh my!! Tantalizing breakfast fare each morning, for early riser's. Thank-you so so much for allowing a restful, safe, clean and friendly stay. Especially so near a college campus?
Hotel was nice, gym was okay, the facilities are a 4 but the people make this inn a 5 in my book. Shouts out to Tiana for being such a vibe a managing to juggle conversations and orders for like 30 people at the bar at the same time. Genuinely impressive.
teanna was a brilliant bartender. she remembered my name after the first time and even remembered my drink after only two orders. for working during the early week she carried great energy and was always cheerful. she was willing to try out new drinks i suggested and nailed it each time. honestly made me fall in love with south bend and gave me great recs for local restaurants! truly a treasure to...
Nice inn to stay at if traveling. They have a bar that's open till 11 pm ( really friendly bar tender) and a complimentary breakfast, the food was better than other places I've stayed at. We payed $103 a night for a room with 2 queens, nice staff and beautiful lounge area. Only complaint is that our room was a bit humid, but that could've been a problem with our ac unit
We scored a beautiful suite for a very reasonable price and were very pleased. Comfy bed, nice breakfast, close to highway, but still quiet for sleeping.

The continental breakfast offered a nice variety of food, and the staff did a great job of keeping it stocked. I also appreciated how the food and tables were arranged/set up because it was extremely efficient.
Everything it’s ok , except the only thing its(weird)THE PARKING LOT have a cost ($11) for night (no include in your night in the hotel) , nobody told me when I did the reservation or my check in ,so be aware or look for the park lot it’s in front to those hotels.
I. Absolutely in love with Susan she is a pleasure to see every month. Its like a welcome home everytime. I come monthly for the ND EMBA program and enjoy my stay every time.
I stayed in a suite at this location and it was nice and spacious. Crisp linens, soft bed, and clean rooms. Ample parking and within walking distance to food, shops, and Notre Dame University. Housekeeping was on point & timely. Breakfast options are available but nothing hot was served (all convenience foods) kinda lacking in this area. Fitness room & pool were all great. I had to use the business...
Breakfast buffet is decent, includes scrambled eggs, little egg and cheese omelets, (salsa and cheese available on the side); sausages or bacon, bagels, toast, muffins, cut fruits and whole fruits...
Stayed here while passing through. Waited for a while before someone came out to the desk during check in. Bathroom was dirty (the walls needed to be wiped down) and there was a lot of scale build up on the shower head. Breakfast was decent. Felt it was a bit overpriced for the condition/quality compared to other Marriott hotels I’ve stayed at.

We enjoyed it. It's nice and cozy for being along 933, they offer things like coffee all day long and even had an extra blanket for the hide away couch. Over all you can't go wrong. My daughter celebrated her 11th birthday there and they accomidated us well.
We had a nice suite with bedroom, living room and a small kitchenette. The room was comfortable with plenty of space. However, it is dated with repairs and upgrades needed. We were disappointed the pool was closed for maintenance. No hot tub. Guest laundry with one washer and dryer. Good lighting and outlet placement. Breakfast on the lower end of Hampton Inn. The hotel has treats out throughout...
Phenomenal Hampton Inn even by their usually good standards. Newer and very well kept. We arrived at almost 2am after a long day of driving and the front desk lady was incredibly sweet and had a pack and play out and ready for our daughter to make the process quick and painless. Friendly service and good upkeep makes for an easy recommendation!
The room was comfortable and spacious. There were plenty of power outlets including a USB hub for cellphones. The best part of the stay was the breakfast and coffee. That part may be biased because I love breakfast. The fireplace in the lobby made for a comfortable morning. The desk staff was polite and helpful.
The hotel was clean and affordable and located close to the highway the help was friendly and helpful
Overall, this is an excellent hotel when you can get the rooms at a reasonable price. Clean, comfortable, great breakfast, and even a pool! My only complaint is about the design/layout of the building itself. Honestly, what were they thinking when they placed the elevators at one end of the building, instead of centrally located? It's a crazy long walk (for being such a small hotel) if you get stuck...

I like the location. Off busy roads. Surrounded by trees. Near a good Mexican restaurant and a Whole Foods. Traveled in area from South Bend to Shipshewana. Came back each night. The rooms are nice with a good sitting area and room to stretch comfortable beds, but a problem with our air unit necessitated a room change. However, the staff here is SO kind and helpful and will do anything they can to...
We rented space for our wedding reception and we were more than happy with the service! The staff was accommodating and available to answer all of our questions. The space was clean and we couldn't have asked for a better experience there.
They need to do a better job of cleaning the room before new guests arrive. We found a clump of hair in the shower and there was hair on the carpet that was sticking to my feet. I felt like the room was small for the price. There was only one sink in the room and it was the bathroom sink. I brought my own body wash from home so it wasn't an issue, but the refillable body wash bottle in the shower...
Thoroughly enjoyed a much needed comfortable stay - swam in the small pool, did laundry, enjoyed the breakfast, the comfortable mattress, and excellent pillows. The cleanliness of the room was immaculate, the stained carpet in the halls was the only thing that could be improved.
Friendly staff. I checked in early and still able to get room. Hotel location is close to all restaurants. Bathroom needs some work. Breakfast is good. Fitness area and pool are well maintained. Overall great value for money. Recommend.😊
Highly recommend this Hyatt! Allie and the entire staff were so accommodating. We booked 40+ rooms for our son's wedding and we had lots of needs/requests that were all handled with such care. The rooms were perfect as well with the extra sitting area. So happy we stayed there.
