Stayed here for two weeks for work. It's an ok place if you're just looking to flop for the night. It's downtown and there's plenty of food within walking distance that is great. That said, it's noisy at all hours because of the main road. The hotel is just old and not particularly comfortable for any kind of extended stay. The shower screams whenever it finally gets to a tolerable temperature, otherwise...

The pictures make it look a lot nicer than it is. The hotel is very old and a little wore out. Not a second stay type of place. The rooms felt dirty cause of the walls and carpet. Would have been nice for the parking garage to be validated by the hotel and rolled into the cost of stay. Decently clean lobby area. Room was comfortable and clean. I'd give it more stars if I could. From the moment I entered, I was greeted by Mary with a huge smile. She was epitome of perfect customer service. Kudos to her for bringing a smile to my tired face. Located on Notre Dame campus (5 star). The restaurant in the lobby is fantastic (5 star). Check in and satisfaction with my room 3 star. I love staying at historic hotels and the 3 star is just my experiential comparison to my recent stays at the Davenport and Seelbach

The service was top notch! Room was nice for my 2-night stay. The café had an award winning cupcake that was so decadent! Red velvet with cookie butter buttercream.

Very nice hotel in the heart of the Notre Dame campus. The restaurant in the hotel has exceptionally good food. The chicken I had was perfectly seasoned, moist, and flavorful.

Fantastic location right on campus. Spacious rooms, but the bathroom could have been cleaner (the beginnings of red mold on the grout in the shower). The restaurant was first class, my niece raved about her pork.

This is a great hotel in the center of the Notre Dame campus. It was built only a few years ago, and has great meeting spaces and exceptional staff.

A great place to stay in South Bend! It books up pretty fast for football weekends, but it's pretty quiet the rest of the year. It's in a great location, the rooms are nice, and the breakfast is good. The water is a little hard, but I think that's the case for most places in town.

Nice inn to stay at if traveling. They have a bar that's open till 11 pm ( really friendly bar tender) and a complimentary breakfast, the food was better than other places I've stayed at. We payed $103 a night for a room with 2 queens, nice staff and beautiful lounge area. Only complaint is that our room was a bit humid, but that could've been a problem with our ac unit

We scored a beautiful suite for a very reasonable price and were very pleased. Comfy bed, nice breakfast, close to highway, but still quiet for sleeping.

The continental breakfast offered a nice variety of food, and the staff did a great job of keeping it stocked. I also appreciated how the food and tables were arranged/set up because it was extremely efficient.

Everything it’s ok , except the only thing its(weird)THE PARKING LOT have a cost ($11) for night (no include in your night in the hotel) , nobody told me when I did the reservation or my check in ,so be aware or look for the park lot it’s in front to those hotels.

Stayed here while passing through. Waited for a while before someone came out to the desk during check in. Bathroom was dirty (the walls needed to be wiped down) and there was a lot of scale build up on the shower head. Breakfast was decent. Felt it was a bit overpriced for the condition/quality compared to other Marriott hotels I’ve stayed at.

We enjoyed it. It's nice and cozy for being along 933, they offer things like coffee all day long and even had an extra blanket for the hide away couch. Over all you can't go wrong. My daughter celebrated her 11th birthday there and they accomidated us well.

Phenomenal Hampton Inn even by their usually good standards. Newer and very well kept. We arrived at almost 2am after a long day of driving and the front desk lady was incredibly sweet and had a pack and play out and ready for our daughter to make the process quick and painless. Friendly service and good upkeep makes for an easy recommendation!

The room was comfortable and spacious. There were plenty of power outlets including a USB hub for cellphones. The best part of the stay was the breakfast and coffee. That part may be biased because I love breakfast. The fireplace in the lobby made for a comfortable morning. The desk staff was polite and helpful.

Overall, this is an excellent hotel when you can get the rooms at a reasonable price. Clean, comfortable, great breakfast, and even a pool! My only complaint is about the design/layout of the building itself. Honestly, what were they thinking when they placed the elevators at one end of the building, instead of centrally located? We stayed here as part of our visit to South Bend to take in a Notre Dame game. The staff were great, breakfast was good, and a shuttle is available to get to the game. We stayed in a premium room that was spacious and clean. Gym was clean and functional. Would recommend staying here.

We rented space for our wedding reception and we were more than happy with the service! The staff was accommodating and available to answer all of our questions. The space was clean and we couldn't have asked for a better experience there.

They need to do a better job of cleaning the room before new guests arrive. We found a clump of hair in the shower and there was hair on the carpet that was sticking to my feet. I felt like the room was small for the price. There was only one sink in the room and it was the bathroom sink. I brought my own body wash from home so it wasn't an issue, but the refillable body wash bottle in the shower...

Thoroughly enjoyed a much needed comfortable stay - swam in the small pool, did laundry, enjoyed the breakfast, the comfortable mattress, and excellent pillows. The cleanliness of the room was immaculate, the stained carpet in the halls was the only thing that could be improved.

Highly recommend this Hyatt! Allie and the entire staff were so accommodating. We booked 40+ rooms for our son's wedding and we had lots of needs/requests that were all handled with such care. The rooms were perfect as well with the extra sitting area. So happy we stayed there.

You can here the bathtub drain gurgle when you flush the toilet. The room is too dim, needs better lighting. The freezer needed defrosted.

Not our best stay at a Residence Inn. Front desk staff are not friendly. Housekeeping staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast was one of the worst I have ever seen. The rules of the place are not enforced and I had to walk through smokers every day. Dogs barking all day one day and the parking lot was never cleaned of snow. They just waited for it to melt.

I went to visit my ex boyfriend here. Nice room. Haven't laid in a bed since my ex boyfriend kicked me out of his house 4 months ago. Was nice having that amazing shower. I miss running water. This property is absolutely beautiful and is located so conveniently to downtown. My whole wedding party and out of town guests stayed here with ease. For those traveling for work or RV campers, this apartment style hotel is perfect, too. Everything you need, and professionally run. Fair pricing, too.

I was here just for 2 hours visiting family members from out of town. I swam in the indoor pool, which was nice enough but nothing special. The one suite I saw and took a shower in was clean and modern. My family members staying there had no complaints.

Excellent location (not too far from the Amtrak station). The food was wonderful and service great. Our room was very nice and most importantly…..it was quiet. The place was pretty much full but there were no issues with noise.

Friendly, helpful staff. I attended two professional dinner meetings, both of which were well-managed by capable staff. The food was good. The atmosphere was as pleasant as any hotel banquet/conference room.

Super kind staff, very spacious room, breakfast bags with options was nice too. I needed to clean crumbs off kitchen counter which prompted wiping streaks of something off wall, cupboard door and stovetop too. Carpet definitely needs cleaning too. Deep cleaning would make this a nice place!

I would have rated this place 3 stars, but the price was fantastic. Our room was not great. Rather dated. Our view was an old satellite dish and a transformer through a broken window. For someone just crashing for the night, this place does the job.

First of all I want to recognize a great worker. Rachel at the front desk went above and beyond with service. During the stay we needed some assistance and she was resourceful in her way to get it done. Also her personality was great and extremely friendly. The hotel itself was easy to get to, clean and comfortable.

I have been in town quite a bit for work and have been consistently staying at this hotel and plan to continue doing so in the future! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, especially Layne at the front desk. He has such a positive attitude & is so accommodating. Could not recommend more!

Newly opened under new ownership, Hilton. Very nice and clean. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. The only complaint we had was they didn’t have enough coffee made for breakfast during our recent stay (game day weekend) but the wait wasn’t too bad for a fresh pot to come out each morning.

Not bad for an overnight. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The "non smoking room" smelled strongly of smoke. The room was clean as long as you didn't look to closely.

This is a new hotel with a modern decor. Breakfast was very food and the room was spotless. The only glitch was their system checked me out after my 1st night and had to get new keys the next day.

friendly evening staff helped us check in. we had five kids and two adults for five rooms. The rooms were large and comfortable with a couch and microwave and fridge which made things easier.
