St. George, 1660 South Convention Center Drive 🧭 Map
The convenience of this hotel right off the freeway was a plus and a great place to launch our visit to Zion National Park after a pleasant night’s sleep. Dog friendly as well for a nominal fee which was helpful.
Great affordable room on our way to Yellowstone. Right off the freeway. Great staff, nice breakfast, workout room and pool. Cracker Barrel right next door.
Nice rooms, bed & pillows comfortable. Carpet throughout nice. Nice gym and decent breakfast bar. 3rd floor was quiet, but the wing we were in you could hear the hwy noise. View was nice, easy location access.
First of all, the lady working the front desk last night was a rock star. She was so busy and we dumped an entire water bottle on the bed and needed all new bedding. She got it to us within minutes. The room was bit worn but the shower head was great and super hot water (the shower curtain had the sour smell but most hotel shower curtains do). Breakfast was outstanding. Great crustless quiche and waffles...
I really enjoy my stay here each time. The front desk is always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good quality and alway warm. The rooms are clean and updated as well as the rest of the hotel. The gym is nice for a hotel gym. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because the sheets and pillow cases have to be the most scratchy burlap-like starched sheets I have ever experienced, terrible...
It was clean, the bed was firm, the staff was helpful and the breakfast was well kept. Ask for an East side facing room. It's close to the highway on the west side, so west side rooms hear traffic all night.

Best Western Plus Abbey Inn

Excellent hotel will recommend it to anybody
Breakfast options very good
Spacious clean rooms
Loved the laundry & definately the pool area
I'm actually backtracking here to write this review after a stay in Vegas that was mediocre compared to Abbey Inn.
Rooms are nice , the Abbey had a great pool area and even a crane to get handicap people into the pool.
The included breakfast buffet was fabulous and they will do made to order omelettes and eggs etc.
Staff is very nice and my stay was pleasant. I would 💯 stay here again, no need to look...
This is a really nice property. All the staff I interacted with was great. The rooms are updated and clean. The pool area is all outdoors. The gym is pretty small and felt a little rundown and dirty the highlight was finding a Peloton. Everything was great and went smooth.
I can not say enough good things about this property. It is beautiful and well maintained. The staff are excellent, and the amenities are wonderful. The decor is tastefully done and updated. Our room was a family suite and was very spacious. We participated in the Unwind hour, and it was very well executed. Delicious little snacks, drinks, and welcoming. Just a little something to help settle...
The check in couldn't have been easier. Jenna & Garret were very helpful & welcoming & greeted us with smiles. Jenna went over and beyond to accommodate me by honoring my special request as well. This us my second time staying here within two months for conventions. The staff is always friendly, breakfast is very good and the location is superb. We always tip the housekeeping staff because they do...
I stayed here for a single night as part of a multi-day car trip. The hotel is situated right off the freeway and within walking distance of numerous restaurants. A gas station is right across the street.
The staff welcomed me graciously, explained the services offered and got me through the check-in process quickly.
My room was large and well appointed. I did not ask for an accessible room, so I...

Good breakfast with a team of friendly ladies keeping the space impacable.
Confortable hotel, very close to the highway and with many restaurant options. A good option if you are on your way to the north of Utah.
A clean and comfortable hotel with an excellent location. I have stayed here dozens of times! But don't let them put you in room #119 - it is the noisiest room in the hotel! I listened to the loud elevator motor all night long and didn't sleep a wink!
What an awesome town St. George is! Donna, the late night front desk person, had such patience with me, I was so grateful, and Tina, in the morning, was so accommodating. Then housekeeping was right there with a helping hand! They all were. It was like the motto on the carpet, and I just wanted them to know how happy they made me, because it seemed to make them happy, and we were all happy happy folks...
Convenient location comfortable, clean rooms, nice pool/hot tub and laundry facilities on site. We really enjoyed the full breakfast. The staff was super nice and helpful. They gave us a better room price in person then what was offered on the booking websites.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR CLEANING/REPLACING YOUR AIR FILTERS! I have a very sensitive respiratory system so to avoid literal sinus infections I have to wear masks in hotels that use those under window aircon/heating units because nobody ever cleans them. This location does, so I was able to hang out in the room without a mask for the first time since I was a child.
Great stay! Driving through only stayed one night but staff were timely, professional and valued me as a customer! The room is very clean, sheets, towels, bathroom cleanliness pristine! The only thing I noticed was that the room had dust on some furniture. Though that’s a ver minute detail! Cute little travel vanity set as well. I recommend staying here if you’re in St.George! ☺️ Thank you to the staff...

Make sure to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any resort. They compare countless booking web sites and typically will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! The receptionist was very pleasant, the lobby, lounge, and dining area were clean. The room was clean and did not have any strong odors in it. The pool and hot tub are very nice, I left before they served breakfast but I could smell the bacon cooking. Overall it was a great experience. I would stay here again.
Great place for a stop in Utah. Rooms were clean and the tower section was quiet. Bathroom could use upgrading. Front desk was kind and check in was a breeze. Lots of parking. Breakfast was ... not great. But when is a hotel breakfast ever great? There are a lot of places to eat and drink in this area close to the hotel. Overall, I would stay here again when driving through!
Basic hotel, nice and clean and a short stay. Rooms are dated but great value for the price. Convenient location right off the highway but very quiet. I would recommend skipping the free breakfast but overall I would stay again if I was passing through Southern Utah or visiting the national parks.
A fair price but a small room with the addition of the cot bed. Cot bed mattress a bit thin and extra blankets were needed for comfort not heat. Doors and carpets showing their age. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Free breakfast did the job but nothing to recommend it. Great location for Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks.
Very impressed! Chose this hotel as a last minute/ last resort option, arriving a little past midnight I thought it was going to cost an arm and a leg but it was actually very affordable. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and very quick, we had our room key in less than 5 minutes. The rooms were clean and spacious, the whole hotel looked nice and clean! The pool was beautiful and the...
It was a little older and not as clean as it could've been. Otherwise it was just fine. Probably needs an update but it did the job. Not the worst place to stay. I'd stay there again because it was a good deal but don't prepare to write home about it.

The tidiness and beauty of your garden upon driving into the parking lot set the stage for us. The entrances into the lobby was welcoming and the staff attentive. Our room with two queen beds was spacious and clean.
Is was very nice! The front desk staff were very nice! Especially the new lady, I don’t remember her name. It started with a T. And the other one something Jazz-? Very helpful and friendly. Very clean! I too am a housekeeper for a Springhill Suites by Marriott in Montana. I want to thank all the unnoticed housekeepers. They are Awesome!
Great we stayed there two nights with the twin toddlers. The staff came up with two baby beds which was awesome. We slept great and pool was great on such a hot day.
I stayed on the 3rd floor. It was nice place great room, comfortable bed pillows ect. However the 4th floor was loud and could hear everyone walking. Other than that everything was great. Super clean and very relaxing.
I've stayed at this hotel a few different times and like the place each time. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the staff has always been kind. It's pretty easy to locate as well. The only complaint I have is it doesn't have continental breakfast. Great hotel!
We love the Courtyard Marriott St. George. It is beautiful property and seems to stay updated. However, with our recent stay the pool and hot tub were closed without notice. This was a little frustrating as spending time in the hot tub was part of a planned rehab. Also, we had reserved a room with a king bed and up arrival learned that we had been placed in a room with 2 queens. All of their rooms...

We had a good experience at this hotel. The room was immaculate. The rooms are equipped with an iron, hair dryer, coffee maker, tv, wifi, toiletries, and mini fridge. Breakfast was included as well, along with a complementary newspaper. Parking is free and convenient. Highly recommend.
Clean inexpensive room. The front desk was quick to get us checked in and going, but not very friendly. Not bad, just to the point and not talkative at all. This place was completely dead with only one other car in the parking lot. The room is fairly small with a very old, but functional air conditioner. Looked like something out of the 80s. The shower and bathroom we're only slightly larger...
Hotel is conveniently located near DSU and tons of restaurants. Hotel staff is great and the rooms were nice. 2 hot tubs and a fun pool.
I've stayed here for a total of six nights on two separate trips to St. George, and I've found it to be quite satisfactory on both occasions. Clean, well-appointed rooms at reasonable rates and friendly, helpful staff. I left my phone charger in my room when I checked out after the second stay, and they mailed it to my home address without even being asked to do so. The only reason I'm not giving it...
I was making a quick last min trip and didn't book a hotel. I stopped first at another hotel and was given an occupied room (scary). I left that hotel and went to the ambassador inn, the check in was pleasant, my room was clean, the bed was cozy!! Clarion Suites St George - Convention Center Area
St. George, 1239 South Main Street 🧭 Map
The room was incredibly pleasant, quiet, and the spa bath was amazing for relaxing and unwinding after walking through Zion National Park. Denny’s and Black Bear Diner being in the exact same plaza made breakfast options convenient and easy to get to. Clarion is not the only option in the nearby area, but it may be the best one because of the heightened quality coupled with respectful and helpful workers
The ground were nice. The rooms were clean. They have heated pool and jacuzzi. Gets a 3 star because the beds were terrible. If you like a firm mattress you might disagree. The location is convenient for food. It is kind of close to the freeway so if you're a light sleeper bring ear plugs.
A nice facility is mid range. The pet room was in the back, facing the interstate but it's built well so it was quiet. The gym has several running machines and weights but lacks machines for toning. Breakfast was ok, the front desk was courteous with moderate fast check-in. Black bear diner is very close for good meals. Easy access to the interstate. I'd stage my trip to nearby national parks from...
The first room we got had a strong cleaning smell so we got another room. The room was nice and clean. The bed and pillows were the best. They were soft and firm enough at the same. It made for a great night sleep. The area has plenty of restaurants, which is good if you're looking for a quick bite. They also offer free breakfast and I have to say that it is great.
Check in was quick and easy. The room was immaculately clean (BIG deal to me), beds were comfy and very nice linens. We could not hear anyone in rooms on either side and slept great! Thank you Clarion crew and mngmt. We APPRECIATE YOU! 💞
You get what you pay for here. We have stayed here several times. We know we are reserving a 2 star accommodation, so we do not go in expecting a 3 star. The front desk is always friendly. I would classify the accommodations, bedding and rooms as the higher end of 2 star places, but not 3 star or above uh&. The breakfast is always good, with several hot options. We have never been disappointed here...

The place would be great if they actually cleaned the room. We had one lady who did a fantastic job 1 day. We stayed the Weekend of August 19th for my Husband's Birthday in the Honeymoon Suite. I told the front desk when I booked the reservation the it was my husband's Birthday and asked if they could do something special. The rooms were clean, they welcomed our pup, and are very family friendly! My kids loved both pools! Breakfast was great for a hotel breakfast. We will definitely be staying here again on our next stop!
Excellent stay. For the price, this hotel is a great value. Yes, it is semi-dated, but in all other regards, they execute well. We found our room (and the entire hotel) to be clean, they have good pools, the breakfast was vast and generous and it is in a great location. Great shower. LOTS of space.
The comp breakfast was the best we've ever had, they had just about every option you could want, hot food too.
Staff were very nice as well.

Nice size room with queen beds & a sitting area with comfy couch. Comfy in that the couch was firm and not one of the cushy sink into couches. Bathroom was great too. Love that they had dispensers in shower with shampoo, conditioner, & body wash. Room was clean and had a refrigerator. They offer a free breakfast buffet.

We stayed here for the weekend to watch two shows at Tuacahn. The room was large and comfortable for five family members. Mattresses comfy and great water pressure in the showers.

The Desert Garden Inn was a good place to stay with a nice homely feel about it. My room was spacious and fairly well appointed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is good, not too far out of the centre of St George, with good access to nearby walking/running/riding tracks. The pool was nice, but was not heated and a bit nippy on cooler days.
Older facility accepting pets but offering none pet rooms. Good bed, conveniently located with average pricing. Great pool and restaurant within. Free breakfast. Company needs to spend a bit on carpet cleaning but still a good stop.
The hotel is not right at a freeway ramp, but worth driving to. Although an older hotel, it was clean and comfortable with a certain charm. The courtyard garden was beautiful. We had a doorknob on our bathroom that didn't lock. We called the front desk and within a couple minutes we had a working lock! The service here came fast and it was great. The breakfasts are also good quality, and the pool is a nice size. It isn't the fanciest place in the world, but for visiting St. George for a weekend, it worked fantastically.

It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was very small and the door hit the toilet while closing. We wanted to stay here for the pool and jacuzzi. We called before we left in the morning to make sure it was open and we were told it was. It wasn’t. We got the room with a jetted tub. Which we enjoyed. Free breakfast. HIGHLY RECOMMEND RED LION HOTEL in St. George , Utah.
( 4.5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️* )
One of the cheapest yet fairly nice hotels left in St. George. The rooms definitely need REMODELING (1990’s look), but the property is AMAZING…. The hotel has an indoor & outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, outdoor miniature golf ⛳️ basketball 🏀 and pickle ball courts.
It’s a great hotel to stay at for baseball ⚾️ tournaments...
I read plenty of reviews about this Red Lion Hotel and would have to agree with many of them. The place has a good front desk but time is taking its toll on it and I feel like a lot of money would have to go into it to get it up to par and to update it. It is a very unique setup with a mini massage room, indoor and outdoor pool, and a very well rated restaurant. The rooms just need a lot of work. Our...
Definitely not a High end Hotel. But not a cheap Motel either. I believe it is worth the value you pay. Not over priced and very Kid Friendly. I would highly recommend to any family traveling.
Very clean and we stayed in two of the pet rooms. Historically hotels that allow pets are not as nice. Red Lion understands puppy babies and the room was super clean, and beds so comfortable. Staff late welcoming and nice. Our kids enjoyed the pool.
Nice motel in town with a well maintained Jacuzzi and indoor outdoor pool. Beautiful garden inside pool area. I had a great stay here in January. The staff were very friendly, recognized my Titanium Elite status, and upgraded me to a larger room. Breakfast was basic, but passable (the property should consider adding oatmeal as a daily offering).
All in all, a solid choice at the price, and worth a look if you need a place in the area.
Updated.. or is it? I’m having a hard time telling. Lobby is nice and bar/restaurant is small but nice as well. The front counter staff was extremely nice and helpful. The room had a heavy smell upon entry. It’s a smell you would expect from a room with a big wall mounted AC unit under the back window. Bed and furniture are decent enough.

The staff treated me like family. I was impressed by the pool and hot tub. It was a relaxing stay. I highly recommend staying at the Hilton Garden Inn for your next vacation if you are in the southern Utah area.
Cleanliness, friendly staff and good location accessible to the freeway and all other sight seeing areas. In addition theirs a museum next door , you see all types of wild animals living in the mountains very educational. Beautiful landscaping, walking path and setting area to just relax and unwind watching the sunset.
Was disappointed in the rooms and hallways - very dark furnishings and showing signs of obvious wear and tear. Hallway carpets were in dire need of cleaning! Lobby was very nice as was the breakfast area. One person to note was Geoffrey, who was excellent as the breakfast chef as well as greeter and waiter - excellent customer service! Overall, not a bad place but rooms were not up to the Hilton standard
For a Hilton and hotel in this price range, it is very dated. There are other hotels in this area for similar pricing that have far nicer accommodations. The pool was nice but the towels at the pool were about the size of a hand towel. Even two of them on a lounger didn’t even cover the chair. Probably wouldn’t stay here again unless it was for a killer price.
