Holiday Inn Steamboat Springs, an IHG Hotel
Steamboat Springs, 3190 South Lincoln Avenue 🧭 Map
We visited town only for one night but location was still great. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Rex’s American Grill Bar which is part of hotel was also perfect, do not leave hotel without trying their amazing dishes!
I was there back in June 2022. This is one of the best experience we had in any hotel. Friendly staff, spacious and clean suite room, balcony with good nature view. Nice pools, table tennis, good food. Everything feels great at this place and will definitely come back (my family were sleeping in the bed so I didn’t take the full room pictures)
***FREQUENT HOLIDAY INN TRAVELER*** We arrived and were immediately greeted with super friendly service. I will say the lobby and normal guest services were under construction for upgrades so that was a thing… but you have to make things better. We were not deterred by this at all. The front desk clerk was super friendly and accommodating. The room was super clean- the grounds were clean and nothing...
I stay here quite frequently due to work. Not sure if there was a recent change in management, but the last few times I've stayed here I've had an improved experience. It was great before, but the team seems to be going the extra mile to make guests feel welcomed and appreciated. Well done!
We stayed at this Holiday Inn for 4 nights and it was wonderful. The location is convenient, the room was clean and comfortable. Every single staff member was extremely helpful and professional, but I have to give a huge shout-out to Quentin - he was a pleasure to chat with and goes out of his way to be accommodating - a true gem at this Holiday Inn. Thank you, Quentin! The restaurant at this hotel...
My friends and I stayed here for a couples' trip this past weekend. The hotel is incredible. It's beautiful, the location is convenient. The corn hole and paddle ball amenities outside the restaurant feature gorgeous views, and we loved the indoor/outdoor pools and hot tubs. The fitness center was spacious and clean. The front desk associates, especially Quinton, were awesome. He went above and beyond...

An absolutely stunning hotel and a very large conference hall. Rooms are nice, clean and well furnished. There are several gift shops along with a ski rental area right inside the hotel. The restaurant has a great serving staff with a wide range of draft beer options. They also serve great food. The pool area alone is a fantastic experience as it is heated along with two hot tubs. Seeing it at night...
I have very few bad things to say here. The room was great. Not too outdated, clean, and housekeeping services were nice. Customer service was excellent, from the host at the front of the building to the housekeeping staff. My only complaint would be that one morning I heard some serious construction noise around 5am. This may have been a one off, but hopefully the hotel management is consulting with...
Fantastic location and accessibility. Amenities are also the best that could be. Small gym on site for all guests with an outdoor (heated) pool and large hot tub. Easy walking distance to the ski lifts but also just a short drive to the downtown shopping as well as the local hot springs. Rooms were great but may need a face-lift soon. Would mark 5 star but no mini fridge or microwave in the room,...
We picked the Steamboat Grand for our corporate retreat. The whole process was extremely easy, and the team at the Grand is so accommodating. We had many last minute changes, as these types of events do, and the team had no problem helping us with the changes quickly. They gave us a great rate during the off season. The food and service was exceptional, and if we ever come to Steamboat for an event...
An expansive hotel that still feels cozy. Room was a little dated (especially the bathroom), but clean. No refrigerator in my Deluxe King room. The pool and gym are very nice and large. On-site dining options are passable, but it'd be better to eat out. Friendly front desk and housekeeping staff
Got a nice room with a kitchen for a great price. Just a short 5 minute walk to the lift which is awesome. It's shortest if you cut through the Sheraton hotel lot.

So close to dining and amazing views from the hotel
We stayed at a studio unit of the Sheraton resort villas. This location cannot be beat. Even though there is overnight storage for your skis at the outside of the building, the location is steps from the Wild Blue Gondola, Christie's Peak Express, and Steamboat Gondola that we just ended up taking our skis up to the room. The studio is equipped with a four burner stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave...
Prime location at the base of the slopes. Room was nice. Service was terrible. Elite benefits / room service were lacking. Basically, they bank on volume and could care less for individual customers.
Cannot say enough great things about our stay. Staff GREAT, rooms COMFORTABLE and they even had a washer/dryer in our room which was a nice surprise. I would recommend for families, couples, vacation a d business. Would most definitely return.
Hotel is lovely. Got a king suite and I really appreciated all the amenities that came with it. There was a washer and dryer in the room and full size fridge and flat top to cook on. Nice balcony with the room. Super close to the ski slopes! Would love to come back here in the winter during ski season if I can afford it!
Had an enjoyable stay. We were in a studio and it was sufficiently appointed for our weeks stay. We hiked everyday and found the location to be great. We ate every meal in the condo or a packed lunch. And the kitchen with a mid sized refrigerator was great. We did not spend much time using the resort amenities except recovering from hiking in the pool and hot tub. The fitness center looked above average...

The breakfast was delicious both days! Hot tub temperature was perfect. Beautiful and interesting home. Very clean. Cheri is very friendly and a good person to consult about where to eat and what to do in Steamboat.
Had a wonderful stay with Cheri shorty after marrying my Wife! We loved the house and amenities. Our space was exceptionally clean and we enjoyed a phenomenal breakfast each morning! -Thanks a ton, Cheri!
What a wonderful get away in beautiful Steamboat Springs! Delicious breakfast and snacks, quiet & peaceful and perfect location! We will be back!
Great hideaway in Steamboat. The host Cheri is great and very personable. She gave us great advice on where to eat and what to do in town. The breakfasts that were provided were restaurant quality! We will definitely be back!
Cheri, we loved staying with you at Val d'Isere this past September! Cheri accommodated a gluten free preference and made amazing breakfasts (and bottomless coffee...thank you!). Her house is so comfortable, very clean, quiet and perfectly located on the mountain in Steamboat. You can see the gondola from her beautifully manicured back yard. I like that she only has 2 guest rooms, because you truly...
We stayed here for a birthday weekend and enjoyed every second of it. From the heated bathroom floors to the view of the night sky from the hot tub, we were overjoyed at the homestyle comfort of the place. Cheri's breakfasts are out of this world and she is quick to offer up recommendations for things to do in and around town, you'd do well to heed them. When the time came to pack our bags and check...

The condo was well equipped with everything you would need for a short stay. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of parking. Could take a free bus into Steamboat which picks up nearby.
Very spacious but cozy. Plenty of room and places to sleep. Responsive and helpful staff. Clean and good amenities. Was able to check in very late with no issue. So affordable and would definitely return to Sunburst!

We ended up staying here because of a closure on I-70 and was an unplanned stay. The rooms were clean and nice. Their breakfast was good and had a few hot and cold options. The woman running the breakfast area was very helpful and did her job of cleaning and preparing extremely well. The pool is small but kept up well. The hot tub is spacious and much larger in comparison to the pool. There was construction...
We booked an overnight when visiting steamboat springs. We were upgraded to a king spa room, which comes with an electric fireplace. The room was spacious. The check-in was easy and the front desk guy was very helpful. Parking is complimentary which was nice. The only negative we experienced was the shower shampoo and conditioner was completely empty and the conditioner bottle had conditioner down...
Perfect location for Steamboat Balloon Festival! We walked to morning festival and didn’t have to mess with shuttle. Staff were wonderful, breakfast was well stocked and had lots of options. Free parking, popcorn, lemonade, and coffee all day. It was all nice. The only thing I’d hope for is warmer pool but it was nice and clean.
The two day stay with my family was nice and comfortable overall. Room was clean and presentable upon arrival and no big issues during stay. The front desk folks were friendly and helpful the entire time. The only issue I had, was the lack of a functioning exhaust vent in the bathroom. I would have had to keep the bathroom door open to prevent the use of the shower from turning it into a steam...
Great hotel. The orange bus is across the street to take to mountain. Great rooms, breakfast, staff, hot tub and location.
Wish they'd had a shuttle to the slopes, but other than that it was a good hotel. Great breakfast with lots of choices for adults and kids. Cozy fire burning in the spacious lobby during the winter. ?

The two-bedroom condo was perfect for the four of us. Could have definitely fit another two on the pull out if you need to fix 6. The bed was really comfy in our room, and the kitchen was a great size to be able to make food together before hitting the slopes.
It looks like each room (bathroom, bedrooms, living room) has a thermostat to change the heating in the rooms. The views from the room are pretty in the winter time. A kitchen with a full stove and microwave is really helpful so we don't have to eat at restaurants all the time. There's a shuttle running to take you to steamboat ski area which is really helpful. There's also many stores (Walmart, city...
Room is very clean and cozy. The bed is ok. I'm spoiled at home. My husband saw a Bear on Monday night before 11:00 pm. It was near the property fence. The Moose and twins ran right by our front door and found access to the back of the property, right after walking by the office. Exciting week.
We got a new room. They are nice enough. New TVs, appliances. Just spent an hour in th sauna. It never got hot enough to sweat. The hot tub wasn't. No coffee in the lobby. Good location.
Very conveniently located opposite a Safeway and close to several restaurants. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable. There is a kitchen but we didn't cook at all so I can't really say how well equipped it was.
Awesome room. Got upgraded to a two bedroom and loved having 2 bathrooms! Very clean, quiet, great amenities! Would definitely stay again!

We stayed here through a friend's timeshare as our honeymoon was rerouted from hurricane-destined Puerto Rico. We LOVED the concierge services! Stayed with my wife and parents for a couple of nights and had a great time. Very welcoming staff, eager to help with anything. Location is a bit out of town so you'll need to drive to anything but not far. Room was clean and kitchen was well appointed. Grocery nearby. Would definitely recommend!
Resort was beautiful and well kept. Rooms excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay there and would definitely go back.
The new Wyndham system is very much less than par. The only thing that makes up the poor system and late of availability from corporate, is the good employees at the facilities. Bianca at the Steamboat Springs location was sympathetic, kind and helpful. I appreciate employees like her when systems are failing. Since it is a mixed review, I'm rating off of the helpfulness of the Steamboat Springs...
Loved this spot, my wife and I really enjoyed the relaxing environment and that so many of our needs were met inside the apartment. The full kitchen always come in handy. Nice place with a wonderful view. Only thing is it is a ski out, but a rough "ski in."
Condo was wonderful and it had great views of the ski resort and mountains. The bed in the second room was very loud when moving during the night and would wake up my wife or me everytime we moved. Other than the noisy bed our friends and us had a great time.
Place is amazing. Rooms are all unique and very cute. Only issue is that the walls are fairly thin
Great location, definitely more ski in ski out than snowboard in/out. features amazing mountain views and fireplaces in some units. The free shuttle was convenient and took us wherever we wanted to go when it wasn't running a loop to the gondola.
We had a nice 2 br condo right on the mountain. Great location for the fireworks
Been coming here for years. A great mountainside view with a spa and lots of stuff to do. Would highly recommend.

Enjoyed staying here the second week of August. The rooms were amazingly clean and the cable tv was great. We watched The Hobbit and Star Wars Rogue One. Nice continental breakfast available until 9:00.
I spent three nights here and found it very enjoyable! My greeting was very nice when I checked in my room was very clean and modern. It is conveniently located with just a short drive to free parking at the resort. There are many great options for dinner downtown which is also a short drive. And bring your suit for a dip in one of the two hot springs that are close by. I definitely plan on returning...
Great bang for your buck! Came up on a busy weekend. Rates were great. Front desk had tooth brushes (I forgot mine) and a cork screw for opening a bottle of wine. Hot tub was open (needed to make reservations) and the room was clean and perfect for what we needed. Very happy with the choice to stay here.
This place really surprised me. Yeah, the rooms are a little small and dated, but everything was super clean and they had some nice little details... like shampoo/body wash dispensers in the shower instead of wasteful little bottles and a black makeup towel so I don't get mascara on the nice white towels. It's not too far away from downtown, only about two miles. Overall, a really nice stay and would...
Great hotel great value. Staff was very nice
Basic hotel. No elevator and no breakfast. No highway noise. It is right at the free shuttle stop on the orange line to ski area. Tired carpeting. Mini fridge in room but no microwave. Beds soft with Cosy comforters. Table with two chairs.

Incredible place. I'm hesitant to divulge all the lovely details about this spot because I need to book it for next year and if I can't do that because y'all took all the rooms I'm going to be sad. This Inn had such a great feel. It only has between 30-40 rooms so there were never any crowds in the dining area, common areas, or hot tub/pool. However, it still had all the amenities of a larger resort, like frequent shuttles into town and the slopes and a ski gear storage room. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond with accommodations. The tea/coffee and cookies by...
Kinda hidden and you will need GPS to get there but it is a really nice find. Not glamorous or flashy, and not quite rustic but well appointed spacious rooms and a very nice breakfast offering (no powdered egg mix, thank you very much!) It is also really close to all the shops and offer shuttle rides as well. They also offer locally crafted soaps and shampoos for use in the rooms. I visited just...
Comfy, well-appointed rooms, free shuttle to ski slopes (5 mins) and town, amazing staff, with 5 star service levels. Great hot tub, pool and sauna. High quality teas and home-made cookies every day. Highly recommended.
Staff is really friendly and helpful. Complimentary shuttle service from the Inn to the ski base, town, etc. was nice to have, but you can honestly walk to the base if you're motivated. Breakfast included in my room rate was good (they were willing to accommodate my dietary restrictions, which I appreciated). Rooms are very spacious and kept clean. Nice place for the money. Rooms are comfortable but not fancy. Location is good but a huge hill prevents walking many places, especially at this altitude. Pool and hot tubes are nice. Grills available. Our room had full kitchen. Would stay here again considering the reasonable cost versus much of Steamboat.
This was my first time staying here! The place was nice, needs a Lil updating but wasn't bad. I just wished they had there swimming pool area and outdoor fire pit open 24hrs or at least open till midnight! All in all, the staff was really friendly, the rooms were very clean, the view was amazing and I liked that you can check out with a text message.
The location is amazing. I definitely will be back when it snows. The only thing was the game room was closed. Rooms are clean and worth the price, comfortable bed, and couches. Mini kitchen is fully equipped to make anything you want. Both front-end clerks extremely helpful and just amazing.
This place has a butifull outlook of the mountains.there is a nice pool with 2 separate hot tubs, sauna, showers to rinse off. Game room with pool, foosball, video games. Rooms are great. I had a great time here there were plenty of things to do and activities for kids. Nice friendly staff, enjoyed the stay and appreciated breakfast being readily available. Room was quiet and comfortable. An unusual hotel layout for rooms on the 3rd floor - there is an individual stairwell for each room-- no elevator. It was hard to climb the additional flight of stairs to get to the room after a long day of hiking. Not a major problem just something to be aware of.
I’ve stayed here before and loved the location, staff and overall cleanliness of the hotel. Hilton properties are always nice to stay at but this stay was made extra special thanks to Charlie. I had a rough drive up from Denver only to find out I forgot my license :( The first room I was in faced the parking lot on ground level, which wasn’t ideal for a single woman. I asked if there was another room...
Would stay again. Front desk management and personnel are super nice and helpful. Breakfast is decent. The cookies in the evening are delicious. I think I ate too many. The hot tubs are hot and very relaxing. Location is great. Shuttle to slopes is timely and frequent. My only complaint is beds could be a bit softer. The pillows are great though.
We had a room with three king beds. Lovely for a family. Fireplace was nice. Clean. Nice bathroom. Loved the sitting area. Great breakfast. Three great hit tubs. Glad we stayed here.
I was here for work, but I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are quite nice and have all the amenities you would want. Their breakfast was quite good. The hotel is a little bit further than most from the ski runs, but it doesn't matter as it looked like there's a shuttle you could take, and in steamboat you can't really be all that far from the resort at any given location. There's some great dining...
Great staff! They are total professionals and made our stay so incredible. The location is perfect! Walk to downtown and a quick convenient personal shuttle straight to the gondola. Just text them on your last run and they are there for you! This is the best place!!!

Highly convenient (1) ski-in/ski-out access and (2) walking distance to WinterWonderGrass festival.
Unit itself is great! No problems here at all. Vacasa needs to furnish more towels. 1 wash cloth and 4 bath towels is not enough for a week long trip for three family members. And being charged for more is not acceptable. Do know that ski access to the base from Ptarmigan House is no longer the same as in years' past. Loved staying here for my winter vacation, cannot wait until next ski season to do it all over again. Beautiful condo, everything you need to cook full meals, even a crock pot. Overall very happy with our stay. The room was clean, full kitchen, and underground parking space. The bed was extremely comfortable and the heat worked great. Negatives: the shower smelled weird and the fireplace didn't work. However, the location was amazing - not really a ski in/ski out as there was a short walk but certainly not too terrible. I would absolutely stay again.

We were with a car rally group traveling through Steamboat and staying the night on a Saturday. The staff were so well organized that all of us got checked into our multiple rooms very quickly so we could have plenty of time to go explore the town. We've been staying here for the past 7 or 8 years when we come to steamboat. The last stay here will probably be our last. It's always been decent and moderately priced. Rooms were clean and beds were really comfortable. This last visit wasn't anything like the past. Room seemed stuffy and it definitely needed a makeover. Carpet looked worn. As has been stated in many a review - nothing fancy, but comfortable and, despite the nearby main road, quiet. We had a river view too which made it even better! Front desk was friendly and helpful. It's a short walk to several dining options, as well as a hot springs across the street (we didn't go, so I don't have real detail there, but I understand there's a fee). Rooms were comfortable and clean
I am going to try to keep this as short as possible but I literally have 1,000,001 positive things to say about this hotel. Is it the Ritz? We had a good experience. Reviews weren’t great so wanted to give a fair perspective. Paid a high price for a Sat night during ski season. Clean room, comfortable rooms. Breakfast was fine. Hot tub pool area older, indoors but felt great after skiing. It’s an average hotel. But it was clean and quiet. Met expectations.
Pleasant staff, good full buffet breakfast. A bit worn, but much less expensive!
Great hotel, probably the cheapest one you'll find with an indoor pool and hot tub. Very clean, good hot breakfast every morning, and friendly staff.

Great downtown location with easy walk to all the shops and dining. Rooms are clean and quaint. Really enjoyed the hottub!
The location, staff, and decor/ambiance of this place are all great. However, the room size was unmanageable for 2 people here in the summer going to a wedding. I can’t imagine staying here during ski season when you have additional gear. Also the showers are hostel-esque. We stayed in a double queen room, which was nice. I didn't care for the mattress, but I don't like any mattresses in hotels, so no stars deducted for that. The bathroom had a dispenser in the shower for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash; the conditioner one didn't work. It was affordable for a last minute stay, the people were incredibly nice and the room was nice and clean. Definitely would consider staying here again.
