Where to stay in Steamboat Springs

We love it here! Comfortable, well appointed, close to the mountain. We especially love coming in spring/summer when the weather is perfect, everything is green, and the crowds are thinner.

My family rented a home at Emerald Lodge via VRBO and our summer stay has been wonderful. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with flowers in bloom and excellent views of the mountains all around. The lodge is in walking distance to the gondala square which has tons of resturants and shops. There is also a free bus that takes visitors to town! Our lodge is beautiful inside and very spacious. 10/1...

Great place to stay in steamboat springs. Lots of room, comfortable beds, and nice bathrooms. Would recommend.

Beautiful and makes you feel at home. Several pools to use and private hot tub. Kitchen is fully stocked

We visited town only for one night but location was still great. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Rex’s American Grill Bar which is part of hotel was also perfect, do not leave hotel without trying their amazing dishes!

I was there back in June 2022. This is one of the best experience we had in any hotel. Friendly staff, spacious and clean suite room, balcony with good nature view. Nice pools, table tennis, good food. Everything feels great at this place and will definitely come back (my family were sleeping in the bed so I didn’t take the full room pictures)

I stay here quite frequently due to work. Not sure if there was a recent change in management, but the last few times I've stayed here I've had an improved experience. It was great before, but the team seems to be going the extra mile to make guests feel welcomed and appreciated. Well done!

We stayed at this Holiday Inn for 4 nights and it was wonderful. The location is convenient, the room was clean and comfortable. My friends and I stayed here for a couples' trip this past weekend. The hotel is incredible. It's beautiful, the location is convenient. The corn hole and paddle ball amenities outside the restaurant feature gorgeous views, and we loved the indoor/outdoor pools and hot tubs. The fitness center was spacious and clean. The front desk associates, especially Quinton, were awesome. He went above and beyond...

The condo was well equipped with everything you would need for a short stay. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of parking. Could take a free bus into Steamboat which picks up nearby.

Very spacious but cozy. Plenty of room and places to sleep. Responsive and helpful staff. Clean and good amenities. Was able to check in very late with no issue. So affordable and would definitely return to Sunburst!

Easy walk to Thunderhead Express lift. Kitchen was great with Covid as we made most meals in the condo. Shuttle picks you up at the door. No need to drive once you get here. Quiet residential area.

While not ski in/out, they have an excellent door-to-door shuttle system! They will pick you up at designated locations in the village, and often have a 10 minute pick-up time or less. You get a dedicated phone number to request the shuttle. Accommodations are clean & comfortable. There are a variety of options based on your group size. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended.

Great location just minutes from downtown. The rooms are very clean and the kitchen is fully stocked for cooking meals. One thing we didn't realize is that there is no AC, but there are several fans located throughout the condo for your use!

Located at the top of Burgess Creek rd Scandinavian Lodge is in the ideal location for summer ans winter activities. Walking/short biking distance to mnt bike traols, frisbee golf or hiking to vistas with a view of the valley. 5 min walk to Thunderhead lift to access all terain with battling the gondola square mosh pit.

Condo was wonderful and it had great views of the ski resort and mountains. The bed in the second room was very loud when moving during the night and would wake up my wife or me everytime we moved. Other than the noisy bed our friends and us had a great time.

Great location, definitely more ski in ski out than snowboard in/out. features amazing mountain views and fireplaces in some units. The free shuttle was convenient and took us wherever we wanted to go when it wasn't running a loop to the gondola.

Been coming here for years. A great mountainside view with a spa and lots of stuff to do. Would highly recommend.

Steamboat has everything, the mountain has tons of trails in the winter there is indoor tennis and they are working for indoor pickle, there are plenty of stores and things to do within minutes away, there are plenty of good restaurants nearby, and the condos are very nice, they are clean, spacious, and people are very nice around the town

Great condos and facilities on site. The heated pool and hot tub were amazing after long days of skiing! Extremely close to the slopes.

The condos are great and have a clean feel. The staff at the front desk is also extremely nice and accommodating. They have a lot of complimentary items as well, like hot chocolate, coffee, and yummy treats. There is also a nice gym and a pool with a hot tub. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

The Steamboat Resorts staff was perfectly attentive, from responding quickly to emails in advance of our trip to leaving a care package with wine, chocolates, a lovely note wishing my husband a happy birthday. Unit itself is great! No problems here at all. Vacasa needs to furnish more towels. 1 wash cloth and 4 bath towels is not enough for a week long trip for three family members. And being charged for more is not acceptable. Do know that ski access to the base from Ptarmigan House is no longer the same as in years' past. Loved staying here for my winter vacation, cannot wait until next ski season to do it all over again. Beautiful condo, everything you need to cook full meals, even a crock pot. Overall very happy with our stay. The room was clean, full kitchen, and underground parking space. The bed was extremely comfortable and the heat worked great. Negatives: the shower smelled weird and the fireplace didn't work. However, the location was amazing - not really a ski in/ski out as there was a short walk but certainly not too terrible. I would absolutely stay again.

The place was great. However, it advertises that it is ski up, but it's actually a 7 minute walk up hill from gondola square.

A little rough around the edges, but generally nice, very close to the center of town (about 5 minute walk from the grand), a good value, and quiet. Cute magpies around everywhere too... or at least in September. We'd return for the price we paid.

Surprisingly excellent accommodations, about a 7 minute walk from the gondola. Good views off the balcony and free shuttle service whenever you request it. Reasonably priced compared to other options!
