Residence Inn Miami Sunny Isles Beach

I’ve visited this hotel three times this year (2024).
Pros: Location, a short walk to the beach. Free chairs and towels at the beach courtesy of affiliates of the hotel. The hotel will provide a shuttle to the beach as well. One thing, a (rental) umbrella is $25. There are two free alcoholic drinks per day that come with the room.
It’s a short walk to several shops and restaurants, even Publix grocery store about three blocks away and a Walgreens one block away.

Cons: Rooms are small; especially for the price. Housekeeping is so-so, I was concerned about sanitation and cleanliness. The door to the bathroom was broken in my room and when I asked for a different room, it was declined. I tried to attempt an early check out and was told I would be charged one day full night stay…even though the reason I wanted to leave was because cleanliness and broken bathroom door (no privacy).
The hotel is in a good location if you’re looking for quiet/peaceful, etc (not as much traffic and loud as South Beach). Feels safe walking about the neighborhood. I won’t be staying here anymore; I’ll seek a hotel close by, hopefully better.
