Residence Inn Sunnyvale Silicon Valley I
Sunnyvale, 750 Lakeway Drive 🧭 Map
We loved it! The bed was a little too firm but that's just about the only thing I wished was different. The customer service is great and the breakfast is decent
Stayed here and the place is amazing. Not much to do in this area but there is a pond right across the street.
Breakfast options are limited. Good people at the front desk (Danny and the lady Manager).
Will stay again if need be.
Small room with everything you need (bed, kitchen and bathroom). Good room service by the employees. I just dislike that spiders always get inside.
Not impressed. Breakfast was very limited and poor. Rooms were nice but nothing special. In fact looks like an apartment complex converted into a hotel.
If you are looking for 2 BR unit, options are limited and worth using. Otherwise for studio and one BR unit, you can find many better options.
My first time staying here as a guest. The main guest check in location is on one side of the street with regular rooms and across the street are rooms that is a penthouse. Since I was a gold elite member, I was given a complimentary upgrade which was nice of them. The exterior design seems to be homey feel like designs from the 1960s or 1970s feel. (I could be wrong on this) I was given a map on how...
The Staff are very friendly, and the rooms are great. Good breakfast selection and the afternoon mixer is a great way to mingle and get a snack or beer.

Staybridge Suites Sunnyvale
Sunnyvale, 900 Hamlin Court 🧭 Map
Stayed for 3 nights and no complaints. Nice and clean rooms, clean linens, comfy bed and well equipped kitchen.
Suggestion: Please upgrade TV's
I would recommend this to anyone who is coming to the Sunnyvale area.
Saw a review that said diamond in the rough and cant agree more.
Its kind of secluded which helped keep noise down.
Some said the security is a little concerning but we felt safe enough.
Only downside we really had was the weather sealing on our door could be replaced.
They have cookies at night which few places do anymore.
The breakfast is decent.
Our room was nice, the doors can be tricky to open...
Fantastic hotel. Suites are very large with a full kitchen. The breakfast spread is delicious, and they use real silverware and full condiment bottles instead of use use plastics. The employees are friendly and helpful as well. Michael was jovial and pleasant while checking us in and the text check up from Cenon was nice.
Friendly staff, great service, nice rooms (more like a small apartment). I like the breakfast options: waffles, potatoes, egg (scrambled and cooked), sausages/bacon/burrito (depending on the day), bread, bagels, ... + toaster, cereals, juices, milk, fruit, and I'm sure I might still be forgetting something. We came with our dog, and I felt that he was very welcome (poop bag stations around the buildings...
Large apartments, sometimes I'd even get a two bed two bath.
Clean rooms, haven't had any issues during the two times I've stayed here. Reasonably quiet, close to Google, not too far from SJC in traffic.
Haven't tried their pool. Would be nice if they gave some free filtered or bottled water.
Great place, comfortable rooms, nice location. Very clean. Free breakfast, social hour Monday through Wednesday evening. The gym is small but can fit your needs for a few days, if you're staying longer than a couple days and are a gym junkie you'll definitely want to join a local gym. Overall a good place to stay.

Friendly staff, quick check-in/out - showed up a little early and room was ready, close enough to Levi's stadium to walk, bed was comfortable
Best bedding ever, @Ramada management - what kind of king mattresses do you use - I would buy myself one? Breakfast is good, room is clean, no noise on the back facing rooms, safe in the room is also good addition. Thank you for a good stay!
My husband, daughter and I have been staying here for the last week, due to COVID we lost our home and have been staying in hotels. We are really grateful to find this hotel because the staff here is awesome and that is seriously a relief because most of hotels we've been to the staff has been rude and disrespectful even for no reason. The room is nice the pool and the jacuzzi is nice but the biggest...
Decent bed, clean, bathroom has cracks in tiles and holes around fixtures. Card reader to room barely works. Ok for an inexpensive place. Would be better if they had a wider assortment of fruit and healthy options for breakfast and free weights in exercise room.
Stayed two weeks. Nicely looking courtyard. Friendly staff even though I frequently lost my key cards. Neat whirlpool which is unnecessarily heated 24/7. Well America.. Small but good gym. King size beds. Breakfast is always the same.
This hotel was pretty average. Good location, but the room was a bit musty. I had mis-booked my visit by a day so I did very much appreciate that they didn't bill me for the incorrect day... which they'd have been justified doing.
The single event that made me want to write a review was as follows:
The checkout time listed in the room's information binder was incorrect (written as noon; apparently...

Courtyard by Marriott Sunnyvale Mountain View
Sunnyvale, 660 West El Camino Real 🧭 Map
Good location, nice big rooms with a kitchen, a washer & dryer which are very important when you are on the road for 2 weeks at a stretch.
The hotel is very clean and the staff is curtious. Rooms have what I needed. Internet was good and the fitness center was well stocked. My only reason to rate it less than 5 stars is due to the beds. It was not comfortable at all and very hard. I know that is a personal choice, thought they could meet us side sleepers half way.
The staff at this location were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The rooms—bed(s), bathroom—were tended daily, and I appreciated the attention to detail. The location is also great: a short trip to Mountain View, and walking distance to dowtown Sunnyvale businesses. I would choose this location again without hesitation.
One of the nicer courtyards I've been to. Recently renovated, nice lobby, good location if you're working in the area. The gym is big enough to get a decent workout. But it's small enough to get really crowded quickly so as long as you're not working out in prime time you should be fine.
Really lovely for the business traveller. Comfortable, pleasant in every detail. The delicious and well run Bistro helped me out with a late meal, and all staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. No room service. :(
Liked that this location has inside parking. Safeway is right across the st. Restaurants within walking distance. Our room had a leaky toilet and the fan in the bathroom didnt work.. also i think something is wrong with the heater/ air conditioning unit because it kept blowing cold instead of hot. other than that, no complaints. bed is comfortable, room is clean, and staff wonderful, as usual. (:

Sunnyvale, 170 South Sunnyvale Avenue 🧭 Map
The hotel itself was okay. The room was small. Shower had great heat and water pressure, but in general lacking in overall amenities. Gym was underwhelming.
All that being said, I enjoyed my time at the Aloft. The location was great ,but Sam, the Bartender made all the difference. He made great drinks and was good company. Some of the best Tom Collin's I have ever had.
Thanks Sam.
The location was great, and everyone was friendly. However, the rooms were so incredibly tiny, you could hear absolutely everything around you, and there was not even a mini refrigerator. When I say you could hear everything around you, I mean people outside, someone cough in the next room, doors shutting in the hallway, people laughing... literally everything.
Wonderful staff. Very friendly and particularly helpful (especially Emilio). Hotel is basically a hipster Hampton Inn with a bigger TV and smaller rooms. Way overpriced even for Sunnyvale.
Thin walls, bring ear plugs. Extremely small rooms. Bar is mediocre, when it is staffed. Trying to hard with out a full team.
Breakfast was terrible. Rooms were small. On the positive side, room was clean and location was great (close to restaurants and public transportation).
The room is small by American standards - very little space beyond the bed (not counting the bathroom). Nevertheless it is comfortable as a place to sleep - I was in town for work so didn't use the room much beyond that. The hotel is in a good location, with a street of several restaurants right around the corner. Free parking is also a nice touch.

Hilton Garden Inn Mountain View
Mountain View, 840 East El Camino Real 🧭 Map
The hotel is now the Aloft. Comfortable, modern rooms, amazing shower, friendly staff. Look forward to coming back.
The downstairs main floor is beautiful, modern, and updated. The rooms however, are outdated, sad, and resemble a dorm room. I highly recommend the hotel paint the walls a fun color and consider hanging some actual paintings or something instead of bare sad White Walls everywhere you look.
The bed was fairly comfortable, but all furniture was dated.
The bathroom was updated which was nice, and the...
The Hotel had a very welcoming feel. The layout and atmosphere was similar to most Hilton Garden Inns.i enjoy have a cooked to order omelette and a hot breakfast. The grounds were clean and well landscaped. The beds were new and very comfortable with four feather pillows. The bath linens were soft and luxurious. My only complaint is that the nightly rate of $552 per night seemed quite high. The bartender...
The staff is friendly and helpful. The room appears to be updated with some modern touches, but there are areas that are definitely dated. The bed is supposedly adjustable, but I didn't notice any difference. Large TV in the room, but some channels didn't work (like HBO). Overall, I was satisfied, but considering the high price, I expected better.
A good location surrounded by restaurants. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean. Water was very hot on demand
Nice Silicon Valley hotel for business travel stay. Strategic location - close to 85, 237 and 101 freeways. Has been recently renovated. Staff is very friendly.

Friendship Inn

Tuesday night is one many nights that I have enjoyed the pleasant safe inviorment of Friendship Inn. Excellent Staff and Management.
I was a traveler before I retired. Stayed in many Hotels/ Motels
This place feels like a visitor with friends
.
I stayed at this hotel for 2 months. The room was great, I didn't feel like I was staying at a hotel. The service was great, the staff was friendly. I would stay here again.
I stayed at this hotel for about 2 months, and I had a very pleasant experience. All their staff are friendly, and the owner accommodated my room based on my needs. The location is superb, which is close to Korean groceries and Apple park! I would highly recommend this place.
Stayed here for a couple weeks. Really liked the room which included a nice kitchen. Big TV, and great location near lots of delicious indian and korean food. Friendly service, people at the desk willing to help. Highly recommend to anyone.
The breakfast offers American type breakfast items and also has a nice Asian breakfast offering. The staff was wonderful. Definitely a place to try for the business or limited stay traveller.
I am pretty sure that they clean the rooms with a toothbrush. The staff was beyond wonderful.they could not have been more friendly and helpful! I will definitely stay here again!

The beds were soft and comfy, as well as their pillows. The breakfast provided was alright, especially since they had a pancake maker.
Clean quiet basic room. Variety of good at breakfast was limited. The desk chair was uncomfortable and bathroom fan very noisy. Friendly staff.
I liked the location, walking distance to NASA Ames. The hotel had breakfast included, but it was biscuits and gravy every day for a week. The room was clean but felt dated. I would stay again since it was clean, safe, and walking distance to where I need to be. However, the hotel could improve some things to make the stays better. Even just rotating some breakfast items would make it feel less like...
Just spent 4 days there for work, less than & 10 minute casual walk to the Quads, Fairchild etc. Has all the essentials, room was spacious and clean, equipped with coffee-machine & fridge, bathroom was actually quite nice; sink is in the living area. Really comfy beds! It's a standard 2-3 star hotel quality, with absolutely no cleanliness issues that I could see. I appreciated the on-site washer-dryer...

The rooms were small but comfortable. There was enough room to stow my overnight bag and lay out my toiletries in the counter. But, my stay was short, and my bag was small. The the showers were nice enough but like most stays away from home I'm always left wanting more pressure from the shower head. It was everything you could ask for in an overnight stay and just about nothing more. Parking was not...

Check-in process was smooth, hotel staff is very good they checked my dietery requirements and ensured that vegeterian breakfast is available. Room was great and another thing I liked very much is a tablet inside the room which you can use to order room service or complain for things which are not working, icing on the cake was a robot delivering water as part of room service. Last but not the least...
I was pleasantly surprised at how well equipped this hotel was. A great location right on the El Camino in Mountain View. Clean, quiet and relaxing. The breakfast buffet had an assortment of choices to get your day started and the staff was very welcoming!
My wife and I were very impressed.frist the parking was great, you park under the hotel it's self. Plenty of room and well light and close to the front desk. We walked in and talk to the employee at the front desk he already had our paper work and room card ready for us. After we where done he said breakfast would be to our right and and elevator was behind us. We get to our room and were impressed...
Really nice place to stay in Mountain View. Close proximity to prime offices. Budget hotel with good breakfast, decent room size, bathtub and in house parking. Plus this hotel has a robot which deliver any order you place to the front desk.
Staff were nice and hotel was neat and tidy. Lots of traffic noise in second floor street-facing rooms. Walls were thin; could clearly hear German-speaking folks in the adjacent room.
Pretty standard hotel. Nothing especially great. Main problem I had was that the rooms aren't well sound-proofed, so I could hear noise from the adjoining rooms (like people talking, the tv, etc.).
