Madeline Hotel and Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection
Telluride, 568 Mountain Village Road 🧭 Map
Location is ideal, our room was great and very clean. We brought our dog and he spent a lot of time on the deck watching people and other dogs. So fun that your dog can go into a bar with you. We will return!
Our stay at the Madeline was well above 5-stars! Billie helped get us checked in, she also helped with our dinner reservations and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We’ll definitely be coming back here because of the excellence service.
Large and well-appointed rooms. Fantastic desk and concierge staff that were easily reachable and very helpful. And excellent location near the lifts and the gondola into town!
Dream-like beautiful luxurious 5-star place that won't leave anyone wanting anything else !! you just have to experience: ski-in, ski-out, the ice skating rink, its restaurant n bars n proximity to many others, the free gondolas a few steps away (free!!)
This hotel is beyond beautiful. But even more impressive was the amazing staff. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure were happy and well taken care of in every way.
I can honestly say it was the best customer service we've ever experienced at a hotel.
I also would like to mention Billie, the manager by name because she was beyond extraordinary.
Thanks Madeline!
Talk about attention to detail. This place goes above and beyond what is expected. My perineum is cleaner than ever.

All goodies breakfast etc excellent
Great views. Excellent housekeeping . Hardworking concierge service
Amazing hotel! every detail there; the rooms are just incredible. Brought our golden retriever and she was treated like royalty. Outstanding experience!!!
A lovely boutique hotel with exceptional customer service. We can't find anything negative to say and can't wait to return!
My husband and I stayed at the Lumiere in July 2017 and without a doubt it was an exceptional experience. We received an unexpected surprise to have our room upgraded to a residence! It was amazing! And we can't say enough nice things about Jose - he was extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you Clare Afman and Bas Afman. Our stay exceeded our expectations thanks to you and your team!
We had an excellent experience at the Lumiere this past September for our honeymoon. The staff and service are top notch and the hotel and its amenities are perfect for a trip out west.
The rooms are prestine, and the service was fantastic! To make things even better, we were lucky enough to be upgraded to the penthouse when we arrived!

Mountainside Inn
Telluride, 333 South Davis Street 🧭 Map
We were pleasantly surprised by the Mountainside Inn. The suite was larger and better fitted with amenities and space than what the images suggested, and the location was perfect. Very practical with parking, and just a 5-10 min walk to town. We prioritised being close to both the coonskin chairlift and Gondola one (ski in ski out actually ...) but some may want a place closer to city center if that...
A hidden gem in Telluride. No frills, but a decent room, with parking, at a very good price. Helpful staff. Great location near the mountain and downtown. I had a great visit and plan to return!
The inn as a whole is great. Good location and fairly cozy. Rooms are small and short on amenities but not lacking. Hot tub and staff make the experience better. Parking is different but telluride has that kind of a problem anyway. Will come back but not with kids. Need more room for that.
Great little in. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean and well-kept. You cannot beat this location in Telluride. Would absolutely stay there again.
Room was on the small side and somewhat pricey for the accommodations (Telluride is not a "cheap" place to visit). King size bed took half the room. Had large, black spider crawling on the back of my neck in the middle of the night and about took my head off trying to kill it!! Hotel located in a very congested area so there's a lot of outside noise early in the mornings and late at night, but it...
Staff makes the hotel - and these guys rock. Coming off a trail (Tomboy Road) we realized we'd lost a u-joint and our Jeep was down for the count. Luckily this place had a room, but the staff went above and beyond for us. They would have been well within their rights to tell us to get lost the day after our stay, but they were kind enough to let our Jeep stay in their parking lot while we waited for...

Absolutely gorgeous! The area was like in a dream… the mountains overlooking and the greenery and the sunset was stunning! Very happy with our stay!! The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very pleasant and inviting. Thank you!!!
Our 4 night stay was delightful in every way. We loved the room with a balcony and stunning view, the comfy beds and spacious bathroom. The pool area and spa were lovely and we made use of them a lot - love the exercise classes too! Very quick walk to the gondola. We did not dine on the property so cannot speak to the food options, but it’s a great hotel!
Only stayed one night but the location was ideal for us with Ski in/out and easy access to the gondola to take you over the mountain into Telluride. The room was nice and had recently been renovated. Nice fitness area, outside seating, restaurant. Fantastic views. The only downside was that the hallway noise at night comes right through the door into the room. Not sure why they can't put a better door...
Very nice hotel. The room I stayed in was average though it was the cheapest room option in the whole place, so I’m not quite sure of the quality of the more expensive options.
The restaurant on site was great! The service was excellent and they have plenty of room to lounge around in the lobby/common area.
The gym and spa were very nice and definitely a perk if trying to keep up a fitness regiment...
Awesome location! Pretty much all of the services were great. I'm not a fan of the parking fees but that seems to be the new thing 😔. My wife left an electronic device in our room and it was found and returned, which was great 😃. It's only a short walk to the gondola which takes you right into town 👍🏼
Had a drink and a small bite to eat at the bar at the Peaks Resort & Spa. The service was outstanding, the hummus plate we had was excellent. The views are amazing here by the way! We would definitely consider staying at this hotel in the winter one day, skipped it this time due to the lack of air conditioning in the rooms. We were visiting during the summer and didn't want to risk feeling uncomfortable...

Telluride, 199 North Cornet Street 🧭 Map
Coffee was served in the reception at all hours. Bike rental worked out perfectly for us. Thank you!
Great hotel located within walking distance of everything in town. They have a shuttle to run you to the gondola or mountain village. Very clean and great service.
Comfortable, nicely appointed rooms. Handy van shuttle service for town and the Gondola. Pet friendly. Decent breakfast with good fresh fruit!
Dined at the Altezza Restaurant. The staff was attentive, quick, and great about my food allergies. The food was excellent. There was live music and tasteful lighting. The restaurant is encased by windows that I imagine give a great view of the mountains (I was skiing by them earlier in the day) but we ate around 7:30 and it was already dark. All around great experience!
We were not greeted with the most friendly of staff. This was our first time to Telluride and It was a little disappointing. It was also very loud. If you are on vacation and trying to sleep in, this is not the hotel! At least not the first floor. 3rd floor might be different. I'm talking people talking and banging around at 630am every morning.
Update:
The hotel staff called almost immediately in...
Hotel Telluride felt more like a cozy bed & breakfast than a hotel. My husband and I so enjoyed our stay here. The close proximity to Main Street let us walk to everything, and it allowed us to explore without worrying about parking. We loved being able to come back and relax at the end of the day in such a warm, comfortable place.

HIGHLY recommend staying here as it was absolutely perfect. Customer service is top notch (the entire staff) and location was great. Breakfast each morning was delicious and slightly different each day. The closeness to the gondola for stress free skiing was wonderful.
Our family could not have had a better experience from beginning to end. The staff is absolutely incredible and accommodating. The location to ski, eat, and entertainment was beyond our expectations.
We go to Inn at Lost Creek almost every year. We have eaten at Nepal every morning for breakfast. We enjoyed it. Inn at Lost Creek is in Mountain Village above Telluride, Co.
The most amazing hotel I’ve ever stayed in. From the moment you walk out to the memories your reminiscing about everything is perfect. The turndown service at night with the little touches of chocolate were great. The steam room and the tub were the best part of the room. For the past four years Laura and her team have been incredible. The attention to detail is over the top. Fresh baked cookies, wine in our room and the best breakfast in the area. It’s nice seeing familiar faces, Eric, Jenn, Carmine, Val and Martina made us feel at home. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to 2023!!
Spent an absolutely amazing five nights here as the basecamp for our wedding. Highly recommend everything about this place. Mountain Lodge at Telluride

Stayed in one of the cabins with my friends for the weekend. It was absolutely stunning! Amazing views and amenities, including a jet bath in the master suite, a full kitchen, multiple decks, and a grill. We were only a quick walk from the pool, where we received excellent and courteous service from the staff.
Stayed here before and would 10/10 stay here again. There is so much to do in Telluride...
Mountain lodge is the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway up to mountain. Forget the car and enjoy the gondola cabins to reach either Mountain village or Telluride.
If you are not in the mood for any outdoor challeng, relax yourself with a drink close to the swimming pool. A possible negative point the restaurant strange way to manage its patrons.
Stayed here twice in the off-season (May), both times were incredible. The rooms are nice and have a homey feel and the staff is extremely accommodating. Chef Bud did a great job with the catering for over 100 people.
I have stayed here two different times during the off season (May). Both rooms I stayed in were lovely, and the service of the staff is incredible. Special shoutout to Chef Bud for being very welcoming. The view from the pool is awesome, and the location is very amazing, tucked away in the mountain, but still very close to town. Every room has great views and if ever there was an issue, they have people...
Great experience staying at the Mountain Lodge over the weekend! With over 100 guests, the staff and Chef Bud were extremely accommodating and helpful in the organization of our groups weekend. Highly recommend, regardless of the season!

We found Brandon to be super helpful and friendly. They need more like him! Alma, is lazy, rude and unfriendly! When I asked her at 8am if I had missed breakfast she replied, "no, I didn't put much out because the people here waste it"....WHAT?? She's lazy and extremely RUDE! No, I paid for continental breakfast and she needs to get off her butt and put it out for the guests like Brandon did!...
The amenities are fine but it is odd there is no overnight staff at a hotel that can clearly afford one. I played a jazz festival here and the first night I got locked out of my room- took half an hour for the "emergency" phone number person (bless their heart, they shouldn't have to be woken up and driving for someone leaving their card in the room) and the second night I had to bother her for a late...
First time Auberge resident. It has been an amazing customer service experience from the initial booking to check in. Ask for Anna or Pedro. They will make it happen. Worth every penny
Breakfast is disappointing, decent little hotel, but you can hear everyone moving everywhere. Every footstep is really loud
Good free breakfast, great location. It's a little noisy (thin walls) but not too late at night, so sleeping is no problem
Quaint hotel conveniently located to main street Telluride. Breakfast was good but seating is limited. I would recommend grab and go. I will definitely be back in my travels.

Great stay at a fantastic property. Perfect location close to everything and the staff could nit have been more helpful. Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo had everything we needed and the stone jacuzzi was a nice treat after a day out hiking.
The staff is amazing here! By the time you leave, you feel like family! Fresh baked cookies every morning with great coffee! Tuesday evening appetizers with drinks! My grandkids loved the kid room! The rooms are spacious, very well equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds! River and trail right behind the condos. The staff here does everything to make sure you have everything you need, great recommendations...
This residence resort is wonderful. We always enjoy the staff who have been there for a long time. They are so accommodating as well as friendly. The units are spacious and well stocked. They are very comfortable. I would totally recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in town.
A wonderful stay. The rooms are tasteful decorated and the beds are very comfortable.
The staff is exceptional friendly and helpful.
We brought our two dogs and the Unit was prepared for them. It would be helpful to have a swiffer or small vacuum to control the dog hair a little.
The staff at RC was simply incredible. They were friendly, knowledgeable and made sure we had what we needed every day. The valet guy bakes the most delicious cookies every morning. The small fills the halls and is such a sweet way to wake up every day. We were met with a smile every time we were going in and out of the resort. The staff is as good as you will find anywhere and the location is ideal. The restaurant is the finest in town.
Just wrapped up our second visit to Telluride and second stay at Hotel Columbia. Can’t beat the location, gondola across the street and less than 1/2 mile walk (usually less) to all restaurants and shops. Each room is unique and feels home-y. Staff is really wonderful, kind, and helpful. I can say with certainty that we will stay here on all future visits and highly recommend them!
Great hotel in the most convenient location ever! We have been to Telluride several times and this was definitely our favorite stay. Rooms are clean and have everything you need. The breakfast in the morning is a perfect way to start your day before hitting the slopes. The staff is what really sets this place apart. From the front desk, servers, managers, and housekeeping, everyone was friendly, professional...
Great location, literally across the street from the lifts. Easy in/out with skis made it convenient to drop into town for lunch and then back out to slopes. Room was comfortable with very nice breakfast buffet. Highly recommend.
I’ll round up from 4.5 to be nice. $30/day to park is a bit steep considering the price of the room - it should be included. The beds are way too soft if you typically like any kind of firm mattress. Otherwise the rooms and especially bathrooms are very spacious and luxurious. Love heated towel rack!
We stayed with family for 3 days in rooms 40&41. We had a totally wonderful time. The rooms were spacious with a mini-kitchen and loads of windows. The beds were large and comfortable. The weekday reception men went above and beyond. We will definitely return again and again. Thank you Columbia Hotel for an unforgettable time with family.

A beautiful place to stay in Telluride. There is a cute lobby, welcoming staff, and a fire pit out back. Within walking distance is a small shop and a gondola to take either to the mountaintop restaurant or straight into the town of Telluride. Also nearby is a starbucks. A great place to stay for a beautiful view of the mountains!
Lodge was great, two got tubs and a heated pool. The condo we rented was great for ten people. 1 minute walk to mountain tip ski on off. Great shuttle service to get to gondola to get into town. All around a great place to stay.
Clean, comfortable and quiet. The amenities are great. The shuttle puts the gondola and Mountain Village only a minute away. Great location!
Room is lovely and service has been great. Only complaint is the bath seems to be an afterthought. Very small with no counter space.
Clean rooms with extra supplies (towels, tissue), free shuttle service or short trail walk to gondola. Great fitness center and informative friendly desk staff.
I stayed at the Bear Creek Lodge recently on my first trip to Telluride. Initial appearance starting in the lobby is very welcoming. Quick check-in. Doug, the manager, was the most accommodating and customer-friendly person we could have hoped to encounter. We initially ran into a snag with the guy who runs the ski locker room; he was obstinate and unyielding. Lovely place, friendly staff and good sized rooms. Very clean and comfortable - definitely recommend. It’s right in the centre of where you want to be!
Breakfast was the only thing disappointing me. Very few choices. They only had cinnamon rolls, bagels, toasts, yogurt, and cereal. This is by far the best place we have ever stayed in Telluride!!! Fantastic location in the Village core and the staff was excellent. We would highly recommend this place and look forward to going back soon.
We've been going to the Franz Klammer for years. The staff feels like family, can't beat the ski in ski out location, and it's a place to rejuvenate for our family. They always have fresh fruit, teas, and love the eucalyptus saunas and steam rooms :). They also have so many kid friendly games, fishing poles, etc. The room views can be hit or miss which is why I gave it 4 stars.
Overall, it was a decent stay. Upside is the staff and location. Downside was the heat of the room (no A/C) and the disappointing balcony. The staff, as noted elsewhere, is amazing. Fabulous place to stay in Telluride. Perfect location downtown Telluride with easy access to the Gondola, to restaurants, shopping and paths for hiking.
