Courtyard is in the heart of Pigeon Forge. The hotel is clean, staff is very friendly and amenities were plentiful. They have a great heated pool as well as lazy river and hot tub. They also have a Starbucks located in the lobby. They have a huge fireplace in the lobby and a large fireplace outside on the patio great for cool mountain mornings and evenings. Very nice! Friendly, welcoming staff check in/out. The only thing that would have made our room a bit better...some type of night light in the bathroom and some towel racks.. especially if you'd like to reuse your towels. Stayed here on my honeymoon. We booked a suite (#249) and could not have been more pleased. Im not sure why this hotel has such a bad rating. We enjoyed our stay! We rented the two bedroom suite, it was clean and spacious. The hotel was quite and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Fairly large rooms with drawers, desk and closet. Needs a nice chair to sit in; only one desk chair in the room. Nice TV with good selection of channels. The hotel is tucked back off the main road, which in my opinion is good. It’s close enough to walk to restaurants and stores, but hidden enough to enjoy the outside pools and great lounge area with fire pits. Great location to The Island, restaurants and many other shops in walking distance. Nice staff. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Reasonably priced. However, there is a lot of wear and tear that is under renovation. Floor in room was somewhat dirty but everything was in good working order. Some furniture needs updating. For a pet friendly older hotel, it wasn't bad.

For the location and price this is a great place to stay. Not really fancy or upper crust but affordable for us that appreciates a good value. Would recommend to anyone that's not more interested in show than utility.

Just needed a place to sleep... The room was fine... The lighting in the bathroom was a lil dark and the metal sheeting under the bed would pop so that was annoying. BUT, the room had a fridge, microwave, the bed was comfy, and it was clean. The staff at check in and check out was super nice.
