I really liked the location of this lodge, considering we spent a day of our vacation tubing at River Rat down the street. The lodge is designed really well. They seem to keep up well on landscaping and cleanliness of the pools/hottub. Our lock to our door was very unsecure with loose screws which would make it very easy to break in. Stayed for one night for a weekend getaway with my family. The property is older, but recently renovated and well maintained. The rooms were clean and orderly. The breakfast was excellent and the location is beautiful near Cades Cove. I would highly recommend and we will be back!

We found the hotel to be older but redone not too long ago. Room was clean. Bedding and towels looked new. Mattress and pillows were comfortable. We just needed a room to sleep in so we didn't need anything extra. The location was perfect for us to get to Cades Cove early & its directly across the street from a great restaurant. My only 2 issues were after walking around the room my feet were black! So I had to keep shoes on, & the water never got hot in the shower just warm.

I enjoyed my stay at Highland Manor Inn. We were there for 4 nights. The front desk/office and housekeepers were very friendly. The housekeepers visited our room each day supplying fresh towels and making our bed. I enjoy being able to support local businesses. The area of Townsend is absolutely gorgeous. My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary this past weekend and enjoyed our stay immensely! The hotel was very clean and everyone was extremely friendly. It is so quiet on the property, we slept with our windows open at night. We will definitely be back very soon. .

My mother has been bringing me and my sister here every summer for as long as I can remember. So so many memories with the Highland Manor. We never have anything to say against it. Very clean rooms, nice pool, playground and propane grills with picnic tables. Yes it is a little dated but cleaner than most newer hotels. Very friendly check in staff. We also loved how you parked right in front of your room. Gives peace of mind when driving an expensive car. Only negative was breakfast doesn't start till 8 and we had to leave at 7:30.

I have absolutely no complaints the rooms were very clean and very quiet and the beds were comfy I will definitely be staying here again

We had a wonderful stay at The Dancing Bear Lodge! It’s a very special and fantastic lodge in Townsend. Our last stay was 14 years ago and we enjoyed it as much as the last time.

Our meal was exceptional last night at Dancing Bear. Our server Aileen made us feel like royalty while we were there. I absolutely loved this place. It was peaceful and cozy, the beds were so comfy I didn’t want to get out of the sheets in the morning. The area around the cabins is beautiful, the staff were super nice. We were here for a wedding but now my gf and I want to come back just to explore the surrounding area some more.

Everything about the cabin is 5 stars except it is extremely close to other cabins. You can see perfectly onto your neighbor's deck and you can hear your neighbor's anytime they are outside. Beautiful place, but not quite private enough for me.

Our family stayed in Wild Briar. The 16 bedroom Chalet with pool was fantastic! Location was very close to the strip. The owners of this cabin left no stone unturned. There was adequate supplies, appliances, cookware etc. Leigh Ann's customer service was stellar. We plan to stay with Hearthside again for our next stay!

Stayed a week in a cabin at the Preserves. Great views from up there. Highly recommend staying there, we even saw one bear running around one evening.

Star watching from the hot tub after summer sunset around 10pm let’s the ambient temp drop enough for the soak to be comfy!
