The location for us was fantastic. The pools, water slides and lazy river make the property so unique. Spa is not fully open as it’s under major renovation however our multiple massages were all amazing

The open patio is spacious for the family dinner. The side pool down the street is perfect for the little ones. The main pool on the property is a blast for everyone

As of this post, the hotel was in the process of some construction but was never intrusive or disruptive. The hotel is magnificent but the furnishings, while exceptionally clean and comfortable, showed their age a bit

It’s near the Four Seasons which is also gorgeous, but the layout of the Grand Wailea is unmatched. It essentially hugs the beach and spills right out onto it. The staff absolutely lives up to the hotel’s beauty

My family have been coming here since I was a child. I am speaking from someone who stays at the condo property. Big beautiful hoses enough room for the big family. The kitchen is my favorite part of the house

We had an amazing room with a garden view, you really can’t get a bad room here. The hotel also had beautiful Hawaiian statues throughout, and did an amazing job embracing that Hawaiian culture in it

We stayed here for our honeymoon a few weeks ago and we loved it so much we ended up extending our stay another night! The rooms were fantastic (we had garden view but could still see part of Wailea beach) and the pools (there are several) were amazing

We booked a garden room but it had a really good view of the ocean too. The pools are well maintained and clean. The property has so much to do and the service is generally good

Kids pool was fantastic as was the other pool offerings. The outrigger experience didn’t disappoint. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable for our stay

They even brought everyone complimentary ice cream at the pool while we were there. Would definitely stay here again next time we come to Maui

There were some issues with the tv in our room but compensated for it. On our last day we spent some time making leis by the aloha sign. The one thing we didn’t like is the parking situation

Lots to do in and around the Four Seasons Resort Maui hotel property, the pool and poolside cafe bars were great, beach was fun, and everyone was sincerely enjoying themselves. Views from the hotel were spectacular

The views were fantastic and the property was beautifully landscaped. Pool seating was not a problem!

Great rooms no matter where you are located. We had macadamia encrusted mahi mahi and filet, they were absolutely amazing. This is right on the beach! The service is fantastic!

This is not something you’d ever expect from a 5 star resort while you’re on vacation let alone at a Four Seasons Resort. Otherwise I would’ve gladly given the service a 5 star because everyone else was phenomenal

Giving it 4 stars because there were roosters outside of my room that woke me up everyday at 4:00 am. And when I asked to change room they didn’t really do anything g about it, they just offered me some earplugs

Let’s say this was pretty embarrassing and something you don’t want your small children to see. Unfortunately this ruined the last day stay for me as I was having an incredible time there prior to that

We were already stressed out trying to figure out what our options would be but as least we did not have worry about where to stay. Especially Karla Vega was very accommodating, understanding and flexible

The renovated rooms are beautiful and clean. The hospitality staff were efficient and the suites are spacious to accommodate families

Having access to the car service was useful for us to get to restaurants and the shopping mall. It is our favorite resort to stay in Maui. We look for to visiting again

Pools were not a scene during our visit, and there were a lot of kids, so using the adult pool was an absolute must for our enjoyment. Activities on property were also abundant if you did your own research

This is easily the best hyatt property we have stayed. Loved the infinity pools and getting a massage at the spa is a must which was excellent

I've been there for dinner a few times. It's a nice place, friendly staff. I haven't seen the rooms, but have heard they're a little small, as it was converted from old condo units. Play at the beach, sleep in the room.

Amazing stay at this beautiful property. The warm welcome (with refreshing lavender lemonade), the comfortable room in the Tranquility wing, and the amazing staff all combined for an incredible stay.

They upgraded our room to an ocean view room and even gave us champagne and chocolates. Everything was luxurious and room was pretty high tech. I would recommend the luau at the property as well

Had a breakfast before and dinner there Breakfast was great. Dinner so so with inattentive service. Nice beach and valets are cool about parking there

It’s a beautiful resort, the pool area is great. We went in off peak season so was able to get a spot to sit by the pool each time

If looking for a family friendly place on South Maui with great beaches, great views, uncrowded pools, excellent golf, and plenty of opportunities for star gazing, Ekolu Village is the place!

Way nicer than the Airbnb pictures showed. We stayed with another family of 3 and we had separate bathrooms dedicated to each bedroom. The view was amazing and it was a quick walk to the shops at Wailea or the beach

AC is a bit noisy but it put me to sleep really easy so that's a plus. I generally stay in cheap hostels. To the point fam don't want to travel with me. So this is a huge upgrade for me

Heated jacuzzi was nice in the evening, and pool was great to cool down in the day

Big room with everything you could need. Good shower, washing machine and tumble drier are available and they provide you with a box of tide powder with more on request

They have a full kitchenette which is very useful but the place seems a little outdated and the mattress was super soft and not that comfortable.

Condos are great and the gardens are beautiful. The HOA is very strict and will enforce quiet hours and pool rules but the rules aren't difficult to follow.

Love this place! Awesome complex and would definitely recommend both to families and couples. Super close walking distance from the beach (casual beaches w good snorkeling) and also a short drive to Wailea

It’s a short walk to the beach and a few good restaurants. It’s very central and getting around the island was easy from here. Would highly recommend the complex and we plan on returning next year! The Mayer’s

We loved our stay at Maui Kamole. We were first timers in Maui and our Condo was wonderful. The unit D202 was clean, quiet and although we didn’t have an ocean view, the scenery was beautiful

It's an excellent location for families and most of the rental units have everything you need, including boogie boards, lawn chairs and all the sand toys

I totally recommend coming with a group and staying in different condos, it’s so comfortable and laid back

Spacious apartment with a full kitchen. Balcony equipped with BBQ grill and a couple propane tanks. Pool is a good size with hot tub. Try to book one with air conditioning in the living area as it can get pretty stuffy

We had amazing hosts at this condo rental. There is a communal pool and hottub and it's a quick walk down the hill to the beaches. Rooms include fully stocked kitchens, BBQs, lounge chairs, sitting areas, wifi and TV

Great location! Lots of walking/running trails on the beach. Odd onSuite with holes in the tile. Definitely 90's style but nice upgraded kitchen. Pool was too packed the whole time but we prefer the beach anyway

Nice spacious rooms. Most have a decent view. Close the pool and hot tub and has great areas to watch the sunset.

Maybe its because we're from TX but we had to turn the AC down when we arrived. Make sure to take a drive to the National Park for some great surf just 15min South and to the Northwest Coast for some great snorkeling!

We absolutely loved it! It was spacious and very clean. There is AC in only the bedroom area which we were fine with for the most part because the windows in the whole unit will open

The villas are close to the The Shops at Wailea where you can find places to grab a meal. The concierges Scott and David were helpful in making excursion and Dinner reservations at the Grand Wailea

We definitely will use this spot again. Our condo was clean on a high floor with beautiful views. The grounds are lush and well maintained with friendly staff around

Only thing missing is a full length mirror in the condo and I wished the adult pool was a bit deeper

Great location in Wailea. Cozy pool, great service on the beach. Only complaints are a couple shoddy kitchen appliances and little bit of a hike to the beach. Didn't really mind the walk, however.

We stayed in a villa which was spacious and had a full, beautiful kitchen, plus a high quality grill available on the lanai. The hosts provided all the home conveniences our family of four would need

The manager is hands down one of the nicest people I’ve ever met! The other front desk people I can’t say the same about, the women were muted and cold and made us feel like such an imposition with not only the issues we had, but even things like checking out the tennis rackets or asking questions

More details below: (Reason for the 3 stars) The rooms were dated, although some updates had been done and the kitchens were nice, there was still old lighting fixtures, curtains, and it just had a bit of an old time feel to it

The hotel organises mai-tai afternoons and it just has a very relaxed atmosphere. The hotel's apartments are quite spread out so the complex is rather big. It includes smoking areas and grill stations

The manager was thankfully there most of the time and literally saved the moment each time. The guy at the front desk was pleasant but unfortunately only there a few times during the week we stayed

The rooms are very large and can accommodate a lot of people, the beaches nearby were better than the beaches at Kaanapali, but I would not recommend this place for anyone with children under 4

Real keys instead of cards so if you lose one you get charged an $85 fee (the manager was kind enough to waive ours because of some issues we had). There is no food on site whatsoever

The toiletries were fantastic and I actually took a picture to purchase that same brand once I get home. The pool area, hot tub area, all great

Beautiful place make you feel like home! The air conditioner is great! It’s really nice to have kitchen but a bit of cooking oil would be amazing! The location is very convenient, there’s mall beside it and walking distance to the beach! This area is very quiet and you won’t feel surrounded by hotels!

The check in was confusing, because you actually need to go to the strip mall a few stops before you get to your designation, which is where the office is. Everything else from there is smooth sailing

We've been to Maui multiple times before, but always stay on our Resort on the West side. This time we decided to spend the week before our resort on other places on the island

Golf course surrounded residencies conveniently located from local shops, resorts with easy public access to sea side jogging track and beautiful beaches.

The property is GREAT, the Villas, AMAZING. I felt right at home the minute I walked in. Beautiful, homey, decorated awesome

Came here with family and got two rooms. Had a kitchen inside which we didn’t end up using. The breakfast had lots of good options. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and sitting by the fire at night

They have grills available if you choose to use them. The location is a little distant from the beach but makes up for it with a nice pool and a shuttle that will take you to the nearest beach

They compare thousands of booking websites and typically will have rooms much cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This place is one of my favorites in this area. I've been staying here for a very long time

A very popular hotel here in Wailea. I like the concept as it comes with a full kitchen and you can save a lot of money between the complimentary breakfast each morning and buying your own food

If you stay for a few days you definitely won't be disappointed. We had a fantastic time staying here and would definitely recommend it to others

The staff was friendly, check-in/out was easy, the resort was extremely well kept, and the rooms were clean and modern

We were a multigenerational group ranging from 2-68 years and found the Villa to be a perfect choice. The pool at Hoolei and the slides at Grand Wailea provided endless entertainment

I ordered lunch to our pool chairs most days - great kids menu and fresh salads for me. I used the well equipped Ho’olei gym and was tempted by the outdoor cycle classes at the Grand Wailea

I loved it!!! The villas were very clean and the kitchens were fully stocked with dishes for days! Overall I loved the experience and would highly recommend these villas to anyone who wants a private space with great views and amazing amenities

This was our 3rd visit to Ho’olei at the Grand Wailea, we love it. We always make sure to book through Grand Wailea to ensure resort privileges. Our children are 11, 13 and 15 and they had a ball on the water slides

The food options were good and prices reasonable given the location. Room service directly to the Villas would have been nice. Currently one has to go to lobby of the Grand Wailea to pick up the food

There are also many areas for smaller children. The apartment was enormous, luxurious and the best equipped rental we have ever stayed in. We were able to get provisions easily at the Wailea shops

Fantastic location away from high rise crowds. Just steps from sandy beach, snorkeling, swimming pool and hot tub. Tennis and pickleball courts on property as well as workout room if you are so inclined

Sometimes you can walk out into the surf and be standing right next to a sea turtle. There is good snorkeling just next to the beach and your groups come every day. In winter, you can see whales from shore

Awesome place to stay. The best snorkeling area on the island is just steps away. The condo we rented for the week was well maintained. The view from the condo was fantastic.

Surrounded by tropical gardens with herb gardens for guests to pick. Perfectly situated to view sunsets. Short drive to shopping and restaurants

Makena Surf is an exceptional place to stay. Right on the shore with easy beach access makes this place awesome!!

Go out early to snorkel in calm waters, afternoon to boogie board in a bit rougher waters

Even though we had torrential rain for our entire trip (sub optimal indeed) the beauty of the place and the whales in the distance made our holiday restful and easy

the pool and hot tub utilities are very well kept and clean. there is a very beautiful view throughout. the greenery and plants throughout the resort are very luxurious

At the time of this writing we are still enjoying the village. We love the two pools, grilling area and a two minute walk to the private beach!

While the unit was a large one bedroom with two bathrooms, it had multiple issues which included but was not limited to, lots of mildew under the caulking around the tub, cupboards and shower doors that didn’t close properly or stay closed, dated and old leaky appliances and a bed headboard that banged the wall hard every time you moved on the bed

The grounds themselves are beautiful and there is very easy access to the beach and to a walking path along the water connecting to all of the hotels. The unit we were in was another matter

The unit was clean to the extent that it could be, this is not a negative review of the cleaning staff as they did a great job on replenishing supplies and cleaning

The pool, hot tub, and grounds were immaculate. Parking is underneath the building and out of the sun. Our rental unit was managed by Destination Residences

Nice location, sharing a public beach with the Fairmont resort. Condo has an excellent view and is well kept. Pool and spa is very nice and fairly quiet. Overall a great experience.

True Paradise, In Every Way! What isn’t there to love about this place? The view (the patio was feet from the beach!), the amenities, the on-site staff, the atmosphere…perfect. Our family had the most wonderful time

The condo was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to make it feel like a home-away-from-home, and Andy and Mary at the front desk were so helpful and friendly (and so kind to our kids!)

While being the first condo property in this part of Wailea, the architect who designed it really did a good job. Polo Beach Club has just about the perfect beach, just steps away
