It was a bit pricey but we were limited on options, which I think they probably rely on. It was pet friendly at $25/dog per night and the room had a slider door to outside, which was super convenient. The room was not the cleanest, had old coffee in the machine and cigarette butts outside the door. Considering things were out of order; no pool, no vending machines, no elevator, it should have been...

Waldport is an odd little town. The hotel itself is run down looking in the exterior. Pool non functional. No restaurant. Location is cool. My room was clean but others don't seem to have the same experience. Staff is minimal but helpful. We were there to crash one night while traveling up the coast. It was not crowded and I can't imagine how they stay in business.

I have stayed at many hotels and resorts this year and I have never been around a better group of people than the customer service at Alsi resort! The manager was above amazing, my family was with me and all we have to say is thanks so much. Amazing views, Very clean room, new restaurant was charming and the night campfire will always be remembered and we as a family will definitely be back!

Fantastic customer service... Overall it was a wonderful trip... We were told that the pool was heated to 85 degrees and it was actually super cold... That is the only reason for the 4 star rating.... Other then that they were awesome!

Great welcome from reception when we arrived, very helpful with where to eat. Room was great, had everything we needed very clean and the bed was super comfortable with good quality linen. A great night's sleep in a great little Inn.

I have stayed here several times and the rooms are clean and comfy. I just stayed two nights and the only complaint I have is when the staff person left at 9:00 pm he proceeded to burn off his tires in his mustang all the way out of the parking lot and down the road. If he was trying to look cool he wasn’t. Who does that at their place of employment? . It was unsafe and ridiculous!

This motel was spotlessly clean. The rooms clearly have been remodeled and the whole place is in very good condition. We were extremely happy with our clean, quiet room with a very comfortable bed. Rooms are better soundproofed than most hotels in Newport. We have stayed at many others in Newport and we believe this hotel is top notch. We will stay here next time we are visiting Newport. Also a very nice morning breakfast was available.

When we made reservations they said there was only a 2 Queen beds, nonsmoking room available. But there were barely any cars. I think we got jipped into a higher priced room. The hot tub was down. It was very busy and not a great amount of noise isolation from the room above. Indoor pool and hot tub allow for relaxing even if the weather is bad. This hotel is being fixed up and is really looking good! The managers are friendly and helpful. The suites are spacious and tastefully decorated. I will be coming back again and again!

Courteous and kind staff, best staff for a motel we have ever experienced. Helped us into the room and made it infinitely more comfortable for our stay. We felt phenomenally well taken care of by these folks! For what we had, we considered ourselves blessed, they took extra care of us and were extremely helpful and supportive. Staying here was such a nice and relaxing experience! Luckily the weather was good so that I was able to enjoy the view as well as the sunshine. I loved being able to sit on the deck, drinking my tea, and say good morning to people that walked by. As far as the condo went, it was clean and stocked up with the necessities. I would love to stay here again!

Location and building was beautiful and clean, staff was friendly and professional. The rooms they have are all condo style with kitchen well stocked with anything you would need, and the room was updated with all the touches to make it feel like home. The Landing at Newport was like home away from home. Not only is the property well kept up, the condos are well appointed so you can easily prepare meals and enjoy the view. In addition, the staff is over the moon when it comes to being friendly and accomodating. You can tell their efforts are genuine and they are not just "doing their job." Great room. Comfy king bed. Also had a pull-out available in room if needed. Microwave and mini-fridge in room. Had a great breakfast each day: they make scrambled eggs, sausages, have a waffle maker, cereal, fruit, coffee, juice. Way more than a take-back bag! First off, location is pretty fantastic. Parking lot was free to park and large. Front desk service was quick. Our room was standard but the beds and pillows are what my dreams are made of. This was a very nice place to stay. The property appears very well taken care of and the room was in pristine condition. Lots of security cameras visible and didn't see any of the local riff raff hanging around. Huge tv in the room as well.

Clean, renovated room. Much nicer inside than it looks on the outside. My only complaints are it's a little noisy being so close to the highway (but nothing they can do about that), and the WiFi is slow. Otherwise, great place to stay! It was reasonably quiet. The lobby smelled odd, and there was some fan in the room that was kinda loud when it was running. There was some apparent water leaks from the room above. The breakfast was not that great. However it was cheap, and reasonably quiet.

It was fine, no tv guide or sleep function on tv, hot water came from cold side of handle. Complimentary breakfast is a joke but so is 90 of all hotels free breakfast. I would stay here again no big complaints

Reception was friendly and the beach is close. The room was dirty. Found food under the bed, the shower door doesn't stay closed the lock is broken. Hand towel hanging up was dirty so was the microwave and bedding. The shower facet is wrong hot is really cold and cold is really hot. Neighbors below were moving things around making quite a bit of noise. Not the nicest of places.

I liked the desk manager immediately,...kind and friendly too,...nice clean room,...great value for the dollar,..the negative postings here, are just...silly.,...it's not the hilton hotel people!...$63 for a night?...super value,...7 minutes to the historic bayshore...!...awesome!

Newport City Center Motel is an ok place to stay for a single evening while traveling. The location is pretty good, right on the 101 and near a nice beach. Rooms are comfortable, if somewhat lacking. The WiFi was having issues, going in and out for the duration of our stay.

Old and a little on the dingy side, but perfect for the price of $49 when you've been driving all night. I heard they're going to start renovating the up stairs rooms soon, so the prices might go up but hopefully so will the accommodations. Guy at the reception desk was really friendly and informative. Would stay again coming through this way. Can't beat the low price.

Great price, employees are friendly and not the worst accommodations, but there's no A/C, the Internet is spotty, and there are a lot of little cleanliness/maintenance things that need improvement.
