The breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect. Didn’t have to drive far to get to any of my destinations. The hotel bar was wonderful and stocked with everything I asked for.

Nice hotel. Usual imperfections in rooms do to usage over time. No fridge in room. We had a river view room and the view was great of the cape fear river and the USS North Carolina. Nice pool with live music daily. Bar by the pool to purchase drinks. Towels provided. Hotel had an indoor bar which was decent. I think the place is overpriced. Must pay for parking $17/day.

I stayed at this hotel in July 2023. I had two!!! King size rooms. My night sleep was horrible. I couldn’t sleep because it smelled as something was dead in the room. I search the room and couldn’t find anything; as I got up that morning I start sniffing the mattress because it was bothering me and I found a huge stained on the head of the mattress that was causing the problem. Went with a friend who just signed a lease as a long-term renter. I feel that for $750 a month you can get much more bang for your buck. You can rent an efficiency at Campus Edge for 600 and it is much nicer and more furnished. I think they should stick to renting rooms by the night

The front building is currently being renovated/changed. However the Inn that is in operation is located behind the main building. Just drive around back. Centrally located, easy to get to and from with a low cost. If you are just looking for a clean decent place to stay for not a lot of money, this is your destination.

Everything was decent as far as a regular motel room...had a hard time to get the hot water going in the shower but overall very clean.

The first we go had something going on with the electric blinds. Called Tom down at the front desk and he came up and changed the batteries. When that didn't work he changed our room to right across the hall. Easy move and the rest went smoothly. Missed the breakfast I had to pay for from sleeping in. This hotel is in a great location and very convenient for shopping, restaurants (go try Brixx), a movie theater, walking/running paths, and it's not far from the beach. Hotel itself is fine, even if a bit pricey. Plenty of free parking and the staff were all very friendly. The only annoyance is that the main entrance to Mayfaire is on a very busy highway and there's no traffic light, so getting out can be hard, especially if you're turning left.

Very clean and in excellent condition. Service was outstanding. Front desk clerks were especially great. House keeping staff were working very hard, but our room wasn't cleaned until after 5pm after our first night there. There didn't seem to be enough of them scheduled to work.

Nice place. It is an extended stay hotel. Our room was just a 2 bed suite and we still had a full size refrigerator and a 2 burner stove plus a dishwasher. We had an emergency visit to Wilmington NC last weekend. Upon arrival, several Hampton Inn hotels were booked up. At the last one we tried we encountered this wonderful person Becky!. We got to the hotel late (trip too longer than expected) but as a Hilton rewards member ,i had pre-checkin, so when we got there everything was ready for my family. The staff was so friendly. The customer service at this hotel is some of the best I've ever experienced. Annie was wonderful when I checked into the hotel. Two other ladies at the front desk who were so helpful and kind. Wonderful suites. Great breakfast. We loved that the living room and bedroom are separated by a door that could be completely closed. My large family stayed here recently over several days to attend my grandfather's funeral. The hotel staff could not have been more accommodating and we really appreciated their hospitality. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

We happened to be in the handicap room, the difference is that there is no couch and no bath tub. Room temperature was set to 68° that was too cold. Service is great, very friendly and knowledgeable. For some reason you have to be 25 to stay in this hotel.

There was mold on the bathroom ceiling, hair and dust visible on the hair dryer, dust around the edges of the beds. My family and I stayed here in June of 2022. Our room was clean, spacious, and the beds were super comfortable. They have a happy hour during the week with appetizers and drinks, which was awesome! Stayed only a night because of a business trip but it was excellent. I live 4.5 hours away and was going to check in really late. They assured me I’d be okay to do so. When I got there at 12:30am the front desk employee was very very helpful. I got to my room which was already very cool and I slept like a baby. Everything worked. Everything was clean. Perfect.

The room was great. The bed was comfy, the walk in shower was spacious and the room was very clean. The breakfast was more than we expected. Food was good and staff was really friendly.

The location of the hotel was great. Off of a main road with lots of restaurants and shops. The room and bathroom were clean. TV was larger than expected which was nice . Bed was comfy. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast with omelette/sauges/gritz. Staff was nice . I would stay again if I’m in the area.

This has to be one of the cleanest hotels we stayed at during our east coast vacation. We were so impressed that we chose another Best Western as we traveled down the coast. This hotel really has that luxury feeling at a pretty reasonable rate.

Great location near Downtown Wilmington. The check in was quick and easy. The rooms are simple, but not the cleanest. The carpet was stained and it looked as if it hadn't been vacuumed. There was also a odd smell in the room. The carpets throughout the hotel were stained as well.

This hotel was extremely clean, comfortable. The staff were so friendly. They answered all my questions as to how long it would take me to get where I needed to go and where to eat. I would recommend this hotel.

Very satisfied with my stay at this location. Easy access and check in. Very friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Occasional traffic noise from College Rd but not bad. Other than that, probably one of the quietest stays I have experienced. The complimentary breakfast was good. Quick, easy checkout. I will probably select this location again when visiting this area.

Stayed here this past September and had no problems. The room was brand new and clean. Was in a good location, near everything. Was going to stay there again next week, but just got a call canceling due to unforeseen circumstances. Liz however was great and found me another hotel nearby and she saved the day! Nice to know there are still caring people in the world that want their clients to be happy...

Our room was great. The location was great. The best thing about this stay was how wonderful the manager was when we left our son's bag of toys! Not only did they ship the bag super quickly, they left a sweet note from a sea turtle thanking my son for letting them play with his toys. They added a bunch of jolly ranchers from the "sea turtles". They really went the extra mile and having that package...

Outside does not do justice for the rooms. At first I was a little worried but our room was gorgeous. Seemed to be newly updated! Loved the barn doors! Beds were comfortable and the AC worked great!
