El Pradet in El Serrat

Reservation made for a double room, we found ourselves in a crappy twin room, being told that the hotel was full (while the next day another employee told us that it was not full). I said a rotten room, just renovated in a hurry to hide the misery that was nevertheless very present, with furniture dating from Methuselah. The view out the window, absolutely magnificent: No view, but a wall. Oh yes, also an oil tank on the side and piping. In short, a real prison room. Impossible to sleep because of no sound insulation. You can hear everything that happens in the hallway and in the 3 closest bedrooms. We live to the rhythm of slamming doors, running water and bars of soap falling into neighboring showers that make you jump. As incredible as it may seem, there is no power outlet in the room. Only 1 in the bathroom. When asking at reception, we were told that all of them are like that. I can't believe it. And we also say that we don't have any power strips or extension cords to lend us. A light globe on the bedroom ceiling with around fifty dead flies in it. In the morning when we left we of course didn't say anything (because it would have been useless) and strangely also the receptionist didn't ask us how the night had gone. Parking is certainly free, but along the road, and when there is no space (which is always the case when arriving late) it is in a public car park about a hundred meters away. For the deposit, no prepayment authorization was made on a bank card, the receptionist simply took down the numbers of my bank card. How much would she have been able to withdraw without the customer being informed and what means of recourse in the event of a problem? This is why this practice is illegal (in France).

NADA RECOMENDABLE! Fuimos la noche del 21 al 22 de enero de 2023 y el chico que estava en recepción sobre las 00.30h de la noche nos dió solo una targeta por habitación y después de pedirle varias veces que necesitábamos 2 una para mi pareja y otra para mi porque queria salir por la noche a tomar algo, se negó a darnos 2 tarjetas y me decia que si queria entrar a la habitación mientras mi pareja dormia que se lo dijera a él y vendria a abrirme. Le dije que habia pagado habitación para dos y que me tenia que dar 2 tarjetas para abrir la puerta y siguió negándose... Yo no tengo que dar explicaciones a ningún recepcionista de cuando entro y salgo de mi habitación por la que estoy pagando. Repito que insistí varias veces y siguió negándose, por eso voy a decir que a sido el peor servicio que e visto nunca en un hotel.
