InterContinental Adelaide by IHG
Adelaide, North Terrace 🧭 Map
Staff more than helpful. Location to football grounds very close. Breakfast was plentiful and range of food excellent. Room was standard with pool view and glimpse of River.
We had a wonderful stay at the Intercontinental. The room was beautiful and the location was excellent.... especially for staying for the footy. Public transportation is easily accessible and also close by. The buffet breakfast was excellent as well and we could each eat on our own time. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Adelaide.
The hotel has a great reputation and while it is very nice and the staff are great, it is not quite as nice as we expected. The rooms are smaller than the pictures suggest. We stayed 2 nights and the restaurant was closed. Not bad overall, but better value can be found nearby.
Super convenient well located Hotel in Adelaide. We were down for a conference next door, no issues with check in and check out, bags were held no problems. Staff were friendly. The rooms are very spacious but are most probably in need of a refresh now, I’ve used this hotel for 10 years and I can’t remember a change. New carpet or couch in the room would help. Will stay again though because the convenience...
Arrived for a business meeting and convenor was running late. Went to the bistro and ordered a hot Latte. Perfect. Great service from Ash who was extremely friendly and efficient. Great area for a lunch or a drink. I had forgotten how nice it was. Valet parking at the front were warm and friendly. Great work intercontinental!!
Wow and just wow! Friendly Staff make such a difference and they did incredible work: from checking in to checking out- super helpful and friendly. Hotel itself is well located, close to everything yet very peaceful surroundings. Beds are very comfortable and the showers are fantastic! Great water pressure that makes a huge difference. All in all very pleasant stay- I will be back for sure.

I loved my stay at the Stamford. The lady on the desk AJ was friendly and helpful and helped me with an upgrade. Thr coffee wax great to.
Very good location accessible to almost everything , tram , taxi , bus and railway . Near from the ever busy Rundle Mall and many tourist attractions .
Stamford Plaza Adelaide is at superb location very convenient for travelling in city.
Nice room but the lift is so slow, we were staying at Level 15 and had to wait for 20min to get to the lobby as only one lift was working. And the breakfast is very average, no full buffee as their claimed. I could not even get the fried eggs 😂
Great location , right opposite the ****** and railway station Also a few steps from Rundle mall Have stayed many times in here! Love it
Facilities were a bit dated but fine and clean. Was an issue with the lifts in the morning and was taking a long time to service floors, ended having to use the stairs. Was expecting a long line up for checkout as a result but reception was empty so idea what was going on with the lifts. Check in had a long line up too at 1430 on a Saturday but least they got through us all quickly.

Best location for going to central market, Rundle mall or Chinatown. Lots of food around and right next to the tram station. Beautiful stay and my family loves the breakfast.
Located at Adelaide city centre with much choices of restaurants, hotel room is in good condition and neat. But a bit old of the decoration, everything is fine. The ground floor restaurant is good and with great choices of wine.
Average experience with the price you pay. Will explore competitors next time.
Very grateful got free upgrade to King Hilton Deluxe, but the shower and air-conditioning wasn’t good enough.
Good location, but they don’t have own parking which is inconvenient and the amenities are bit old.
Room was pretty basic for 5 star. No need of big study desk for family in room, better would be having couch/sofa. Pool was nice but couldn't find any changing room. The views were good of Victoria square and the lighted Christmas tree and hills. Breakfast was great with lot of options. Parking was non existent and even on $25 per night the option was 350 m away and can only go inside one time...

A good short stay, was there for a transit flight and next day morning flight. Good place :)
Location - In the heart of the CBD area and within walking distance of the main sights. Additionally, the main mall is located next to the hotel, which features a supermarket within its premises. Room - Clean, but the room window doesn't open. Not a big deal, but something you should know if you like ventilation. I would stay here again.
Clean and comfortable hotel in a wonderful location, a short and pleasant walk to many of the Adelaide centre's main sights including Rundle mall, the university, and the art gallery, and a short and quite direct ride by public transport to everything else including the airport and Glenelg beach. Super friendly and helpful staff, great bed, nice TV, clean bathroom, cool views! Thank you ibis adelaide
Everything was perfect. Only couple of mark was on the bed sheet. Front desk staff is amazing.
So glad I chose this place. They’ve thought of every little detail down to sunscreen at the front exit and ice provided in a vacuum sealed bag because the buckets had run out! Every staff member smiled and was personable. The room was perfect and view incredible. I will for sure be back!
The hotel is just one street away from the pedestrian street, making shopping incredibly convenient. Airport shuttle buses J1 and J2 stop right at the bus station in front of the hotel. The hotel itself is clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the breakfast is quite good. The staff are warm, attentive, and patient.

We are Accor Gold plus members and always stay in Accor properties. We stayed at Peppers for our 2nd Anniversary. We were very surprised at the bottle of sparkling wine and lovely note. It is our wedding anniversary and my wife and I couldn’t be more happier with the stay and the quality of service we received. Stayed here for 3 nights and the room were very clean and the staff were all nice. Special mention to Rodel and Ivan from housekeeping, Lucy at the guest services and Ian from Tutto Restaurant. Went over and beyond. Kudos to them. The place is situated at the centre of the...
I recently stayed at Peppers Waymouth Adelaide, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore Adelaide’s attractions, restaurants, and shopping precincts. The rooms are spacious, modern, and immaculately clean, with comfortable beds and all the amenities you’d expect from a premium hotel. I particularly appreciated...
I had a great stay at Peppers Waymouth Adelaide. The room was comfortable and clean making it easy to relax during my visit. The only issue was in the middle of night one of the cabinets just fell off the wall. The standout, however, was the service. Madisson was professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. Her friendly approach made the experience even better. Overall, a very...
Upon arrival I was checked in promptly and given an room upgrade on the top floor. Front Desk staff were very helpful over the 4 night stay. My stay at Peppers was fantastic. The hotel is clean, beautiful, and very comfortable, with a great location. Housekeeping was outstanding and kept everything spotless. My expectations were definitely met with the room. I recently stayed at the Pullman Hotel Adelaide and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! Everything from the cleanliness of the hotel to its fantastic location exceeded my expectations. From the time the Uber dropped me off, till the next day when the service driver pick me up, the customer service at this resort was outstanding! Staff are fantastic. Indoor Pool, Sauna, Steam room, Spa and gym. Restaurant looks lovely and the menu looks good. Decided to eat elsewhere. Lunch room service was excellent and fast. Rooms aren't the largest. The shower was filthy. Which is why I gave the room 1 star. For the price of the room I would've expected a higher quality of cleanliness.
Rooms are good, spacious and comfortable, 2 adults and 1 child, and had a roll out bed, only drawback being we were charged $50 per night for that. For a suite upgrade we probably would have been better to get a double room. Restaurant food (Salt) was very nice. Executive lounge was excellent Location is outstanding
Newish Pullman with the usual standard of luxury, ambience, accommodation and food offerings. Excellent, central position. Perfect for the Adelaide experience.

I was happy with my stay at BreakFree and would recommend the apartment. The place was clean and bright and well equiped with kitchen and laundry facilities. The Manager and Receptionists were very helpful and polite. Thank you for making my stay pleasant.
A nice place to stay, check in and out very smooth with lovely staff. Apartment had everything we needed. Just wish there was a restaurant/bar on site.
Great location and the rooms are quite reasonable for the cost. The cleanliness of the room is not great, I found beard clippings on the bathroom wall upon check-in. What's worse, the cleaning staff for my room didn't have their mind in the job by the looks, I could only imagine they dropped my toiletry bag accidentally but didn't pick up everything and put them back in the bag. Very clean clean and good and quiet Close the city Staff are nicely
I have stayed at many YHAs across Australia, but this one was the worst experience and very disappointing. I had to go to the front desk several times just to check in. The staff gave me the wrong room, and then my card couldn’t open the door twice. The staff was not friendly and seemed cold. The shower rooms on the ground floor didn’t work, so I had to go upstairs to use it. It was very inconvenient
Nicely located within Adelaide CBD, walking distance to Central Market, Chinatown, Rundle street.
Great location of this hostel, as usual for YHA hostels. It was close to the city centre, restaurants and bars. Hostel had good facilities as well. I stayed in a female dorm and everything was clean. Bathrooms were a bit old, but other than that everything was ok. Staff was very, very nice as well.
the kitchen is cleaned 2-3 times a day, great stovetop cooking facilities, rice cooker, adequate utensils, within 10 minutes walk to tram(goes to rundle mall or glenelg), ****** , festival centre, central mkt, chinatown. bus to airport is a street away, warm beddings for shared room
All good except no water (hot and cold) in shower room on my last day on Tuesday 1st April 11:30AM - 1AM both on level 1 & 2. I waited for 1.5 hour. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Bathroom vanity was a bit small for 3 females doing their make up for a wedding but we managed. Great location with excellent service.
Room and shower room spacious and clean. Tee, coffee and milk provided along with tea towel, dish cloth and liquid. Great little "kitchen" area. Staff were friendly particularly the chef and head waitress. Reception staff efficient Location close to bus stops and museums. Couldn't fault this place!
From the moment we walked in we welcomed and made feel important. The Reception area was warm and friendly and process was easy. The hotel room was perfect size and location great. The location was fantastic, overlooking the sea. Bed was comfy with good service. Downside was the room we had as was very noisy with the music over the weekend, especially on Saturday and was next door to the service or staff maintenance room and was very noisy with staff being in and out fir supplies. The location was amazing! A block away from the free tram, 20min drive from Glenelg and Hahndorf.
The Terrace hosted a fringe event with a 3 course meal. It was presentable and served in a timely manner. The food itself was nothing to be excited about. With little effort this could have been an exceptional meal.
We had 2 nights in the hotel. The room was clean but the furnishings were outdated. The air conditioner blows the fresh air on the bed and is very disturbing when sleeping. There is no drinking water in the room, you can buy some at the reception. the nicest experience was the lady in charge at breakfast. She has been so nice and accommodating. Thank you darling 😊
The staff were amazing. Jayne at Breakfast deserves a medal. She was calm, efficient and worked so hard. Thank you. The gentleman on reception (name began with S) on New Years Eve was an absolute star. Our pre-booked and paid for car to airport did not arrive….and was not going to arrive. Excellent location and service, friendly helpful staff, clean rooms. Older building so not shiny and modern. Could do with better more comfortable sofa.
The facilities were clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a fantastic location. I found the room I stayed in a little dark, but definitely nothing to out me off staying again.
Loved the visit. Staff were friendly and welcoming and there was no delays checking in or out which is fantastic. Only concern was I left someone in the room when i checked out and haven't been able to get in contact with anyone to recover this despite calling the same day I checked out. Bit disappointed but the service all in all was fantastic.
Stayed in a superior suite for 3 nights. Service was lovely, food was 4 star. Vert recommendable.
Nice place to stay. Carpark spaces are small so beware if you have a larger car. Convenient location to many places
The hotel is good and clean, but the air conditioner Lacks controls and is weak. From the windows, one can only see alleys. The service is good. The buffet is sufficient but good. Rooms are modern but the hallways are poorly designed. There's a pole every few meters, making it hard for people with larger suitcases.
Ideal central location across the road from the main railway station and really near to the convention centre! Also within comfortable walking distance to all the museums and Rundle Mall / downtown area.
