Staff more than helpful.
Location to football grounds very close.
Breakfast was plentiful and range of food excellent.
Room was standard with pool view and glimpse of River.
We had a wonderful stay at the Intercontinental. The room was beautiful and the location was excellent.... especially for staying for the footy. Public transportation is easily accessible and also close by. The buffet breakfast was excellent as well and we could each eat on our own time. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Adelaide.
The hotel has a great reputation and while it is very nice and the staff are great, it is not quite as nice as we expected. The rooms are smaller than the pictures suggest. We stayed 2 nights and the restaurant was closed.
Not bad overall, but better value can be found nearby.
Super convenient well located Hotel in Adelaide. We were down for a conference next door, no issues with check in and check out, bags were held no problems. Staff were friendly. The rooms are very spacious but are most probably in need of a refresh now, I’ve used this hotel for 10 years and I can’t remember a change. New carpet or couch in the room would help. Will stay again though because the convenience...
Arrived for a business meeting and convenor was running late. Went to the bistro and ordered a hot Latte. Perfect. Great service from Ash who was extremely friendly and efficient. Great area for a lunch or a drink. I had forgotten how nice it was. Valet parking at the front were warm and friendly. Great work intercontinental!!
Wow and just wow! Friendly Staff make such a difference and they did incredible work: from checking in to checking out- super helpful and friendly. Hotel itself is well located, close to everything yet very peaceful surroundings. Beds are very comfortable and the showers are fantastic! Great water pressure that makes a huge difference. All in all very pleasant stay- I will be back for sure.

Hilton Adelaide

Music festival in the hotel with the base reverberating up through the lower level floors well into the evening. As an HH Diamond member with a profile requesting high floor away from elevators, who booked well in advance, I shouldn't even be put on the lowest possible floor right next to the elevators. Hotel is older and ready for an upgrade. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is fantastic....
It's a good hotel and we enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly, the room was very good and the food was great. However the staff that allocate tables at breakfast need to be more tentative and have a proper system. Four of us went to have breakfast and we were shown a table of 4. By the time we came back to our table with breakfast, two other people had already occupied our table. They said the...
A fabulous stay with the Hilton for 5 days while visiting Adelaide. Perfect city location, with a tram stop literally across the road, and bus stops a little further up. The staff team were so friendly, and the breakfast buffet had so many options that were traditional, vegetarian and vegan friendly. The executive lounge was a lovely way to enjoy some pre dinner drinks in a quiet area - although it...
We had requested an extra bed and when we arrived we were told that the bed was already in the room, but when we went up to the room, it wasn't there and we had to call them again and let them know.
The food at the breakfast buffet was good and the rooms were fine but some parts of the hotel looked dated (Level 2 toilets etc).
Other than that it was pretty good and we had a good view from our room
Staff were friendly, and had good knowledge of the local area. I think Mitchell was the person who checked us in if I recall the name correctly, he was friendly and helpful.
The hotel has plenty of connectable (double) rooms available which is handy for larger groups.
The room was clean and inviting.
The bed was overall comfortable, pillows were good too. Except if you have single beds, the mattress...

Great location, we were in a suit, and we got it for the balcony, but it's was very small. The hotel seems a bit old but we stayed 3 nights and the value was great
After arriving in Adelaide and having a rocky start at a different accommodation location, we quickly found Mantra online and booked.
The customer service line I called in a panic was brilliant and he made sure we had a room booked, I was even more elated when he told me not to worry about waiting the suggested time to just head in and staff would make sure we were looked after. He even made sure it...
Stayed in this hotel as part of a package deal with Discover Australia tours.
One of the biggest rooms I've stayed in.Small kitchenette with a microwave, lounge, stereo and inbuilt TV.
Would have liked a room on a higher floor. My room ,whilst it had a small balcony, the view was of an alley way and parking station.
All good EXCEPT the bathroom taps...they are sharp edged, and not at all comfortable to...
Great value accommodation in a great location. Do not use the hotel provided parking if you have anything other than a small car. It's a challenge to get in and out of it. Lifts are temperamental and walls super thin. You'll hear your neighbours if they speak loudly. That said, I'd stay here again.
Staff were extremely helpful. Very friendly. We weren't able to check in early but they offered to hold our luggage so we could wander around town until room was ready. Breakfast was included in our deal and was beautiful, Nicole was extremely helpful and friendly at the bar. Room was clean, spacious and simple. Balcony was gorgeous especially at night. Not noisy even though near lifts. Walked everywhere...

We had a great room on the 19th floor, was very quiet and clean, a little outdated but was fine for what we needed it for. We weren't explained to how ordering food or getting room service worked, it was all on a piece of paper that we were given but didn't really pay any attention to, we worked it out in the end but a little guidance would have helped, there also wasn't anyone to greet us so consequently...
I went to the Adelaide Stamford Plaza's Boulevard Rm Christmas Buffet. Self serve jugs of juices & FLAT sodas were outside the room. Other diners were served beer, wine & champagne at the table, but my request for a sparkling lemonade was refused. We were seated with 6 strangers. The table had colourful menus but NO CUTLERY, no crab crackers & no finger bowls. The food was nice but the extras were not...
2.5 stars would be a perfect way to describe this hotel because it has its pros and cons. I will start with the pros: nice and spacious room, comfortable beds and chairs, appropriate amount of towels, a lot of power out let’s and nice staff. Cons: shower knobs are to far down, no toaster, mini bar is ridiculously over priced $7 for a can of coke😳, pool was very average and spa didn’t even work, we...
Very nice rooms. Good food nearby. Friendly staff. Check out the Korean dumpling place around the corner.
Nice and clean. Cold room service 3 out of the the 4 times ordered. Service is professional and friendly. Firm comfortable bed and bedding.
Stayed a few times - clean rooms and friendly desk staff. Well located near the casino and the station. Not far from the sporting arena for convenience. Room services meals are worth ordering. Something I dont usually do. Well done for impressing me

The Mayfair hotel is very well appointed. We were given a room on the 6th floor and it was very spacious with a large bathroom, seperate living area and a large king-sized bed. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the buffet breakfast each morning. Loved our stay at the Mayfair.
The room was big and had everything that we needed. The mini bar was complimentary and stocked with local beer and cider, soft drink, chips, nuts and chocolate. I let them know that it was my birthday and they also included a card and a surprise in the mini bar. The bed was really comfortable and considering our rooms location - it was surprisingly quiet. Beautiful hotel, lovely staff, nice rooms, comfy bed and free minibar. Location was very central and within walking distance to the zoo, gallery, museum and shops.
Pleasantly surprised.
Can be a little sketchy in the area late in the evening and early morning. Few questionable characters hanging around outside but otherwise perfect
Staff absolutely great. Very attentive and nothing is a problem. Hotel bed comfy and room clean. Lots of extras like free minibar and bath bombs etc, just the type of thing you don’t get in larger chain hotels even though price comparable.
Highly recommend the Mayfair. Everything about our stay was effortless and beautiful. The rooms are stunning, customer service was excellent and the small touches with the complimentary mini bar, fruit plate and bottles of water just made the trip extra special. The restaurants and bar in house were amazing too and the location PERFECT for exploring the city. Super close to Peel Street and Leigh Street...

I recently stayed at the Pullman Hotel Adelaide and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! Everything from the cleanliness of the hotel to its fantastic location exceeded my expectations.

Staff are fantastic. Indoor Pool, Sauna, Steam room, Spa and gym. Restaurant looks lovely and the menu looks good. Decided to eat elsewhere. Lunch room service was excellent and fast. Rooms aren't the largest. The shower was filthy. Which is why I gave the room 1 star. For the price of the room I would've expected a higher quality of cleanliness.
Rooms are good, spacious and comfortable, 2 adults and 1 child, and had a roll out bed, only drawback being we were charged $50 per night for that. For a suite upgrade we probably would have been better to get a double room.
Restaurant food (Salt) was very nice.
Executive lounge was excellent
Location is outstanding

Excellent location and service, friendly helpful staff, clean rooms. Older building so not shiny and modern. Could do with better more comfortable sofa.
The facilities were clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a fantastic location. I found the room I stayed in a little dark, but definitely nothing to out me off staying again.
Loved the visit. Staff were friendly and welcoming and there was no delays checking in or out which is fantastic. Only concern was I left someone in the room when i checked out and haven't been able to get in contact with anyone to recover this despite calling the same day I checked out. Bit disappointed but the service all in all was fantastic.
Nice place to stay. Carpark spaces are small so beware if you have a larger car. Convenient location to many places
The hotel is good and clean, but the air conditioner Lacks controls and is weak. From the windows, one can only see alleys. The service is good. The buffet is sufficient but good. Rooms are modern but the hallways are poorly designed. There's a pole every few meters, making it hard for people with larger suitcases.
Rooms are neat and clean, perfect if you just need a bed and shower. Great CDB location. Has onsite parking in the basement, but it is very tight so I would avoid if you have a large or low vehicle!
Ideal central location across the road from the main railway station and really near to the convention centre! Also within comfortable walking distance to all the museums and Rundle Mall / downtown area.

Good hotel in beautiful old building. Rooms are a little dated but are very spacious and clean.
Buffet breakfast was really yummy with lots of things to choose from and good value for $25.
Glenelg is a great area to stay in, lots going on, but the hotel is close to tram for a quick 40 ride into the city.
Check in was delayed some what. Despite parking in the drop off area there wasn't a concierge service to assist with bags.
The hotel retains some of the beautiful features of the old building, including the cocktail bar.
However, the front bar could easily be a fish monger, and appears tacky by comparison.
In the room the amenities are good, with walk in shower. It would be appreciated if there...
We love staying here, it’s traditional and so is the service which we appreciate. The Family Staycation deals they have are great when travelling with kids and the pool is so suitable for them too. Stay on the Ocean Side for the more updated rooms - it’s worth it, and the views are beautiful. I often stay for convenience to and from the airport as a frequent flyer, and it’s a far more convenient option...
Had a great stay here. Enjoyed visiting the Horizons Cocktail Lounge for drinks before dinner. Huge selection of foods at the buffet breakfast including hot breakfast, cold cuts, pastries, pancakes, fruit, pancakes etc. Room was clean and the view was great even on the city side. Pool and spa with poolside drinks available
We paid for a grand retreat package which included the king suite, x2 cocktails, seafood tower and buffet breakfast. Overall it was a enjoyable stay. The room itself was comfortable, clean. Loved the cocktails we picked out, Japanese slipper yum. The seafood tower was purely an entrees for myself and my husband. If you expect it to fill you up you will be disappointed. The Terrace hosted a fringe event with a 3 course meal. It was presentable and served in a timely manner. The food itself was nothing to be excited about. With little effort this could have been an exceptional meal.
We had 2 nights in the hotel. The room was clean but the furnishings were outdated. The air conditioner blows the fresh air on the bed and is very disturbing when sleeping. There is no drinking water in the room, you can buy some at the reception. the nicest experience was the lady in charge at breakfast. She has been so nice and accommodating. Thank you darling 😊
The staff were amazing. Jayne at Breakfast deserves a medal. She was calm, efficient and worked so hard. Thank you.
The gentleman on reception (name began with S) on New Years Eve was an absolute star. Our pre-booked and paid for car to airport did not arrive….and was not going to arrive. I was close to tears and stressed. I had my elderly parents with me and time was not on our side …especially being...

A good hotel which has been renovated and the rooms are a good size and comfortable. Their restaurant is quite good offering a variety of meals at good prices. The only bad thing is that it's situated away from the centre of the city but can be accessed via a free tram service.

What a gem this place is! I absolutely loved the communal lounge and kitchen areas. The room itself was big and had a high ceilings. Well set out, quiet, and has windows that open! I will definitely stay here again.
Nice hotel, clean, lovely staff. However I felt ripped off as I stayed during the AFL Gather round. The hotel thought it was acceptable to price a double room at $400 per night. Totally not worth $800 for a two night stay. I understand hotels have different prices for certain times, but I think that was really taking advantage when I compare to the regular prices throughout the rest of the year.

They are also pet friendly and very understanding when it comes to the fur babies. Nothing was too much trouble for any staff member. Also have to give them extra credit for putting up with my crazy partner lol
Stayed with interstate family for a 4 day weekend. The staff were amazingly friendly. Stopping for a chat as they saw us. The cabins are neat and tidy. Just the way I remember from 26 years ago when I stayed for a National Titles, with a few modernisations added. It's great to see this place is dog friendly.

Great location, great spacious room, bath with tub and shower, excellent quality throughout. Were able to check in early.
Great location but nothing special about this hotel. If you choose to stay select East facing room for better light and view. Don't bother with breakfast it was very limited. There are plenty of other nicer hotels in the vicinity of the city that would probably be better value for money.
Accommodation was nice and staff were friendly and it is in a great location for Rundle St Mall or Adelaide Oval. The only gripe we had was that breakfast was very ordinary, it looked great, but had no flavour. Not a deal breaker, just a little disappointing to see the standard not match the rest of the experience.
Nice, clean and friendly reception. Loved the tub view to bed room. Variety of mini bar. All in all a good place and close to many restaurants and coffee shops around. A good wifi and LAN connection for laptop if needed for work. I recommend
The hotel was well located for where we wanted to be - a 10-15 minute stroll to the zoo and also close to the museums and Rundle Street Mall. There were a lot of good restaurants and cafes in the area too (more than shown on google maps). Our experience was really good - I didn’t realise an error I made with my booking but the staff at reception went out of their way to change rooms for us. The room was comfortable and clean. The location is great being close to shops and public transport - this allowed us to leave our car in the undercover parking on site.
Would stay here again
This is our first family Adelaide trip and had a fantastic stay at the Mawson Lakes Hotel.
Despite some hiccups at the outset of our five days four nights stay, the staff were very patient and helpful with our demanding request including a fix of the sofa bed. We were most pleased with their customer service and they humbly attended to all of our needs and beyond. They made our stay really enjoyable...
Rooms are a good size but they are a little tired. The beds could do with some new comfortable mattresses ... the ones they have at the moment are very hard and uncomfortable. Overall though the staff were lovely and the food delicious. This place could be amazing with a little revamp.

Just completed our 5 day Christmas Family get together at the park. The Kids gave the best review . Its just like being close to nature. Pool was great and play ground was even better. Keep your kids happy is the best review you can have.
Where do I start? Marion Holiday Park is more than a 5 star resort! This was by the far the best holiday we've had in years. The accommodation can't be faulted - it ticked ALL the boxes... bring nothing with you, it is ALL there! We stayed in a 2 bedroom playground view bungalow. It was pristine, spacious, fully equipped. The games room was a big hit with the kids, especially the tennis and basketball...
Great spot. Kids loved it. Stayed in one of the poolside 2 bedroom cabins and it was perfect for a family of 5. As we were from interstate we had plenty of visitors and the park was very accomadating which we appreciated. Friendly staff and the facilities are every kids dream.
Excellent park, amazing pool areas, water slides, bar and restaurant etc.
You could visit this park with kids and actually never need to leave. It is well situated however with a short drive to Brighton or into the Adelaide city centre.
Quite tight for campers, if you have a 20+ft van it can be a little tricky, the sites however were perfectly manicured
If i could say one thing that could be better...
This is a fantastic, safe, family holiday park with both units and caravan parking. There is a great playground to cater for all ages, a huge outdoor swimming pool and a heated indoor pool. There is also a water park. On weekends they have an outdoor cinema with a food stand with cooked meals to complete the outdoor area. Staff are really helpful and friendly.

Something I had planned to do but forgot about in my efforts to clear my calendar for the last minute trip. We had a hotel room, spacious, well equipped and so much better than many hotels. My wife was impressed with the quality and loved the...

Chifley On South Terrace
Adelaide, 226 South Tce 🧭 Map
Nice hotel but starting to show its age. Reception is nice but the rooms are starting to need work. We tried calling the hotel to make our reservation for 3 days, before finally giving in and driving to the place to do it personally. .. not good. Room was comfortabe enough, but the colour scheme left a lot to be desired. Very dated. Bathroom was fine but who thought it would be a good idea to put the...
The reception area is beautifully modern and updated, and the hall way was well decorated to go with the theme but our room was very original. So was a wee bit of a suprise. But it was spacious, clean, lots of natural light and a door that opened to the balcony. Beds were uncomfortable and the bathroom had no fan but the shower pressure was good. Carpark was $5 for the day / night. Customer service...
Nice and clean with fun retro decor in the lobby. Bed could have been more comfortable and I didn't like the crinkly pillows. It felt like they were filled with some sort of plastic.
Breakfast was great. The kids were super excited about the pancake machine! Staff was very polite and efficient.
Our Concierge was friendly and welcoming. The elevator feels like it’s going to drop you half a floor early... when the doors open it’s still moving up or down which is a bit surprising. The taps in the bathroom wiggle around, and the menu folder had no menu in it. The wifi didn’t connect. The bed was comfortable though and is was quiet. Thus.. 3 stars.
The Chifley on South Terrace is an older building however everything was clean comfortable and functional. Good airconditioning in each room. Reasonably close to the tram line for ease of access to Glenelg and the Entertainment Center. Only downside was the elevator which is old loud and mildly terrifying.
I feel sorry for the staff who are fighting a losing battle keeping this dinosaur afloat. Do not stay here is you are looking to enjoy your accommodation. Ok for a base but not worth the money
