Coral Sea Marina Resort

The service from hotel staff is below standard- slow, rude, dismissive and incompetent at answering simple questions about the resort/ ammenities/ nearby locations. The restaurant is also disappointing with poor quality produce, limited options (especially for their continental breakfast), exorbitant prices and excessive credit/ debit card processing fees. Don’t even bother trying it. And whilst the resort and restaurant requests to know whether your celebrating a special occasion, don’t expect to have any well wishes sent your way (we were celebrating our honeymoon and didn’t so much get a congratulations during our stay). We did however have a lovely view from our hotel room, which was clean and full of natural light. The set up by the pool area was also beautiful and allows you to soak up the sun. The proximity to the main strip of Airlie beach and the Coral Sea Marina is also a positive. Overall, it has the architecture of a good resort but is completely let down by its staff and restaurant.
