Do yourself a favour and avoid this hotel.

For starters all of the staff are backpackers, they’re hard to understand and have no idea what they’re doing, we couldn’t get a straight answer when we asked for a late check out.

The food is terrible, everything tastes like it was made last week and reheated in the microwave.

The beds are painful, we had a king size bed which might as well have been a king size concrete slab, prepare for a sore back and minimal sleep.

The rooms leave much to be desired, our shower was tiny and was dirty, the floors in the room were sticky and slippery like they were covered in wax.

The spa by the pool wasn’t even warm, it was nearly the same temperature as the pool.

On top of all of this the place looks like it’s falling apart, the elevator was run down and filthy, it felt like a death trap, the staff tell you to put any rubbish outside your room door, which sounded nice until we realised the cleaners barely come around. Which leaves the place looking like a dump, rubbish all along the hallways.

If you are coming to Airlie beach for a holiday, do yourself a favour and just fork out the extra money for a nicer hotel.
