Crystalbrook Byron, Byron Bay1 / 42

Byron Bay, 77-97 Broken Head Road 🧭 Map
The environment and building design. Beautiful, relaxing environment.
Service was delightful, food was delectable, cocktails were divine! Our first time at Forest restaurant, celebrating our first wedding anniversary and were highly impressed. Will definitely be back, thanks again!
I have stayed at Crystalbrook a few years in a row and both times have been great. My last stay recently was mediocre. I was staying on a business retreat with fellow friends a few weeks ago and my check in time was delayed by a few hours. I was okay with this as the resort held my bags and I went to enjoy the surrounds. I had been feeling unwell during my stay but on one particular night I was violently...
Amazing! Took my partner here for a surprise birthday getaway. We got upgraded and complimentary wine in room. Couldn’t recommend this place more. We enjoyed such a nice relaxing holiday. We’ll be back :)
We always have so much fun on the bikes at the Crystalbrook resorts, Byron was no exception! Wonderfully maintained hotel, loved the tennis court and it was only a short walk to the beach. Suites were very spacious and set in the rainforest - lovely surroundings. Can't wait to return!
We enjoyed our stay. We liked the secluded position of our suite and the atmosphere amongst the rainforest. However the service was, perhaps a little lacking/inexperienced/slow. On one occasion after the room service, there were no hand towels or bath mat, so we just used the extra towel, which is fine but not ideal. The coffee I ordered in a take-away cup was half full. Service to obtain a couple...

nice welcome, freshly made cookies, homely but private, and the room was right on the pool. Felt like a luxurious home rather than a hotel.
Beautiful ambience boutique hotel, nice comfy room, friendly staff... peaceful location
Best accom in Byron, Awesome location and great services!
A bit over-rated! No breakfast in bed, phone did not work. Nice fruit plate and sparkling wine.
Brilliant. Lovely atmosphere and brilliant staff. Although there may not be a total 5 star ritz experience, it is definitely an amazing showcase of nurturing character. And all the negative reviews seem to miss the “human” factor of this beautiful establishment.

We had our wedding recently at Victoria's at Ewingsdale. Victoria was such a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating in the lead up to our wedding. The grounds are beautiful and the venue has so much character and charm. Could not have been more perfect for our wedding and we absolutely loved the accommodation.
Continental but served A La Carte. Very well presented and dleiciuos
We just spend 7 nights at Victoria’s and it was fabulous, I would totally recommend this resort. Lovely peaceful restful resort in amongst the hustle and bustle off Byron Bay near by. It was a perfect central location , easy to get to our favourite places to visit Bangalow and Brunswick and Mullumbimby, and only 10-15 min drive to Byron Bay. The host and staff were so professional and welcoming. Loved...
Ewingsdale is just a short drive from Byron, and Victoria’s is in an idyllic location on a beautiful property reminiscent of a southern European setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend escape within these Mediterranean-like surroundings, close to Byron Bays amazing beaches yet still away from the hustle and bustle. The lovely host made us immediately feel welcome, and we felt right at home and relaxed...
Everything was absolutely phenomenal! The atmosphere, the accomodating staff, the breakfast in the morning catered to my dietary requirements, I felt very looked after.
Out of this world experience. Absolutely beautiful grounds, pool, BBQ area. Our suites overlook perfectly manicured gardens. Accommodation luxurious... Could see Byron Bay Lighthouse from the balcony..

What a fantastic trip me and my wife had. The communication from the outset was amazing and really felt like we'd built a relationship before we even arrived. The accommodation is beautiful, and all the little details such as the amazing brekkie made it feel really special. We will definitely be back for a slow and relaxing weekend
Everything! Absolutely beautiful property with gorgeous touches. We felt right at home from the minute we walked in, the Manager was absolutely amazing - with knowledge of the area, restaurants, things to do.
We had a beautiful and rejuvenating stay at 28 Degrees in Byron Bay. The location couldn't be more central to the bustling Byron town center, yet 28 Degrees feels like you're staying in the hinterland. It's quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Every nook and cranny has been meticulously designed and curated by the founder, Deb. The products are stunning, the plunge pool cooling, and Deb's homemade muesli...
Maureen and the staff at 28° were absolutely amazing! They made it relaxing every step of the way. The location was private and cosy, yet still within walking distance to everything. The parking was secure and hassle free. The room itself was stunning - we could have stayed there all day just relaxing. The plunge pool was private and perfect for a daily 'cool-off' from the Byron humidity. The little...
5 stars! No expenses spared. The small 1%ers made the trip. The bikes you can use, beach umbrella, beach towels, free parking, free mini bar, and the mini boost Bluetooth speakers. It is a very well maintained property that has a lap pool, new a/c that is beautifully styled in a great quiet location. If I were to come to Byron Bay again, I would definitely stay here again.
Amazing amazing amazing! Was the most perfect stay, close to all amenities in the heart of Byron. The bed and pillows were a dream! I usually wake up at 4, here I slept in until 8. The couch was the most comfortable thing I’ve ever sat on. The coffee and tea selection was so good! Private courtyard with a plunge pool. I felt so relaxed and didn’t want to leave. Enjoyed the peace and quiet. The bungalows are very clean and comfortable, good size for a couple or small family. The pool area is really lovely and private and the beach is a 5 minute flat walk. The drive into town is around 5 minutes or walk along the beach around 4kms.. alternatively catch the solar train during the daytime. We could not get an uber or taxi after trying several times so took the...
Great place! Those bungalows are the perfect size for feeling like at home during a holiday. The staff was nice, it was nicely furnished, clean and had all the desired amenities. Strongly reccomended !
We stayed at Bayshore Bungalows for 12 nights and cannot think of a better place to be for a Byron holiday. Our bungalow was roomy, quiet and comfortable, with every convenience one could want. The location is perfect - out of the bustle of downtown Byron, but just 10 minutes away on the Solar Train. Not only that, Penny is a legend - so friendly and responsive to all reasonable queries and requests...
I recently stayed at Bayshore Bungalows and had an amazing stay. Penny at reception was so helpful and went above and beyond. The property felt like an oasis and the bungalows were spacious, clean and the interior was beautiful. With a full kitchen, lounge and 2 bedrooms there was everything we needed. Also easy to get to the beach and close to everything you need.
Lovely host! Was super helpful letting us know the best places in town! Was an amazing place to stay if you want a quiet resort like place! Had a dip in the pool (it’s winter) but was still refreshing and played a few games of tennis on the lush tennis court. Tv also also has Foxtel for those who want to curl up and watch a movie at the end of the night. Gardens are well kept and rooms are very clean...
Simply amazing, secluded, private bungalows, about 8min from town and 10min walk to the beach. Lovely and friendly staff, thank you.

Really lovely place to stay near Byron. So peaceful and tranquil there. David and Kate were friendly and inviting. Our room was nice and well designed. Clean and very comfortable. No TVs though. Delicious continental breakfast with warm croissants delivered. Beautiful surrounds and there is a nice walk on the property. Close to everything and would definitely recommend staying here
We recently had the opportunity to stay overnight here. Firstly the service that Dave the owner provided was wonderful. Then secondly the rooms were so nicely decorated which we found out Kate his wife is the interior & landscape designer. The cleanliness of not only the rooms but the whole property just showed how much they cared! Highly recommend 😁
We had the pleasure of staying at Abelia house in the Forest Room, during our weekend in Byron Bay. The communication before and during our stay is very good. I’d received a reminder of my stay a couple of days prior, a text on the day confirming the check in process, and directions showing how to get there, which you can reply direct to. We were greeted by David, who was very friendly. He showed...
We had a lovely three night stay at Abelia House in June 2018. It is a beautiful property and is only a short drive from Bryon Bay itself. The room was tidy and comfortable and the daily breakfasts including home made muffins and croissants were delicious. The host made excellent recommendations about activities and restaurants in the nearby region also. We look forward to returning.
Lovely Accommodation and hosts, out of the way which suits some perfectly, set on 100 acres of nature, very difficult to locate after dark but the hosts are super helpful in that regard.
We stayed 4nights and really enjoyed the peaceful serenity and surrounding nature. Hearing the birds from our very clean bedroom or verandah was very relaxing. And the great Byron weather definitely helped. The delicious breakfast was something we looked forward to every morning - waiting to see what was the extra surprise: muffin, croissant or raisin bread!! All of David's food suggestions for dinner...

First Sun Holiday park is the original and the best. Located right on the beach so you can hear the waves and smell the salt air. The park has its own access to Belongil beach which makes going for a swim or surf super easy. And it is located right at the beach end of Johnson st so you can walk to all the shops and restaurants. Reception staff are super friendly. Facilities are clean and modern. And...
Super nice campground! Is located at one of the best spots in Byron. Direct access to the beach, clean facilities, lots of bbq stations (one is located directly on top of the beach) and in the city centre. Hippy huts are very spacious and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff.
kids playground, but public pool next door and beach only 50 metres away. You are right in the middle of town but wouldn't know until you went outside the park, very quiet. One disadvantage is some of the unpowered sites are extremely small so you should check the map bearing in mind the map is not to scale and not show relative sizing, to see what you have been allocated, the guy next to us commented...
A very clean park and a great location to the beach (right on the beach) and walking distance to the town centre. The staff are very friendly and happy to help. Great also if you're up revelling at the pub next door (or should I say nightclub). But if you want to get to sleep before 1am you won't because the music is loud! We were right on the border/fenceline so we're very close. If you got a site...
What's not to love about this holiday park. Two entrances to the surf, ( a bit wobbly however) But the park is constantly watched by the owners. And the cabins are beautifully presented, ( That is until you bring half your house on holidays ) any way my Husband and I WILL BE BACK. thankyou very much.
We stayed here for two nights but needed to get a powered sight as the unpowered sights that were remaining were so small my car would barely even fit on the spot. It was an awesome stay though. The toilets and showers were awesome, lively staff and a good atmosphere. Would definitely stay again!

Best staff with excellent service. Helped from start to finish. Stunning architecture and outdoor pool. Though it seems occupied mostly by couples.
What a beautiful spot in Byron. Every little thing had been thought of. Jess on the front desk was super friendly and approachable. Bed was comfortable, lots of windows, super quite and found the whole stay really relaxing. Absolutely loved my stay and will stay again!
We loved this place! We stayed in two different rooms and both were excellent, relaxing and the small touches were appreciated. The decor of the place is lovely, the communal spaces are great and other guests respect your space and privacy. We are come back for another stay for sure.
Beautiful hotel in a great location. Minutes from the main streets, shops and beaches. The staff were very friendly and polite. The room and common areas were impeccably clean. Only downside was our room was on Marvel St which was a bit noisy in the morning from the cars passing nearby even with all the windows shut.
What a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are lovely with little courtyard balconies. Small but all you need. All the common rooms are well appointed with lovely books and decorations. Positioned perfectly for easy access to the retails streets of Byron and off street parking. We would definitely come back to the Atlantic.
Wow....what a great and amazingly executed place to stay. The communal areas are a great idea and with so many you rarely bump into anyone else if you don't want to. Unfortunately it was raining for most of our stay so the fire pit was outbut we'll be going back for sure so look forward to that next time.

Really cute hotel, 10 minute walk from the beach but right amongst lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. Decor was lovely and my room was clean and comfortable. The pool area was lovely and you can order food and drinks to your sun-lounger! Check out is midday.
Despite renovating we had the best experience and customer service. We did have a lot of the property to ourselves. But rooms were great, Lekker bikes awesome and late check out and location to everything perfect!
Customer service was 5 stars. Great location and plenty of facilities to make our stay enjoyable. Unfortunately, there was building works going on that disrupted our holiday. Staff were prompt to move us to ensure a comfortable stay.
Location is awesome, the hotel is on a really vibrant road with loads of cafes, bars and restaurants (checkout the avocado hut for an english egg and bacon muffin just a few mins walk on the same road, also right next door to the hotel is a fab Japanese takeaway where you can buy salads and sandwiches cheap). The beach is really close too about 8 mins walk. The hotel is really clean our room was cleaned...
Beautiful place with spa, pool, tennis court , on site parking and nice friendly front office staff Just need to update the bathrooms and May be better air fresheners Other than that enjoyed our stay
Very convenient location, 2 minutes walk to woolworths and nice restaurants, close to the beach too. Room is nice. Parking right in front. Will definitely come back.

Friendly cozy beach house where I can spend long holiday. Good to meet new people and make a good friends. Nice place to share the experiences.
Brilliant all around. Personal service, privacy, ease of transactions.
Had an emergency stay in Byron due to car breakdown, Byron Springs could not do enough to make me comfortable. Room spotless, surroundings beautiful, breakfast wonderful. My hostess even drove me back to the mechanic to collect my car.
Great place to stay. Clean, spacious and the host go above and beyond. Far enough out of town to miss the crowd but a nice little stroll into town and the beach.

All good. A great place to hang in Byron.. Friendly accommodating owner. Quiet room and very comfortable.
The location is perfect, quite, intimate and easily accessible/close to everything. The room was clean, plenty of amenities and even a cute puppy to say hello! Secluded and secure outdoor setting and privacy inside.
We had an excellent stay! The location was perfect: in a quiet area, yet very close to the beach and shops. The room was clean, had all the essentials and a nice terrace as a bonus. Dan was very helpful (thanks for the ice!) and welcoming & he recommended a lot of cool non-touristy spots to visit. All in all, great b&b!
Dan and Maruska have created a lovely few well appointed rooms for guests to stay in. We felt comfortable, safe and well located to all sights, and activities like the beach from day one. Highly recommended, thanks so much Sarah and James from Melbourne

Great little place. It has everything you need at a very good price. Breakfast was good. Full use of kitchen area.
Such a great experience. Paul was very accommodating and friendly. Close to the beach, shops and food. Chill out at the sauna too. It was so calming and felt so refreshed and revived after. Woke up to a great sleep. Also free healthy breakfast too, who doesn't love that. We enjoyed our lovely little break here and would definitely recommend staying here again 😀
Nice little spot. Modern. Garden/pool is great for lounging and easy walking to town. Good parking. No facilities to cook or heat up and the walls/doors are quite thin. The breakfast is also quite minimal and not replenished so go early. Another review said overpriced hostel and I think that is accurate.
Excellent stay, thanks Phil. Very welcoming staff and beautiful guest rooms. Clean and peaceful!

Beautiful room, we loved the view and the ambience. There's so many great walks around to experience and very close to the beach as well. We are more than happy with our experience with Abazu.
Had a lovely four day stay. The rooms were very nice and open. Me and my partner had a great massage which I’d say is one of the best we’ve had. On-site peacock is stunning, staff are very friendly and make an effort to remember your name. Highly recommend
BEAUTIFUL location, views and room. Had the most amazing stay with my partner. Red wine in the spa, with stunning rainforest views. We also had a 90 minute massage - incredible! Looking forward to our next stay here. 😍
My partner and I stayed for 2 nights last week. The man that greeted us and checked us in was friendly and helpful. He offered to carry our bags to our room and every time we walked in and out of the retreat, he poked his head out to see if we needed anything. The room was a bit smaller than expected, but the high windowed doors to the outside rainforest made it feel like it was more spacious. The...
The service here is very attentive and friendly. The room was really cute and had great views of the garden. Peacocks on site too. Only downfalls were that you can hear the neighbours come back at night and the spa is small in terms of length for two people, however, you can still make it work.

Very friendly staff, great location. Has its own path to the beach. Top quality amenities and camp kitchen. Within walking distance to Byron restaurants and pubs. Extremely busy park though, we were camping in a tent, only downside was the extremely hard ground to try and hammer into but hey all in all a great park.
Our second time here, as we loved the location just out of town but on the beach, and this really well thought out holiday park. We had a great time, but not quite worth the money. A bit more run down than last time around the park and in cabin. Maintenance issues reported were attended to, but not fixed in cabin, and the large, smelly algae pond right outside ( not their fault of course ), took the...
Great little getaway and perfect location if you have children as the villas are so close to the beach access. Great staff at front desk and very helpful housekeepers. I left my earrings behind and they very kindly found them and sent them back. Very appreciative. Thank you!

We arrived in Byron Bay with no hotel booking, reception was more than helpful and got us booked in hassle free on the spot and straight into our room, the pool was so refreshing and just a short walk to town and the beach. We would 100% recommend the Wollongbar Motel to anyone 🙂
We absolutely love this place!! It is very cheap and very cheerful. Straight out the back gate to the beach, an easy walk into town and the staff will do anything they possibly can to make your stay wonderful. This is our 3rd stay and we highly recommend.
