When returning to the hotel when the front desk wasn't staffed, the automatic doors wouldn't open unless you inserted your room key, so security was assured.
Amenities included two shampoos and two bars of soap.
Luggage storage was available both before check-in and after check-out.
The staff were friendly, so it was a great experience.
Furnishings are definitely old though, but for the price you pay - you cannot complain.
Swimming pool is very small, unheated and a little dirty, but fine if you want to get accustomed to water before doing the reef (which is what you're in Cairns for right?)!
Highly recommend everyone to stay in Heritage Cairns. The staff was responsive to our night arrival and everything was pretty smooth. The rooms were clean and the WiFi connection is stable too.
The staff kindly arranged a suitable room for my mum who was not good at walking. Moreover, the staff let us use the shower room with towel and amenities even we had already checked out that day. Many thanks for their hospitality!
The room is silence and the bed is confortable.
