room was very comfortable and clean staff were friendly breakfast was amazing
This hotel only deserves a three star review overall. Very disappointing how they force you to use card and charge a 2% fee to pay. The room wasn’t serviced much at all, I asked reception why it hadn’t been cleaned they tried to tell me the wind blew the tag off the door handle which is impossible. At times we needed to call reception it took about five calls until they would answer. The Hilton charged...
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hilton Cairns. We have been very well looked after here during our week stay. We stayed in the King Hilton Spa Room, it offered incredible views of the ocean and hills. The spa was such a nice addition! The buffet breakfast has a great selection which varies slightly on different days, the service we received was always excellent. The executive lounge area was...
Water view room w balconies are fantastic. Spa Rooms were an extra bit of comfort enjoyed during our stay. Several Restaurants on site all with great offerings. All staff were soo kind and service oriented. Look forward to our return stay.
Nice hotel at a great location away from the busy part of Cairns but within easy reach of all the facilities. The Executive Lounge was good with some light breakfast options and nighttime drinks. Breakfast buffet was great at the cafeteria. Food options available at nighttime could be improved.
The kind staff absolutely made our initial 5-night stay- so much so that we returned a day later when some plans fell through. The views facing the harbor are stunning, with balcony doors that open so you can feel the sea in your room if you want. The hotel is perfectly located-15 min. walk to grocery store, mall, and seconds from restaurant and harbor where many excursions depart. Water refill...

In one of the best locations in Cairns, you will find this amazing hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and happy to accommodate any request. The views from this hotel were stunning, our apartment almost had a 360 degree view of Cairns, which included the mountains, the city, the ocean, and the esplanade, absolutely incredible! The pool and amenities were excellent! I guess that’s...
The Trilogy was wonderful and our stay was very pleasant. I enjoyed the location, our room was comfortable all be it a little small. Great on site pool and gym. The staff are absolutely wonderful. Limited parking and no daily housekeeping not ideal. However I would stay again.
We had a sensational one bedroom apartment with sea views and a balcony. The room was nice and clean and the bed comfortable. The pillows on the bed were a little high for us but ones that suited were easily found in the generous wardrobe. The table was large enough to do a 1500 piece Jigsaw. The fans and the air-conditioning worked well for us. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. We will...
Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Room was clean. Bed was good. If we are required to clean cups them supply washing liquid, cloth and tea towel so that it can be done. Recommend making it more clear on website that reception is located in Abbott Street and not on The Esplanade as it states.
Staff were so friendly and helpful. We were able to walk everywhere and being there for the festival this was a bonus! The room was exactly what we had asked for, for two sisters on vacation. Next time though we will upgrade to self contained apartment. One negative, the swipe cards for lifts and rooms. Sometimes it would take 5 or 6 swipes to work.
Staff are very friendly. Room is clean and tidy. Views are great! Tv not working and very difficult to get into the room as the door lock needs adkusting. Funny enough it does open when you lift the handle up! But i can't get used to that. Overall a pleasant experience.

Very clean establishment in a perfect location. The rooms are modern and elegant with every customer’s need attended too. The hotel is up to speed with a modern day directory using QR codes and lights as opposed to books and tags. The gym and sauna is impressive for a hotel. Will be back!
The hotel is in a convenient location, the front desk staff is superb and friendly. I loved the outside entrance and the lobby and the rooms are a generous size. This is a lovely hotel but it just missed 5 stars in my mind because the sheets are slightly rough and the pillows are too thick. Also the breakfast buffet, although huge, is not quite excellent and the music is much too loud for me.
Staff are lovely in all areas of the hotel especially reception and house keepers. Negative is towels provided at pool too short for sun lounges had to use 3 to cover which is a waste. Pool doesn’t have outdoor shower which is a little unhygienic. Coco's restaurant has a very limited menu and what I did order was terrible, over all food at hotel could be better. Pizza from bar menu was tasteless even...
Hotel was really nice seems to be in a fairly good location to access the lagoon and boats directly across the road from the casino if that's your thing. Food was really good couldn't complain. Staff were really friendly very easy going and accommodating. Rooms are very well appointed. Only thing I could fault was no extractor fan in the bathroom so kept steaming up
An older refurbished hotel always has more space in its rooms and this is no exception. Coupled with great service, beautiful views and facilities this is a really great choice......... The background poolside and bar music though are stupendously bad!! I would rather eat my own hair than listen to it! Please, turn it off for ever!
Service and food was excellent it was our 1st time and couldn't be more then happy 😁

Great location, easy to access and the staff were very friendly and helpful. An easy waly to the local amenities and the restaurants along the Esplanade. The room was spacious and a nice place to stay Great secure carparking with easy access.
I'm very happy for the stay of 3 nights, a very nice, clean, continent and secure place. I'd like to give them 6 stars for their service if I could. Special thanks to Amy and manager for solving the problem resulted from my mistake of booking. I'll strongly recommend my friends to stay here when they visit Cairns.
First class accommodation. I don't even look anywhere else when going to Cairns. These apartments are well equipped and have such a good layout/configuration for families or groups. The location is also second to none.
Rooms were nice and clean. We had a 2 room apartment for our family of four. They could use some updating, but it was fine and safe. Location is excellent.
Met by an unimpressive entrance and a small reception area you get the impression of an older style hotel. The corridors leading to the rooms continues this impression. Then you open the door and are met by a lovely spacious quality room with everything you could need. The bedroom is impressive leading out to the large balcony. The lounge and kitchen (with washing machine and dryer) is really comfortable...

Fantastic location, clean, comfortable and all staff were very nice. Such a great spot to stay!
Very good hotel and just far enough away from the main eating area in town for a nice walk back, but not too far, after dinner. We had a great 'ocean view' room overlooking the water, DO NOT TAKE ONE OF THESE ROOMS! They are directly above the bars and nightclubs and you won't be getting too much sleep. Also directly opposite these rooms is the heliport, you won't be getting any sleep-ins in the morning...
Great view and lovely spacious room. There was no room service for food or drinks. Good breakfast selection. Only negative was that you had to go down to the foyer to collect food for the minibar.
We had a brilliant experience with the Shangri-la. It's been 1 year since we've been back and the morning breakfast offering has certainly improved. This year for something different we were pampered to the mezzanine level. Think their suite class with lounge access. Personally I was a huge fan of the lounge. Great food offering and just amazing selection of beverages. One of the better lounges...
The location was good. The staff friendly and helpful. Facilities were good and everything worked. The travel desk was well resourced and the staff knowledgeable.
The location of the hotel was excellent, offering a stunning port view from our room. Although the building is somewhat dated, as evidenced by the old-fashioned tiles in the bathroom and the TV cabinet. One notable feature was the Dyson powerful hairdryer provided in the room, which we appreciated. The room service was impressive. Excellent staff and great customer service. We really enjoyed our stay here and the rooms were nice, plus location is perfect. Only minor issues I would say as feedback are: - were we werent able to use the television/chromecast - sometimes robes were not replaced - we stayed 9 nights and our price increased as we went through checkout; then further a new promotion which included plenty of extras...
My wife and I had a fantastic stay at this awesome Hotel. We are already planning to go back next year. Matt at concierge was amazing and right from the word go he went over and beyond to help us. The Pullman Reef Hotel Casino in Cairns had a mixed experience. The overall ambiance felt a bit dark and rundown, lacking in vibrant energy. The limited number of shops was disappointing, with the main focus seemingly on the pokies. However, we stumbled upon a pleasant surprise—the nice bar during happy hour, which added some enjoyment to our stay. The highlight was the wildlife park on the roof, which...
perfect peaceful room with nothing in front of us but the river and mountains.
What's not to love, understated hotel right by the water front. Gorgeous views of the sea and city. The junior king suite is well appointed. There's a pod coffee machine. We stayed at the hotel for seven nights and loved it! The room was clean, modern enough, had a kettle/coffee machine, hairdryer and a safe to store your belongings. Not to forget about a complimentary bottle of vine and free parking included to our offer. We chose an ocean view and the room had a balcony with an outdoor furniture and a coffee table to enjoy sunrises and sunsets. The hotel staff were...
5 star service with a 4 star building. This is so close to a 5 star review just the age of the building lets it down. Still don't let that worry you if you are thinking of staying, the building is glorious and if you enjoy a 50s building in the golden light then this is for you. Really well positioned to Cairns and just far away enough that you don't hear the yelling from the regulars.
My husband and I stayed here beginning of September 23. Loved the location, right near the esplanade. The room was comfortable, clean and the shower was awesome. All the staff were very helpful. Would definitely recommend it.
Location is about 15 mins away from Cairns airport, a stone throw away from waterway and city centre. Wait staff in the restaurant is attentive. Room is spacious but lack a mirror. Non- smoking facility which...
The Hilton double tree is in a wonderful spot. Easy walk to almost everything. Friendly staff who honored my diamond status with bottle Of wine in room. Great location, room was spacious, great views, staff were lovely.
Despite our late-night arrival, Jack, the waiter, displayed exceptional kindness, and the check-in process was efficiently handled. The hotel's central location proves to be highly advantageous, but it is worth mentioning that the lighting in the room was somewhat dim. Regrettably, the absence of toiletries was a minor inconvenience.
The staff is incredibly friendly! The hotel is very well designed, clean and it has a huge lobby. They helped me with everything I needed, I can recommend a visit here highly! Thank you so much, dear Pacific Team!
Comfortable enough room but Wifi is unusably slow and big lump In the old bed. Not happy with pre-check in or check in process - just a massive up-sell. hotel does not accept cash but charges exorbitant card use fees (scam). Beware. We obviously got a very basic room with a view of the driveway and no balcony - but for more $$ we could have upgraded, Yeah - Nah. Construction around the pool deck ATM
Staff was amazing breakfast was perfect the rooms where nice and clean, view is amazing it’s am very close to all the shops and everything is walking distance
Fair welcome and friendly approach. They have the dinner only pre defined menu which you can access via QR code they supplied. But you can order only up to 2000. And the breakfast served in the restaurant which you can find average selection which was good by the quality. Checking out was smooth and overall stay was comfortable.

Absolutely spotless, we received a very warm welcome. It was a very comfortable last night to our holiday. It's located right near the centre of Cairns and gives you a very authentic experience of living in a Queenslander home. Warm friendly and helpful hosts
Cool little BNB with fantastic owners! They went out of their way to accommodate us - definitely worth the stay when next in Cairns!
We stayed just for our first night in Cairns at the Red Sparrow. The hosts Colin and Christine were both really nice and so flexible. Family of 5 stayed in a 3 bedroom ocean front apartment and the apartment was perfect. The spacious outdoor balcony overlooked the pool and had beautiful views overlooking the water. Nice view on the pool, great water, very good housekeeping. We had in the first room a great air con. In the second just generally that was bad. Can be louder. I’m sensitive with noise, would still recommend this Hotel.
The advantages and disadvantages of this hotel are very obvious. First of all, let's talk about the advantages: the hotel has a very beautiful swimming pool, and the landscape design is also very beautiful, and it matches the swimming pool very well. The room is also warmly. Some staff have a nice attitude. Then are the disadvantages: if you live near the road, congratulations, you will be woken up...

What an amazing BIG4 park! The staff are friendly and helpful. So much for the kids and adults to do. Immaculately kept grounds and facilities. A big shout out to the lovely Carla for her wonderful enthusiasm instructing the water aerobics lessons. We always came out of the pool smiling! We enjoyed our family reunion at Cairns Coconut. Great kid friendly park with many activities and multiple pools to keep them occupied throughout our stay. Those looking for a small, quiet relaxing park to setup would be advised it’s possibly not for you ! No fault of the parks but it’s a shame some parents think it’s a holiday for them whilst forgetting to be a responsible parent and supervising their children.
WOW! We were looking forward to a family getaway with the kids (1yo & 3yo). The resort exceeded our expectations. Fabulous facilities and loved the park layout. Well, it's not a resort as I know it. I would call it a gated community. It seems that units are owned and rented out. We checked in at night, which was a very bad move. Just spent a week here with the family using The Lakes as a base and could not be happier with the service. From check in till check out we were well looked after. Where do i begin, The hotel itself is OK, the rooms are definitely in need of a makeover they are beey old and tired, an upgrade of in-room amenities is needed, the photos on there website is definitely not what you get, the restaurant is overpriced for what offer. Good hotel with pool. Far enough away from the centre of town which was loud but close enough to walk. Rooms neat and tidy. Not much noise insulation between floors and rooms and despite notices about keeping "quiet time" between 10pm and 8am some guests were very noisy but, other than that, quite nice 2 night stay. Useful having no parking restrictions in road outside
Stayed here recently for 2 nights. Comfortable room, clean and well serviced. Breakfast is available plus nice pool and BBQ area . Located not far from the city centre. Good price, under $200.00 a night. Limited parking available but plenty of street parking.
Basic clean rooms. No lifts to higher floors but we were able to be accommodated on the ground floor. Good for a weekend away at the beach. I was travelling for work and it did not really suit my needs. Some noise and bright lights - curtains not sufficient to block this. Staff were lovely

Cairns, 40 Hutchinson Street, Edge Hill 🧭 Map
Excellent service, amazing views and all in the heart of a tropical lush rainforest as your backdrop. Wildlife such as kookaburras and I believe wallabies in the area were an attractive site to see. Close to quirky and lovely cafes in the quiet hub of edge hill. Attention to detail and polite service, and amazing breakfast that will make you feel full. Slightly hesitant on the drive way but plenty...
Friendly warm welcome, lovely fresh fruit, cheeses, breads fruit juices, coffees and cereals for breakfast, exceptionally clean rooms, cosy and has all you need, plunge pool, and views to die for. Lots of birds including visiting Kookaburas , peaceful location, bit only a 10 min drive into the city
Great views, a wonderful breakfast and a lovely host. There are a couple of tropical birds that come to visit the owners every day during breakfast - they just stay there, they don't bother the guests or anything. It's charming. The wi-fi is excellent, by far the best connection I've had in a trip. Recommended.
Really good property in edge hills, cairns. Hosts were really warm and curtious. Rooms were really good. All and all a great place to stay.
It was a wonderful experience staying at Kookas. Nicely tucked away from the main city, yet accessible, Kookas is nice and warm bnb with Marlies and Bruno being amazing hosts. Marlies was super helpful as she helped us with Reef bookings, and also helped us plan our day explaining the things that we could do around, and the public transport. The breakfast was really nice and delicious and they were...
