Spacious room, very comfortable bed with ceiling fan and nice cold AC. Lovely lady who serviced us. Parking available and good, central location. We had a good stay :)

I felt that it was a very good point that there was a railroad crossing of the Kuranda Railway nearby and I could see the train up close. Also, there is a convenience store nearby, so I don't think you will have any trouble living.

The receptionists were very nice, kind and polite. There was a pool in the middle of the hotel, and it was nice to be able to spend time watching the children having fun.

We booked this on the night of arrival. The office was closed, but the owner was very quick to respond. He gave us a late checkout, which was very welcome after a trying days travel. Good, comfortable sleep, and after checkout we were able to leave our luggage there. There is a noisy exhaust fan in the bathroom, and the room needs some maintenance, but overall a good place to stay.

The overall is very good. Cairns is not big and a taxi is not expensive.

Hotel was halfway between the airport and main part of town. The staff was very helpful in arranging a very late night arrival. However, we feel a tad misled by the pictures of the establishment; it looked incredibly nice hotel with a very nice pool area. Although the room was clean, he outside was very dirty and it was more of a run-of-the-mill hotel. Decent but not great.

Overall, I was very satisfied, but when we checked in, we were told that the king-size room we booked was fully booked and we could only get a twin-size room, which was really incomprehensible. But the rest was really good. I especially like the handsome guys and girls at the front desk who helped us book nearby attractions and were very friendly and kind. The room was clean and the service staff was warm and friendly. The hotel is located 5.5 kilometers from the airport. It is only a 20-minute walk from the Great Barrier Reef Cruise Terminal. The downside is that some blankets have a peculiar smell.

Its a good place within access to many facilities. The staff is friendly and quite forthcoming in attending to one's needs. Rooms are clean and roomy affording a good aeration. Will recommend the place for any type of stay, holiday or work, short or long stays

We were unlucky enough to be in Cairns during the flooding caused by Cyclone Jasper. The wonderful staff were so accomodating. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Location is great. Thank you. We will be back.

Couple of things to look for, no power socket in our room to plug kettle in.had to boil it in bathroom.nowere to plug laptop in at desk. And we're seventy, no grab rail in bath shower.dodgy at our age getting out of shower over the bath.

Perfect location. I had a lovely view of the esplanade, it was close to everything. Staff were very friendly and hospitable. My room was very comfortable.

Stayed here for my birthday and it was fantastic. I knew my flight was going to get me there too early for check-in but was going to see if they could hold my bags until ready. But the lovely lady at reception was fabulous and actually checked in with housekeeping to see if the room was ready to go and it was. The service that was received throughout my stay was excellent. Could not fault it one bit

Very good location, central and close to everything, staff very nice and attentive, quite friendly. Unfortunately the hotel is a little outdated, old building, really needs redecorating and a fresh look. The back door was not working, the spa and the pool is nice enough for a splash, however the lagoon just across the road is nicer for anyone specially kids and families. I had to stay for one night in this hotel. For a low hundred $ price is very good. You can not expect something outstanding in this place based on this price. My room was immaculate and well designed again for this price. The location is perfect, and receptionists are friendly. Check out photos

The room size is relatively large, a bit small and old, and it is relatively close to the airport. health conditions can also. Its restaurant serves Thai food. I ate it once for dinner, so you can give it a try.

Not a bad spot but there are better options in town. The front staff is nice but you can wait up to half an hour because there is one staff member for the desk for a fairly large hotel. The room was comfortable and air conditioned. One washer and dryer for the hotel at $3 each ($1 coins only). The restaurant is so-so. Other people were having hot water issues and had to change rooms multiple times...

People can be precious. It's cheap, clean, quiet, friendly and convenient. Close to foreshore and all the takeaway you could need on the highway 200m away. As good as you could ask for a work traveller.

The room is quite big, but it is on the second floor, on the street side, and you can't see the sea view. The sanitation seems to be just changing the bath towels and throwing away some garbage. Overall it's not bad.

A stylish condominium type hotel that is seldom found in the suburbs of Cairns. This hotel have 2 open-air swimming pools. The hotel staff are all welcoming and helpful at anytime. This hotel room was air from ceiling fan just like Southeast Asia. And Breeze is a light wind outside.

Staff were nice, room was clean, bed comfortable. Towels changed daily. We had upstairs room and felt the bathroom floor not safe for elderly people as had a curved slope to the floor in the shower area and also in the actual bathroom and although a raised pattern in the tiling felt unsafe

We stayed for three nights and were very happy with the rooms. They were spotlessly clean and the beds were super comfy. I had a downstairs room and my only complaint was that I could hear footsteps from the room above.

I really enjoyed my relaxing stay. Free from backpackers and noisy guests, peaceful poolside in lush garden setting, no road noise, bliss!!! The room was basic, very spacious, very comfortable, very clean, all well maintained and in good order, with all the essentials. Staff are lovely and professional. Location is very convenient, room was clean. Unfortunately, the walls to neighbouring rooms must be thin as it was quite noisy and the room faced onto a main part of town making it quite bright at night.

Location wise, it was great! But note that it is not a serviced apartment. Also, they only give coffees, etc good for a few days. So if you're staying more than 3 or 4 days, you're better off buying a small jar from Coles across the road! Otherwise, good for the purpose. Not fabulous but ok.

Ok for a night, but not any longer. The fan only had one speed (slow) regardless of the setting it was on. Same as the AC fan only went slow despite setting and then would turn off every hour???? Staff were very nice and location was great, handy to everything, but a stay during winter would be more advisable when the whether is cooler.

Great accommodation for two couples - private quiet, clean, good kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms and lounge. Unfortunately we had not done our homework enough and were not prepared for taxi problems- long wait at airport, $44 fare, failure to turn up for booked return. Bus ok in daytime. We were on the ground floor facing a fairly bush thoroughfare so a bit noisy. We dealt direct with the owner being an Air bnb. We would stay again

I was able to request early check-in for free using the contact information email I had purchased on Trip.com. It took 15 minutes by taxi from the airport, costing about $45. An enormous 3 BR apartment with everything you need in best location, right next to a huge shopping centre. Straight short walk to the marina through the unique scenery of Cairns. Our apartment was clean and basic and guarantees a good holiday at an affordable price. We arrived very early and were able to leave our luggage at the reception. Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. Clarendon on Spence. Huge 2 bedroom two bathroom. Very clean spacious. Everything you need in the kitchen. Across the road to Cairns central shopping centre. Walking distance to Railway, pub and buses nearby. Anna was lovely. Would I stay here again.? Yes I would. 10 out of 10.

Convenient apartment with pool. The sheets were clean and there was air conditioning in each room that only went as low as 23 degrees. The whole place could have done with a thorough clean though and at least cleaned under the beds between guests. OK place to stay.

I would recommend Tradewinds as a great place to stay. The apartments are very comfortable & very clean. The beds are great......the best nights sleep I've ever had outside my own home. Stayed there for a week. Nice pool, good parking, close enough to the shops and town centre. Nice, clean rooms. Would stay there again. Only down side was the host. Could be a bit more accommodating. Over all quite happy.

A nice place to stay when I was in the North for a few years - clean, quiet, area, and Graham the manager was usually always around to help - a great place for locals, but for tourists it is a bit far from the centre of town - need to hire a car from the airport or in town if you want to go exploring.

Good location as close to Cairns Base Hospital.

Sally was so friendly and prompt in her communication, it made my stay that much more special. She gave some great recommendations on what to do during my stay. I loved my room - it was spacious, clean and decorated in Balinese style. The location is good, walkable distance to the city center and the complementary breakfast was a bonus touch. All in all, a very comfy stay.

We loved it! Stayed three nights in one room and two nights in another. The rooms were very clean, with lovely sheets and good aircon. Continental breakfast included fruit, muesli and raisin toast - my favorites. It was quiet and there is a pool. Great value for money and staff were very helpful :)

Not expensive motel at nice place near to Cairns Esplanade. Room was spacious with good equipment as air-conditioning, flat TV, refrigerator, etc. Bathroom is also pretty big. Problem is that you can hear nearly everything around you. Every step on staircase, all sound from dinning place. Also included breakfast was not traditional continental but very small.

We stayed originally 2 nights in an Ensuite cabin at this holiday park and enjoyed it so much we extended another day. Room is clean and well equipped, staff friendly, no complaints at all! Great location as close to Cairns! Would recommend and definitely stay again if in the area next time!

We loved this place it was great to stay in, the cabins had everything we needed the service was friendly and the staff around the park were great as well. It was close to everything and easy to get in and out of. Facilities were neat and clean we used the BBQ area with our friends that were camping, was so clean.

Park fine. Amenities old but clean. Noise from the main road at night can be heard particularly when sirens go past which is very often - not that the park can do anything about this but just be warned WiFi was not stable in the location we camped so don’t rely on using it. This van park lovely. Handy too. Only fault is every morning the cleaner/ owner ? moves books & mags out of laundry & throws away ( or gives away). So a few people hoping to swap books but couldnt. I ended up swapping with another lady.

Beautiful and cozy property on the beautiful Cairns Esplanade. Management was super helpful and friendly. Fantastic air conditioning which is a must have in the Cairns heat. Only 2mins away from the hospital and local cafes. Apartment was fully self contained and perfect for my 5week stay.
