Nothing flash but all necessities are there and walking distance to stores, bars, crocodile park etc
Always great service here. Friendly staff. Popular with locals. Secure. Safe.
Excellent value centrally located and close to restaurants, bistros and shops. Staff friendly and helpful. Standard rooms offer all amenities
Hard beds, but great value otherwise
Value for money, right in the heart of the city centre but has paper thin walls and can hear everything from the pubs outside.

Room was only small but we only needed to sleep there. The outdoor communal kitchen was well set up. Would be better if the bath towels were replaced every couple of days
This was a top experience for us. The girls in the office are super friendly and our cabin is amazing Thanks so much for making our stay in Darwin so great Craig and Ellie
I cannot even being to express how accommodating and incredible Mel and Dani were! We had originally book another accomodation which was awful and had to make a last minute change. They set us up without a hick and let us have an early check in. We stay for 2 weeks with them and wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else. The rooms were perfect and the aircon was an amazing break from the hot NT air...
Stayed here for a family funeral - absolutely loved it. The cabin we stayed in was cozy and tidy. Customer service was at its absolute best and totally loved the help we got from Danni when we needed to extend and then had to change our booking back! Thank you for making a sad time bearable.
Very convenient location. Close to everything, crocodile park and shops. The place was nice, the jets flew pass every morning and they were Very Loud! We booked a 1 bedroom and a powered ensuit. The room was nice thou I had to clean the benches, sweep floors and fold away the rugs as they were dirty. Besides this it was nice. Affordable.
EDIT: powered site $48p/n no shade. Need to pay extra for shade. Need to ask as this isn't available online. Was given a site with absolutely no shade in 39 degrees. Site was small, no room for car and camper together. They say they are waiting for trees to grow but these sites really shouldn't be used until there is more shade or reserve for largest air con units. Pool was unpopular. Bathrooms ask...

Great location and great value
Large room with a wonderful view over the city. A short 5 minute walk to the mall. Wonderful basic complimentary breakfast with opportunity to upgrade to a la carte.
The hotel is located walking distance to City Center and smith street mall. Even waterfront restaurants and bars are just 15 mins. walk apart. The taxi transfer airport to hotel takes less than 20 minutes. Friendly reception staff arranged a change of our desired bed configuration upon notice. Rooms are basic but spacious. Nice restaurant on premises available for lunch, dinner and its where you got...
Great view, very clean room. lovely continental breakfast. staff were helpful and friendly.
Perfect view but Lock your door sometime the cleaning staff walk in when you are getting dressed
Stayed here a few times on business trips, the staff are friendly, customer service is above and beyond, couldn't fault it. All the rooms I’ve had are clean and the beds are comfy. Close to all the cities amenities. Will definitely stay again.

We had a great stay, reception were lovely once we arrived, a little difficult to get hold of prior to arrival. We had a nice shady site that was plenty big enough, was a tad awkward as the site boundaries weren’t clear but we just lined up between the trees. Amenities were cleaned daily but being school holidays, they saw a lot of traffic. Much cleaner when kids aren’t around. We loved cooking off...
We enjoyed our stay at this park. Loved the spa pools. Amenties were clean. Office staff were very friendly & helpful despite having to deal with some rude people concerned about a water issue that was being worked on to be resolved. We thought it was very generous of management to offer guests bottled water during their stay.
It is a very family friendly place. It allows privacy as well as things for children to do. With continued care and perseverance the Park should attract many more visitors. The dog park is a great idea. Having three water attractions entices children to use the facilities. Howard Springs, just down the road adds to the attractiveness of the Park. A pleasant venue for a stay.
We stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay. The sites are adequate and the pool was nice. One was a little murky but the smaller pool was great. Kids enjoyed the water park too. They especially loved the free buggies to ride around and the staff were friendly and helpful.
We've just spent 3 weeks here and absolutely loved our stay. Great location outside of town, felt very safe, but also easy access to shops and attractions. The sites are lovely and big, the amenities are nice and clean and the pool is really lovely, we spent everyday in there. The staff are wonderful, very accommodating with requests and do an amazing job around the park.
Stayed whilst visiting with family in Darwin. 2 brm cabin was clean, comfortable and had plenty of AC to keep us cool!! We got great use out of the pools and loved the peacocks wandering through the lush grounds. Will happily stay again

Best receptionist we ever met, very friendly and helpful. We‘ve stayed here for the second time now this year, we loved the clean rooms with the pool view, excellent meals at bar next door, shaded pool area. We definitely will be coming back!
Staff need retraining to deal with conflict resolutions. I turned up a day early to be told I had NO booking, until receptionist looked further. After checking bank statements found a deduction of $228. Rang hotel to be told it was for 2 days booking from the 10th. Jetstar flight to Darwin left Melbourne on the 10th and I stayed elsewhere. ?????¿¿??¿?
A punters, sports bar, pub restaurant style outdoor / indoor seating area downstairs (ground level) which features a cool band on Friday nights. They do cover songs with over 200 in their repertoire. Frontier offers pub meals & pizza menu.
Overall, it's hard to describe. I took an Uber from DRW, RMB150+, 11 kilometers. The room facilities are old and dilapidated, and the shower needs to be manually mixed with hot and cold water, which almost burned me. The room door is opened with a key instead of a card, which is the style of the last century. I arrived at the hotel in the early morning, and there was no one at the front desk. The door...
Friendly and helpful staff at the 24 hour reception, which was nice after our night flight. Cleanliness was so so, there was a towel missing in our room. Location is not picturesque but reasonably close to the center.
Very reasonably priced, accommodation kind of like a throwback to the 1980s style hotel. Close proximity to the things you need had a bath which was a bonus lotta hotel was nowadays don’t. Would stay here again.

This is a convenient spot to stay when you are catching a plane and a good spot to park car.
For an airport transfer it was efficient and convenient. Safe, quiet and clean property showing its age. Staff were courteous and efficient.
Thank you to staff from check in/out to the cleaners.
Great airport stoppver Great airport overnight stopover hotel free shuttle and rooms clean
Due to late arrival from overseas, it was too late to order breakfast and restaurant adjacent wasn't open until lunchtime, there was nothing around with in walking distance. Reception was not very helpful.
My partner and I didn't really like the room that we were using for 3 nights. It has that smell from the carpet and felt itchy everytime. I noticed most of the areas has a dust.. I had to cleaned and wiped out the walls and furnitures as I felt uncomfortable. No extra bin liners and the towels looks a bit yellowish. But the customer service were good. They all did a good job. Thank you.

Great location the rooftop bar and staff were awesome. Vey friendly helpful night manager greeted us upon very late checkin and the owner who shouted us a free drink up at the bar because of a blackout which wasn’t their fault and wasn’t out for long, but really appreciated it. We would definitely stay there again. Great location.
We loved our stay here! It’s “no frills” approach is done extremely well, and we enjoyed this much more than a couple of other hotels we stayed in in Darwin that were vastly more expensive and with little didn’t offer half the “bonuses” Zen did. The breakfast was adequate, free canapés were more like canapes but still welcomed, and the entire hotel had a distinctly “Darwin” feel. We thoroughly enjoyed...
My first time here and such a great place! Great sized apartment with kitchen and laundry amenities- the washer/dryer combo in the bathroom was a bonus. Balcony has an awesome view of the port, plus it’s perfect to watch the sunrise or storm clouds. Gym downstairs and the pool has a city view also Fantastic location to enjoy the city plus get in and out of the cbd easily
Just returned from several weeks staying at Ramada Zen Darwin and was a fabulous experience. The staff are great, friendly and obliging. Poor check-in and communication The place is really well located on the water front and the apartment room was spacious but the check in process was appalling. I felt for the staff as they were under pressure...
Smelly We arrived at midnight and stayed until the following day. The front desk staff were excellent and very helpful. Unfortunately, our room was not good. The smell of stale cigarette smoke and mould permeated the whole suite. It was so late that we didn't bother asking for a room change.
Bathroom tiles have black mould &glass and bottle wine on balcony when I walk into room & unfinished glass of drink!!! Air conditioning was very noisy…… By lifts, passageway and around room 236-238 was a real mouldy smell Yucky This hotel has detoriated!!! Disappointing
Restaurant was closed ( no explanation) Pool bar was closed ( no explanation) Apparently management has changed and rooms are no longer serviced daily ( was not informed on check in) If you are a gold member make sure to ask for your wine as it’s the only way you will get it.
The location is good, close to the pier and there are many restaurants nearby.
A highly perfumed foyer with view to match Very convenient to the waterfront area. Highly perfumed foyer gave a sense of cleanliness and elegance. Would recommend for choice of restaurants in the area plus 10 minute walk to main cbd

Great location, great and helpful staff, only criticism is the requirement to pay for parking and the very tight parking bays.
Beautiful property. Spacious and clean. Even the white goods were well maintained and had instructions on usage. Best accommodation in Darwin for families and single travellers. 5 stars!

Good onya D Town. Great stay here in a very affordable hotel. Reception and cleaning staff were of the highest nature and always a big smile.Very helpful with any request made.Well done to them.
The room I stayed 8n had a kettle, afry pan and a toaster as well as plates and cups.
All was good but I was disappointed with the TV 😞, it wasn't connecting 😕.
It's an easy walk into town approx 10 minute walk to Woolies. we had a car and found the location of Alatai handy to explore sites beyond the city.We had a studio ground floor appmt, the ensuite bath is dated but serviceable, the room was clean. overall very happy with our 6 day stay.

Very comfortable but needs a lot of fixing up door to the bedroom & bathroom came off. It appears to be very old.
The staff were friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but the walls were quite damp. There was noise from other guests during the nights we stayed there. The pool area was nice. The apartments are not close to the esplanade but the bus number 4 stops outside and the bus is free.

Apartment 4 is filled with ants there in the Kitchen, the bedrooms, the bathroom. They don’t clean the pool so it’s filled with seeds, dirt, and leaves. Not the best or the worst
Well presented and located 2 bedroom accommodation walking distance to Darwin CBD & Waterfront. Refreshing lagoon style pool and well equipped rooms.
Had the most pleasant stay recently. Kids loved the pool, apartment was clean & spacious. Very conveniently located in proximity to the city and waterfront.
Property is central, well equipped but quite old. The pullout bed was not suitable for sleeping as and the mattress has no padding on the springs. There was no toilet paper at the property!!
It's very comfortable and homey. I will stay here when I return to Darwin for sure! The pool is great too!

We stayed at the Hi Way Inn three times over the past month and would recommend it , the first night we arrived late and the only room available was Room 1 which has disabled facilities, this room is well designed and everything is within reach from wheelchair height with lots of room, we had a dog who had plenty of room to sleep on the deck , we also had a nice sitting area on the deck , the staff...
We got there after midnight and the staff was really friendly! Everything looks a bit older, but it is a very good value
3 just because the person i dealt with was nice. The room was small, the toilet ran all the time, the bathroom tap tap leaked. Good aircon in the room though. Was quiet and had a clean pool.
After mistakenly booking a Transit Room (no bathroom and very third world", I was offered an upgrade $20 for which I was very grateful. Good motel style room but be very careful of slippery floors in the walk through bathrooms. Good meals. Close to the Winnelle Hotel, which is a good Darwin Worker Watering Hole.

Very quiet and solid building. Withstood cyclone Tracey in 1974. Old but partly renovated. Budget accommodation. Comfortable bed. Receptionist/Cleaner was very nice. It was windy for the time we were there and the pool only got cleaned the day before we left.
We enjoyed out stay as the room had everything that we needed for our stay. The air conditioning worked well as it was still very hot even in early june. Lovely place to stay as a long or short term resident, however there was one particular member of staff who really tarnished my experience. As a young person I’m more than willing to forgive and forget, but one member of bar staff was very rude. I believe his name is Robbie, might as well call him Robbie Rotten. Amazing time at Youth Shack.. Entertainment each night if the week, with the friendliest staff.. particularly made to feel welcome by the bar man / Dj Lloyd .. location perfect, kitchen and pool area clean.. me and my friends will back next time in Darwin
Really good amenities (massive kitchen, laundry, big toilet blocks, a workout area, etc. ) and in a nice location. Cleanliness wasn’t the best - often the fault of the guests rather than the hostel (but maybe they could give the kitchen and bathroom a clean more often).
The place is located really well, with everything you could need at a short walk (bar, cafe, supermarket, busses...). It has a nice swimming pool with a bar and a big kitchen/common area with music until 10pm. During the weekdays it's pretty chill. During the weekend the spot turns into a mess. I went to have a shower in the morning and I found a bloke lying on the toilet, I kicked him a little...

Super nice, calm and clean hostel. We’ve got an absolutely clean room with fridge, TV and own basin. Nice pool area and friendly staff. Just the kitchen is a bit dirty... Best hostel we stayed in Darwin!
It's Darwin so you can't expect much for your money. However, the location is good, the WiFi is pretty decent and there are computers for free use. There is a decent amount of common area space and the rooms are about okay too. It's solely the kitchen that's really small and usually dirty that is a bother. Otherwise the place can be pretty loud at night.
Chilli’s hostel is located in the middle of the CBD. I arrived in mid January during the wet season when tourism was at its lowest. 16 weeks I was here due to the 88days, over the weeks felt like serenity. I stayed in a 4 bedroom with only me in the room for $168 a week. Brilliant. At week 12 I desired to get a car and park it in the back. To do this I needed to get the key in the reception to open...
Very nice, kind people and a good night's rest for the price. Breakfast is coffee, bread, butter and jam
There’s a fridge in the room! And AC. You can bring alcohol into the hostel, but strictly no glass! Free wifi on the whole premise, but slow. 26$ a day, 24$ if you book for a week (wet season price?) Very good and clean showers, but the toilets could be cleaner. Strange bunk bed ladder, not easy to get up and down.

We had such a nice stay here! Janette was extremely helpful and accommodating, the room was very comfortable and the location was fantastic. Will definitely be staying here again in the future.
Janette is an excellent host. She had lots of tips for places to go and things to do. Breakfast was very filling and was tailored to the time we needed and our food preferences. Our room was very neat and tidy. The layout of the facilities meant all guests had their own private room and it didn't feel like we were imposing on our host's home.
