Club Tropical Resort Darwin
Darwin, 622 Lee Point Road, Darwin 🧭 Map
spacious, nice balcony area. good price, lovely big grounds. liked that we had a full size fridge and microwave in the room.
Fantastically relaxed resort. Easy check-in with friendly staff. Massive pool area with towels provided and floating devices readily available. Nice and quiet area both whilst in the rooms and walking around resort to get to either to the restaurant or pool. Have stayed multiple times, once whilst stayed during the Wet season there were ants throughout the Bathroom, front desk staff organised the delivery...
Rooms very clean, staff very friendly and accommodating. Have stayed before and will happily stay again.
Excellent location close to the beach. Competitive rates for rooms.
Spacious rooms
Beautiful gardens which will be amazing in 5-10 years.
Great pools
Just had the best steak and salad!!
Not over priced.
Quiet
Near coast, and close to city
Very friendly helpful staff.
Great place to stay! Comfortable rooms, super friendly staff, good facilities, the bar and restaurant are great and the 2 pools are awesome. Love the location, recommend walking down to Lee Point beach at sunset, just beautiful! Better than anything in Tiwi!
Amazing resort! Helpful and friendly staff, spotless rooms, 3 different pools to relax in. They have a lovely restaurant on site which is open to the public and also provide room service for guests. You really can't go wrong 😍

The location of this hotel is good and it is very convenient for travel! I like the swimming pool of this hotel very much. It is very romantic and has a good sense of design. It's a pity that there are no towels in the hotel pool area. I couldn't find a waiter to change the towels in the room after staying for a week, so I couldn't go swimming 🏊🏻♂️ It's a pity! The hotel dinner is quite cost-effective...
Easy car parking, restaurant on ground floor, secure, generous sized room and bathroom
Most of the staff are very friendly and very accommodating. However, some need to be properly trained for ACCOR loyalty program. There were two incidents that the number wasn't put in either correctly or properly. And the points weren't accrued!
Top place to stay. Great room. Good facilities. A bit of a shame we didn't know pool was being renovated though. Will be great when finished though.
We went to Darwin in the hope of residing at a hotel with a pool and we paid and booked accordingly. Upon arrival we were told the pool is out of commision, no reduction in tariff was offered. We could go to another Mantra hotel and pay to have a swim,go figure.
We had a booking for approximately 8 days on the second stint of 6 days we had to chase up for fresh towels and tea and coffee top ups, fully...

Excellent location in the heart of CBD. Huge Woolsworth store and restaurants within walking distance. Mattress was little too hard and pillows were flat n musty. Cab ride from airport was abt $35 and 20 mins away.
Found this hotel too basic not at all like the usual Hilton Hotel. However the staff at the reception (the French man can’t remember his name) was most helpful.
Excellent stay. Nice amenities and close to the action in Darwin. Will definitely be staying there next time in Darwin.
It's quite satisfactory and the facilities are old, but it still deserves the Hilton name. The house is relatively humid and clothes cannot be dried. The breakfast was very good and the buffet breakfast was reasonably priced.
Great room size with 2 double beds and good bathroom.
Easy valet service for hire car and reasonably priced. Easy to find carparks around the hotel during the day.
Good restaurant for breakfast and quick room service in the evening.
Very friendly helpful staff.
Great location.
This is only my second visit to this property. The breakfast is delicious, the service is good, and as a Diamond member, the Hilton Lounge was wonderful, overlooking the gorgeous multi-colored turquoise sea for Happy hour. Manager Oswaldo was so accommodating when we checked in and has super product knowledge about Darwin and Hilton properties in general. We had a marvelous conversation about the Hilton...

Overall my stay in one of the hotel rooms was comfortable enough. But to have no onsite guest laundry was annoying. The lighting in the room would describe as 'mood lighting'. There was a lamp on each side of the bed, a lamp on the desk and one dim downlight above the bedhead, but no central ceiling mounted light.
For me, uninterrupted harbour views were the highlights of my stay, I watched some unforgettable sunsets from their balcony. The apartment itself was very pleasant, spacious, nicely furnished, the bed was very comfortable; kitchen amenities great. The staff at the reception was super nice and helpful, I found them to be a genuinely nice people. I must mention Samir, but everyone was great. Thank you...
Lovely one bedroom apartment with plenty of space & large balcony. Nice pool, limited deck chairs, no shade, King bed was 2 king singles pushed together.
We got fire alarmed 3 times, which was annoying, obviously a fault somewhere. The pool needs more lounges, there was only 6, so often there was nowhere to sit. Staff were lovely, & very helpful.
Reception was inadequately staffed at 2pm for booking in - 30 plus minutes waiting.
No cloth to wipe the bench in our apartment.
The location is perfect but this place do not have a daily cleaning and no restaurant on site.
The staff are very friendly and helpful though
The aircon brokedown for a night and it was really hot.
Bins inside the room are too small given that the cleaning doesnt come everyday. They said it's every 7th day. We stayed for 4 nights by the way. Will definitely have to ask this everytime I book Mantra...

Standard room but poor facility and amenities!
The room is generally clean, the facilities are not too old, and it is in the city center. However, slippers, mineral water, toothbrushes, and toothpaste are not provided. The front desk suggested buying them at the supermarket opposite. 🤣
I stayed 5 nights, I didn’t like the room in 4th floor at the start (as I requested a higher floor room and quiet room, but I got a room next to the elevator) the TV wasn’t facing the bed. I then changed to another room in 8th floor, room was great but the shower room door couldn’t be closed so the water was everywhere and it wouldn’t dry; also cleaner told me cuz it was public holiday they are not...

Good location and we have a nice stay in this place. We have the apartment type room and it's really good coz I always looking forward everyday to the sunset more beautiful than expected.
Generally, the hotel serve as a good location for day trips to out of Darwin. There are public parking lots outside the hotel which are free, as there are limited lots within the hotel's open air parking compound except the underground. There are limited amenities except a small pool. The room are very basic but the balcony added a good atmosphere for dining with a view.
The property is great and staff are friendly. There is a shopping centre within walking distance that is really handy. My only issue this visit was the outside noise at night. We were on the 2nd floor so this might not have helped. It is close to where my sister lives so very convenient. Have stayed here a few times and will again on my next visit.
We had a fantastic time staying at the Quest. Bed & pillows were so comfortable. The staff gave exceptional service. I would recommend this hotel. It was so close to where my Aunty lived so it worked out well.
I liked the security of having an electronic keycard to access building, elevator & room.
However i did not like the few small cockcroaches in my room across my bed, nor the noise from the 3 distinct different dogs I could hear during my stay within the apartments (2 were to the bottom right of my apartment balcony & the other above).
Not very conducive to sleep when recovering from redeye flights...

Beautifully renovated with huge modern rooms and a gated car park.
First time visit. Rooms were lovely except we didn't need a key card as the door didn't lock.
Dinner was lovely in the pool bar.
Brekky good to, but food not very hot on the buffet.
great pool, staff, cleaning, rooms are older styles which gives nice spacious feel. pool is great with long opening hours. Woolworths across the road with a bus stop but that corner does get a bit rowdy sometimes, enough to warrant security guards from Woolworths to come out and supervise people. easy to walk to anywhere in Darwin city.
Average hotel. Seems a little dated - but rooms are lovely and clean and comfy beds.
Pool area nice. Dinner by the pool option.
Breakfast slightly overpriced but good options.
UPDATED - reduced service stars as I didn't realise until my early morning shower there was no shampoo and they hadn't replaced floor mat ...so had nothing to stand on 😐 I could live with this ....but the unconcerned attitude...
Second time staying at this Hotel and never disappoints.. This time was a 3 night stay with my family of 4. We stayed in a townhouse, which had kitchen. 2 Adults, 2 teenagers. Was clean, neat and close to Shops. Pool was clean and lots of lounge chairs to chill on. Kids loved the pool and so did us adults. Reception staff were lovely, as was the Bar Staff. Room made up everyday. No complaints what...
Room and stay was fine. Menu basic and underwhelming. The pool area is nice, but it is understaffed for the bar area with the one or two staff members starting at breakfast shift and still there for closing, which doesn't seem right.. but even though they looked stressed and overworked, they were doing a great job. Overall, I would have no problem with staying here again, I would just go elsewhere...

Dusty fan, and ripped shower curtain, other than that it was awesome, will come back again
It is only a few hundred meters away from the airport, and it is very convenient to walk. This place is suitable for transit. There is a bus stop about 1 km away. Now the bus in Darwin is still free.
Nice view, easy to travel around
The hotel is located near the airport and is within walking distance. The hotel has a car for free. It is an ideal place to stay for transfers and morning flights. The room facilities are not new but complete and clean. The hotel environment is good. The restaurant is good and there is a swimming pool

The hotel is well located to shopping and restaurants, as well as easy vehicular access. Their downside is the limited undercover parking and the need to book a space. Otherwise, you will need to use available, nearby public spaces.
The hotel has automated checking, but staff were on hand to make sure all goes smoothly. If a second key is required, it has to be generated by staff.

Safe and secure building, lovely room service and food options.
Beautiful pool and bar area.
good location and maintenance, every thing is a bit old but fits the price

The property is tired. there was what looked like mould in the shower. The toilet seat doesn't have the rubber buffers underneath it, so moves around a bit. The bathroom bin is chipped. Apart from this,...
Peaceful, friendly, ideal location.
A great location, clean, quiet and wonderful customer service. Friendly housekeeping staff and beautiful surrounds.
Initially I was given a corner room with poor ventilation, but after negotiating with the front desk I was given a different room, which was much better. The hotel is in a great location, right by the sea, surrounded by parks and green spaces. Unfortunately the sunset market is not open until the end of the wet season in May.
For a hotel that appears to be a luxury ****** hotel the customer service is awful. Staff are very unfriendly, unhelpful, and unsympathetic. You can use the infinity pool on weekends for free if you are not a guest, so I would recommend not staying in the hotel and just enjoying the pool and ******.
It was far from everything .. front desk staff was nice as was the concierge .. the big pool was out of order and the gym was good

Stayed here April 2025. You could not find a better place to relax and unwind. There was a well stocked fridge and staff were very friendly and helpful. You have everything at your front door here. Lagoon, wave pool, amazing pick of eateries and bars, live music. Will be back for sure.
Great hotel - ideally located … it’s in the tropics so there is a touch of tropical mold smell that you find everywhere in Darwin
Older hotel in very good location near the waterfront. Small rooms and bathrooms. Checking in was ok for us but our friends with two other rooms had extreme difficulties. We arrive a few minutes early about 2:30 and their rooms weren’t ready. That’s ok because we were early and staff said they’d be ready by 3:00. But there was an IT issue and the system was down. Breakfast was great, pool was great, staff was great.
People are nice, but hotel is only ok. It’s a little dated and some refreshment is needed. Shower has a shower curtain which reminds me of 3 star cheap hotels from last century. Does not look or feel the price I paid for it. Go to the Hilton Garden Inn next door. Looks old on the outside but they’ve fully refurbished it internally early 2023.
A refreshed reception and pleasant outdoor dining and pool area disguise rooms which are in need of refurbishment. While the hotel has done its best with modern furnishings, the bones are old and tired and the lack of balconies and opening windows is a missed opportunity. If you're keen to try the Hilton brand in Darwin you need only pop next door to the more intimate Hilton Garden Inn which has...
The hotel was to be the pick up location for the next leg of our trip.
Hotel was comfortable enough, but the rooms are looking pretty tired and worn out. Ignore the happy hour at the hotel bar, it's a joke with barely any money off the drinks, and hit a local pub/bar for a better deal instead

Didnt stay here just visited the bar. Great service, friendly and quick to serve! My only comment would be they have really limited options for non alcohol - got soda water because their menu didn't have any options of non alcohol drinks and I didn't want to stand there for ages asking options. Amazing pool as a view was awesome and very laid back vibe!
Walking distance from airport, so nice!
Beautiful lobby, pool, and great place to have meals poolside.
Rooms are average, but clean, and with small balconies. I'll stay here again for sure.
It's quite dated and rooms are more like a motel than a hotel unless you get more than a standard room, I.e. bungalows, etc.
No lifts so if you have heavy luggage make sure you get a ground floor room.
It is of convenient distance to the airport and there is a shuttle bus but don't count on them picking you up from the airport.
Location suited as I arrived on a midnight flight. Check in was incredibly slow. Maybe 10mins per guest. Room was hot a stuffy so had to wait for the air-conditioning to cool the room. Bathroom was fine.
I had my share of bad experiences, HOWEVER... All bad experiences were personally dealt with by the assistant manager and each problem was dealt with by a proper solution. I will never hesitate to come here for a nice room and amazing services. The staff and maintenance crew here are definitely the best!
Meh. Close to the airport which is good. New interesting menu but the food was bland. Mine was cold by the time Ruth's got to the table. Both cold and hot taps ran hot, so showering was interesting.
