Susan River Homestead if perfect for families - so much to do, in a beautiful and relaxing environment. We took our mountain bikes and rode around the homestead, and went horse riding in the afternoon. Just perfect. Breakfast was included in our room cost - simple, but good. The room is very aged and quite pricy considering what you get. Would be a great place for camping as you can use all the amenities here. And it's very quiet at night. Horse riding is absolutely amazing, worth every cents of it. It was my first time handling a horse myself but with their help I was able to ride in trotting pace. Will definitely comeback for horse riding.

This place was absolutely lovely. I had the best 5 nights here. We enjoyed the horse riding tour.. had the best conversations with Norm the owner ( what an absolute gentleman ) played tennis. The amenities were spotless and a nice hot shower. Will definitely be back.

I needed accommodation in Hervey Bay for almost 2 weeks for an urgent family matter and I was pleased with all the amenities at Allegra. Coming and going was very easy and I felt safe and secure with all the security measures in place. I needed good wifi to continue to work remotely and connection was always good. The apartment was comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay.

I stayed at the Grand Mercure Allegra with my wife and 2 young kids. The room was extremely spacious and well equipped. The pool was heated, very large and with nice shaded seating areas around. The staff were also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Directly overlooking Shelly Bay with its sandy beaches fit for a beautiful relaxing walk or exhilarating workout before breakfast. Our second stay at Shelley's and we love it even more. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Best thing is the easy access to the beach and shopping.

Shelly Bay resort almost scored a five star rating from us. The location and position is brilliant. The staff were lovely and very friendly. Our unit was well presented and had everything we needed. From the welcome to the farewell at checkout we felt valued as guests. Nothing was too difficult for our hosts. The rooms a spacious and very comfortable, with everything you need there. View from the rooms are so good. This is where we will stay when in Hervey Bay. Oh and the Indian Restaurant is so good eat there at least once when you visit!!

Best park in Hervey Bay. Ammenaties are always clean, lawns and gardens are lovely, and Brad is a fantastic Manager. $36 a night, power/water (non peak times). It’s a few kms walk to the beach, which is handy. Dogs are allowed, unlike the council parks.

The environment is very good, the independent cottage is well-equipped, cooking is very convenient, and it is quiet and clean. There are many fun things to do around, Dasha Island and Lady Ellie Island are very beautiful.

Close walk into the town with cafes, restaurants, shops and bars. Great facilities and additional activities for families. We had a ensuite camp site and it was fabulous. So nice to have a clean, private bathroom while camping.

I absolutely loved staying in the Deluxe safari tent. Had all the culutery provided. Great view of the pond. The colour scheme of the tent actually made it feel as If you were staying in the Safari. 😅🥰 My kids also loved all the amenities provided for children. Jumping pillow, games room and play ground area. Definitely look forward to staying there again.

We stayed in unit 3. It is huge. The walk in robe was bigger than some single bedrooms. Wonderful pool. Easy access under ground parking. Very affordable. Awesome location. Highly recommended.

Great place inside, managers always help me out (same job just down the road). I see they are getting some random low ball reviews from fake people. Google helped me out with fake reviews hopefully they fix Charltons. So people get the real picture of what a great place it is.

Stayed for 1 week with work, clean, easy to find, decent beds etc, limited free wifi but worked flawlessly. Able to accommodate 4 of us for work

Specious apartment, big bathrooms with great shower. Sea front, not far to Spar and food works, half hour walk to Woolworths, ALdi, Botanic gardens. Wifi signal is very weak, we can only get it right next to the door.

Parking right outside the rooms and a very friendly and helpful receptionist. The fan and AC in the room worked well and weren't too noisy. Body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and shaving cream provided.

Staying here was an absolute pleasure. The rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed with a fantastic view. The bed was the first comfortable one our backs had seen after a week of traveling. We were fairly happy that we chose to stay here over other places in Hervey Bay. There was some milk and juice in the fridge upon arrival which was a nice bonus. Hired a superior cabin for a few nights. A tight spot to park next to when tents and vans set up opposite. This cabin needed a serious spring clean. Under the bed was especially gross. This complex is centrally located in close proximity to bay and many good restaurants and coffee shops. The unit we stayed in was well equipped and spotlessly clean. This is a self check in property but any staff we encountered were well presented and very friendly. Will stay again.

Excellent value. Room was clean with everything you could possibly need. Very happy. Check in was very easy with keys waiting for us. Recommend room No. 6 for two people, it has been recently refurbished and was perfect for a couple. Would like to come again.

We booked a family room. An excellent size Queen bed in a proper bedframe in one bedroom and two firm single beds in another room. Vwery clean and well set up room with a good kitchenette.The lounge room had two large sofas. You can tell this is an old motel but it's been given an update that made it very comfortable. We stayed @ Beachside Motor Inn for our honeymoon. The room was so clean and comfortable and all the staff were lovely. It was such a wonderful choice, great quiet location, great price. So happy with our stay. I feel refreshed and content.
