From the moment you walk in to reception you are greeted by friendly staff who are willing to go above and beyond to make your stay amazing. Really nice clean and spacious apartment in a good location! Our family called late at night but reception was kind enough to let us book and wait for us to arrive. Great for a weekend escape or holidays. Caters for families and very handy to the supermarket, fuel, restaurants, and beaches. Ideally, located in Urangan, these 2 storey townhouse villas are self-contained and have everything you need, even a garage for your car. My ideal home away from home with all the creature comforts. Had a great time in Harvey Bay. The Grange has just had a change of guards with new management..both ( sorry not sure on names) where super friendly. Rooms super clean and the pool bar opens at 4pm Dailey and has the best Long Island iced teas in Australia. Resident people very friendly also. Dog friendly and close to most things.

Very clean . Spacious appt . However Being an older person I could not use spa as there are no steps or seating ! So money wasted there . Couldnt get in and would never be able to get out ! Had the 2 bedroom swim up room, could have had extra sun lounge on the patio (1 is not enough for 4 people) also needs a BBQ. Pool is excellent (plenty of loungers there). Short walk to shops and restaurants. Room is excellent, nice and roomy.

Had a large apartment on the 3rd floor looking out to the ocean. Small balcony but big enough for a holiday and outdoor eating. Underground parking with security roller door. Good electronic security all round the building. Lovely very clean pool infact the whole apartment block was very well looked after. Helpful friendly staff and easy check in and out. Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous staff. We arrived at our room only to find the shower over a bath that was sealed in to hip height, which was impossible for me to use. They very kindly upgraded us. Nothing was too much trouble and always friendly. Room was lovely but the bedrooms need ceiling fans and a dust pan would come in handy. This was an apartment and had a full sized fridge, proper stove and even a dishwasher. ...

Excellent and friendly staff. The room was great except for a minor issue with the smell coming from the drains. We could not use the spa at all and were very disappointed as we paid extra for that. When raised with the staff, they were accommodating and very prompt to send maintenance. Overall happy with the facilities and within walking distance to the beach and other cafes. The perfect place for a holiday. Smartly outfitted rooms with all the accessories and facilities. Directly overlooking Shelly Bay with its sandy beaches fit for a beautiful relaxing walk or exhilarating workout before breakfast. Our second stay at Shelley's and we love it even more. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Best thing is the easy access to the beach and shopping.

From the welcome to the farewell at checkout we felt valued as guests. Nothing was too difficult for our hosts. The rooms a spacious and very comfortable, with everything you need there. View from the rooms are so good. This is where we will stay when in Hervey Bay. Oh and the Indian Restaurant is so good eat there at least once when you visit!!

Lovely spot to spend a few nights. The road and foot traffic noise is loud and frequent from early morning to early evening every day, the sound seems to echo off the building/s. The sunrise & sunset from the 3rd floor where we stayed in an Airbnb was quite spectacular. You can see the jetty to the right where the sun rises in the morning and to the left behind the rock wall where it sets in the evening...

Pier One is our first choice stay and have stayed many times. Probably the best units in the bay, walking distance to everything you will need. Staying here was an absolute pleasure. The rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed with a fantastic view. The bed was the first comfortable one our backs had seen after a week of traveling. I found the management to be helpful, friendly and down to earth. Having two small children, I really appreciated having the continental breakfast in the fridge waiting for us. We were fairly happy that we chose to stay here over other places in Hervey Bay. There was some milk and juice in the fridge upon arrival which was a nice bonus. Only disappointing aspect was the wi-fi. Which only worked when seated outside of the apartment. Otherwise a nice relaxing stay and plenty of good features in the apartment.

Great park. Clean and well appointed with facilities. Honestly the most helpful and friendly staff we have ever encountered. Brilliant customer service. Park is very kid friendly with kids activists scheduled each day from crafts and games to circus performers and more in school holidays...all free. Park is gated and offers a pretty good level of security for a park. We where stoked!

The road in front of the cabins was extremely noisy at times & loud for the most part as its on a pretty busy road. Cabins were excellent & the grounds are maintained very well. Staff were exceptional. We did know that the beach was a short walk so we booked thinking the canal was usable which it isn't. Cabins are large & having an oven was very helpful. The BBQ facilities are good, nice & clean....

We have stayed at this park several times and always enjoyed our stay. Tonight the campsite beside us is playing their music at a level that is making it impossible for us to sleep. I would suggest a rule in regards to music after a certain time.

Just stayed there 1st week of new year. Very tidy park. Happy with all the staff and other guests was a pleasant stay and will be returning at the end of this year with family. Highly recommend it.

We have stayed here twice. Highly recommend. Always a friendly welcome. Comfortable room, hot shower, abundant parking, and right on the esplanade. What more could you want? Not far from gorgeous cafes and restaurants too.

We recently overnighted enroute to Lady Elliot Island. This is a very well priced and well maintained motel with nice, clean, spacious rooms with all amenities. Friendly staff offering great assistance. Good location for restaurants and other activities. We highly recommend and will overnight here again on our next visit to Hervey bay in 2023.

Clean room, friendly staff, great location. Downside the rooms are super close as you would expect with a motor inn can hear next door snore 😴 spa doesn't work and restaurant and bar looks like it has been closed for a while. Disappointing if you booked for use of the restaurant and spa as we did.

Accommodation is ok but they don't have enough parking for every unit. If your spot is taken you'll have to park on the street 😕

This motel was really comfortable and close to the water, the Beds were comfortable and the room was quite spacious. I liked in particular that there was a separate room with two single beds and a small kitchenette that suited us for preparing small meals like porridge, and toast for breakfast. The two bed room was a really great size, and layout, older room but very functional and practical for a family of four. The staff were friendly and helpful. The motel is located directly across from the beach. The price was incredible for the location

I would recommend this Motel as we enjoyed our stay. Rhys was very helpful , assisting us with our trips and even phoning one of the companies to arrange our pick up outside the motel. The room we had was on the second floor up a flight of metal stairs , so remember when you book , you have to carry the suitcases . Enjoyable stay in rustic cabins. We booked a rather last min trip to Hervey Bay over the NY period and was surprised there was availability at this property. I liked that each cabin was separate, and had lake view. My daughter absolutely loved the turtles and ducks. You only need to stand on the lake edge and within minutes about 50+ turtles will appear (no kidding). HOT TIP: do not feed them bread...

Nice and tranquil cabins situated on a lake in Urangan. Cabins are spacious, comfy and clean. Very quiet place to stay and has kitchenette with basics which is great. Lots of bird life. Advise not to leave food unattended on the patios. Has basic pool and ample parking, wifi however onsite is rather poor.

Situated in a great spot, walking distance to the beach and pet friendly. Eddie our dog loved her stay in a large cabin with a choice of beds for her to sleep on. Hired a superior cabin for a few nights. A tight spot to park next to when tents and vans set up opposite. This cabin needed a serious spring clean. Under the bed was especially gross. Susan River Homestead if perfect for families - so much to do, in a beautiful and relaxing environment. We took our mountain bikes and rode around the homestead, and went horse riding in the afternoon. Just perfect. Breakfast was included in our room cost - simple, but good. We attended a wedding of a dear friends' daughter. Had the most amazing time! The room is very aged and quite pricy considering what you get. Would be a great place for camping as you can use all the amenities here. And it's very quiet at night. Horse riding is absolutely amazing, worth every cents of it. It was my first time handling a horse myself but with their help I was able to ride in trotting pace. Will definitely comeback for horse riding.

This place was absolutely lovely. I had the best 5 nights here. We enjoyed the horse riding tour.. had the best conversations with Norm the owner ( what an absolute gentleman ) played tennis. The amenities were spotless and a nice hot shower. Will definitely be back.

Just across Urangan pier. Plenty of fishing,food and drinks. Very quiet with buzz in the air towards evening. Very secure and the hosts are very nice.

I don't think I've seen quite as many mobility scooters about after dark before. This end of hervey Bay is relatively quiet and away from the busy part but and Uber is only $15 or so.

Excellent accommodation. Very comfortable, spacious and spotless. Great service. Near a couple of good restaurants and the pier. Close to airport and the marina. Need a car or taxi for groceries etc and to get to a decent beach.

Not your average 'hostel'. Laid back atmosphere and quiet. Most people seem to be here long term and keep to themselves or to small groups. Has an outdoor area, but this is where people also smoke so if you aren't a smoker or fond of being around smoke I would suggest that you don't stay here. There isn't another area to sit if you'd like to eat outdoors other than a very small table and folding chairs...

I've stayed at Buzers many times. it is just terrific. It's not the Hilton but for the price and service it's the next best thing. Dave & Wendy are just great.

The Buyers is a really nice accommodation and the location is directly next to the beach. The staff is really friendly and is has a nice atmosphere. The kitchen has a lot of good equipment and it is very clean. The bedrooms hat single beds and offer towels as well which is very nice. The Price-performance ratio is awesome! I can really recommend this Hostel/Motel.

For a back Packers lodge it's great. I stayed with my kids there so that was interesting. Kids loved it. Kitchen area is well looked after . Bathrooms clean and rooms were clean too. Beds were comfy and clean no bed bugs here

We came for a one night stay and the room at Eden by the Bay was absolutely amazing- very spacious and comfortable. A lovely pool in the heart of the hotel. The location is fantastic as it is walking distance to everything you need for a fantastic holiday - beach, meals, shops. We will definitely be coming back to stay longer!

Prefect location to restaurant and shops. Stayed at room 210 was absolutely amazing. Smelt so clean when we arrived and was spotless. All modern facilities, and love the beach vibe. Nice selection of kids toys, and nice big flat screen tv would say it’s at least 65cm was great to watch movies on. Spa bath in one of the bathrooms which was so nice to relax in. Room is relatively new and comfortable. What wasn’t great is the strong and pertinent smell of chlorine / bleach that must have been used for cleaning. Couldn’t get rid of it by opening windows and airconditioning smelled even worse…good we didn’t need it. And, this is the first hotel in my life that has prompted me for a key after being 5 minutes late checking out (at 10 am). Not the memory you want...
