My husband was in hospital and I needed a place to stay overnight. I booked a room online and then contacted the manager as I was going to arrive late. He was really nice and told me which room I was in and left it so I could enter. The room was vey old and dated but clean and tidy. It was quite well appointed. It did have a new TV and air conditioner which was great. For $114 the night it was manageable

Clean, simple, functional family accommodation. My whole family enjoyed the stay here with low noise levels, clean rooms, not far from shopping and restaurants. a good place to stay with family. Not far from Charlestown shopping centre and a short drive to Darby street

I have stayed in several motels over the past couple of weeks varying in price The Panorama Inn was terrific. Great customer service, room was lovely and had everything I needed at half the price of other motels.

The rooms are very clean and functional. Beds are pretty comfy. If they had better pillows I would have given the rooms a 4 star rating.

Just returned today after 4-night stay. Looks average from outside however, ticked all the boxes for us. Stayed in an air-conditioned Queen Room with a balcony. First sanitised and wiped down everything when initially got in (just precautionary measures due to current pandemic) and pleasantly surprised, no visible dirt was seen on the wipes I used. Nice place to stay and open living with chairs outside your unit too that just opens in open space and can park car just in front of unit.

It is a very nice, comfortable house, with a spa bath, very good lighting, with a well-equipped kitchen, a very good option in Newcastle

Comfortable, neat, clean and tidy apartment with everything you may need for a self-catering get up & go. Staff always pleasant and helpful. A short drive from the beach & a short walk from shopping mall.

Quiet back street location next to a primary school. Delightful apartments with every amenity considered by a decent architect. We would definitely stay there again. An excellent place to call home for the night.

Was very interesting having no reception, but was very easy to enter and find my room, very clean and nice, would go again :)

The check in check out process was very easy. The room was spacious and clean.

Was placed in an upstairs room. Large, clean and well lit. Angela the manager is friendly. The bathroom is a little narrow when you are standing at the basin. There was a great area for me to work on my laptop. Lots of storage area. Would I stay there again? Yes.

Room was a bit small for my liking but I have a large house so I'm used to More space, other than that the room and bathroom were clean and tidy and serviced daily so no complaints. Reception lady was very friendly, Thank you for your hospitality Elizabeth motor inn

Clean , tidy and spacious rooms. Bed was comfortable. Ample parking. Close to pub an restaurants, takeaway. Highly recommend. Owner was lovely and helpful.

Had a one night stay at mayfield motel. The young manager greeted at reception and handed over keys. The room was clean, fresh sheets and towels and had a basic tea coffee making facilities. You can see the new management putting effort into overhauling the property which is great. Market is nearby and is a good stop for the overnight run.

I like this motel setup, it reminds me of the drive in motel style you see in many movies. All in all I'm happy with the accommodation all though I locked my key inside and there was no one working reception, I called a number on the door and was told that there was nothing that could be done to let me in, then hung up on and not answered on following calls. Luckily I was able to slide the window open

Retro style little motel. Easy check in, as we arrived late at night and the room was set up for us to just walk in and collapse. Clean facilities. Within very short drive of a fab cafe - onyx - where we went for a pretty awesome brekky the next day.

carpet and floors dirty and mold in shower. not able to adjust cooling as air conditioner was too high to reach unless you stood on a chair. Bed was uncomfortable and lumpy old pillows. Very out dated motel.

Wonderful location as it is very close to supermarkets and pubs. We were on our way to Sydney and stopped a night. Our stay was quiet and lovely. Affordable prices and complementary biscuits made it worth it. Definitely recommended..

Location was good, near the interchange station. It was clean. There was a slight mix up with my room but the staff were helpful and sorted it out.

Unfortunately not my cup of tea. It's clean but they have absurd rules for me. To start with, you can only check in from 2 pm not even 15 min before when there is beds ready (I've seen it). Kitchen is closed from 10:30 to 12:00. Laundry from 3 to 9pm only. If you want to stay a couple of hours after checking out they make you pay! (Like what?). Swimming pool has this cable inside, so I'm not sure...

Cleanest hostel I’ve stayed in yet. They clean the kitchen and the bathrooms daily. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. There are lots of covered places to sit and eat outside and inside, a comfy area to chill and watch a movie together, a pool and a pool table. The rooms have a good size and the vibe is very nice.

Best backpackers I've stayed at so far on my trip around Australia. Cleaned regularly and throughly, includes pool, pool table and plenty of sheltered outdoor seating. Rooms are a good size so you don't feel too packed in. Great vibe. Only thing I would add is a shower curtain to separate the dressing area from the wet area better.

Lovely B&B a short drive from the centre of Newcastle ($12 Uber drive). Hosts are very friendly and even provide a free drink on Saturday nights. Off street parking was easy. A beautifully appointed, clean and modern facility, convenient to the nearby shopping and dining strip while being placed in a quiet location. Staff were extremely helpful. A little confusing getting to your room as there isn't a reception, but the staff will contact you prior with instructions. Was there for business, so had a great room to unwind in when finished.

We were there for our daughters uni Graduation the staff at honey suckle were very helpfull

Had to call emergency after hours number twice to get entry to our apartment. 1st time when we 1st got there & our code didnt work so we were given a new one & 2nd time was when we were returning from our function & door would not unlock so it was done remotely by the gentleman we called....but other than that inconvenience everything else was fine.

Lovely rooms in a beautiful garden setting. This B & B is full of old world charm and warmth, which is only exceeded by the friendly welcome and gracious hospitality of the owners. Our 'unplanned' stay has proven to be truly serendipitous.

Hamilton Heritage B&B is lovley. The rooms are clean, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Also being pet friendly is great, a good fenced backyard and being allowed inside with their fur parents!

Great central location in Newcastle that is pet friendly. So lovely to find a B&B that welcomes and loves dogs, with a beautiful backyard. Laraine & Colin are so friendly and accomodating and make a delicious breakfast. We will definitely stay again when we are in Newcastle next and recommend to all our friends with fur-babies

I stayed here for a weekend whilest I was up in Newcastle and I could not have been happier with my choice! With everything you need within walking distance, the Hamilton Heritage is the place to be if you are just visoting Newcastle. The owners are very hospitable and take keen interest in your travels. The breakfast was delightful and was served with a warming smile.

We booked a budget room and although it was expectedly small, we had everything we needed: a comfy bed, powerful and hot shower, working A/C (also silent), a fridge, toaster and kettle. The main road location made it easy to access and the rates were pretty good as well considering we stayed during the Christmas break. The reception staff helped us put together the cot for the toddler so that was helpful of them. The morning we left the cleaning staff argued with us on the state of one of the rooms we had. In our defence we were a group of 11, one of which was a toddler and, of course...

We stayed here as we came to Newcastle for the night for the Paul Mccartney concert in October. The man who checked us in was so lovely, he told us where to go to get the shuttle etc. The room was spotless and just what we needed for the night. Honestly, for the price, I wasn't expecting much but we were presently surprised. They obviously take pride in their business and it shows.

Room was made up nicely, but didn't look like it had been cleaned properly before we attended. Floor hadn't been vacuumed, quilt cover was stained, "droplets" around the toilet bowl, there looked to be blood on the roller blind. The apt is managed by an agency which did not make an effort to contact you using other medium beside SMS. So, in convenience. At Aussie standard, the apt complex can be better clean - too many dry leaves on the ground - otherwise good place with good location.
