That's why I booked there
My preference of room was booked out for this stay
So I chose single room with shared bathroom and was a bit unsure what to expect
It wasn't terrible at all
I enjoyed having access to the balcony
I slept so soundly,I didn't move all night
I did dine in the bistro one evening the food was ready quickly and it was lovely
I was provided fresh towels for each of the 3 days I was a guest
I didn't utilise the communal kitchen but I think it is a great addition
Unfortunately the Air Conditioner was not working to make the room warm.
The hot water for the shower took a very long time to come through as in the water heater isn’t close to the rooms.
Linen was clean
It was so close and convenient to where i needed ro be, the room was clean and comfortable.
The staff were friendly and the only negative thing is that perhaps they don't have enough on as if they were in the front bar they did not always see you waiting in the back bar.
Would definitely stay there again.
One night stay whilst attending concert locally. Fantastic location for NEC; 5 minute walk. Staff helpful on arrival, friendly and attentive. Room small, but absolutely fine for a one night stay. Unfortunately, no hot water upon waking and unable to rectify as I left early and had a train to catch. Some cockroaches seen at check-in to room and at other points during the stay. Bistro downstairs for ease. Stayed on a Sunday, no noise from pub.
The room itself was good. The only negatives were just a small hole in the wall behind the door, and the blind was missing a part, but still worked perfectly fine. I'm easy to please though :)
For budget hotel condition was ok, was not sure my balcony door was completely secure but it was a good room
