Gulf Court Hotel

My experience at the place was incredibly disappointing. The staff were consistently rude, and there was no clear organization or system in place. It felt like they were operating in their own peculiar way that didn't make sense. They even refused delivery people from bringing orders to my room, and visitors were not allowed at all. To add to the frustration, check-out was unreasonably early.

And that wasn't the end of it. The air conditioning didn't work well, and cleanliness was severely lacking — I have a photo that shows just how bad it was. The staff continued to be rude throughout my stay. The price that I paid did not match the poor experience I had. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend that no one books a stay at this hotel.

Before the long review, the best way to sum up this hotel is: you get what you pay for.

Rooms are huge, but with very tired, old furniture and smelly carpets. The breakfast is great in choice - and ok in quality. Except for the fact that they WATER DOWN THE TABASCO! Times must be tough when a hotel can’t even buy fresh Tabasco… service at the front desk and throughout the hotel is kind and helpful - but not professional or organised in any way. Case and point: my room wasn’t cleaned for several days until I stormed up to reception and demanded someone come to clean. I come to Bahrain 1-2 per year. First and last time I’m staying in this place.

If you don’t care about small luxuries and just want a place that “gets the job done” then this is your hotel.
