The local receptionist was very unprofessional. I felt like he was giving more priority to the locals. Had to wait for a long time to get a room. Spacious rooms & prime location near Amwaj Island & Delomnin Mall. Disappointing service, no cleaning, noisy nights. Inconvenient parking access.

I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. The people were nice and friendly. The food was delicious and the rooms were modern and clean. The only thing that annoyed me was that the management was in a hurry to get us out of the hotel because, there were a bunch of us in the lobby waiting for the airport shuttle.

Staff is very friendly, fast, and accommodating. Very nice and clean building. They're at least three different malls within a 10-minute walking distance, one that's right beside the hotel. I haven't felt threatened while in the area and it's great that they have a pool and sauna I'm looking forward to trying.

Great location, rooms are a bit oddly configured but it began to feel like home quickly. I loved the fact the staff was great at remembering guests names and even anticipated what I would order for breakfast which is strange for me I felt like they were friends. Probably one of the finest hotels on the beach. The “villas” is the place to stay. Great food but the travel inside the property on the golf carts is a hassle.

Reservation recommended for restaurants, gets busy during holidays. The bakery on the right wing of the hotel has quite the Paris vibes — it’s good. The Mexican restaurant is equally good. It’s nice to stroll outdoors at night, but it’s just a walk from the main building to other restaurants, not an attraction on its own.

Went for brunch and must say, amazing food & service. Alcohol cocktails were adequate. Variety of the food buffet was great and definitely worth the value. Atmosphere was very nice and fun, and will surely visit again. One downside is its location if you’re not staying the weekend, as it’s a bit farther from the center of Bahrain. Must try it if you haven’t yet!

We had a wonderful stay in Sofitel, it is the best place to stay in Bahrain, the hotel is perfect the rooms and the facilities. One of the best employees in the hotel is Hussain, a respectable, smiling and helpful person who deserves promotion and praise. Good, clean and suitable place to stay, quiet and overlooking normal views, they have a gym and swimming pool at the top, but the description of the rooms was not in stone as we saw, the bed is small and the blankets need to be better.

I had a fantastic 5 night stay at the Gulf. Very helpful and polite staff. The food was excellent and some of the in-house restaurants are world class. A special shout out to Chris and Shenouda at the gym. It’s lovely people like them that make this place what it is!

This hotel was wonderful but the only problem was its lack of disabled or baby Pram access. The staff didn't know how we could get to the pool with our buggy without carrying down lots of steps. The best hotel in Bahrain. I really think everyone should book this. It was just overall a perfect hotel and new place. I have stayed at three other hotels in the Manama area and I must say this is the best hotel by far. And the prices are all very similar, sometimes even cheaper! Much more worth than staying at Rotana, exclusive to only the Middle East.
