Hyatt Regency Calgary

We stayed here for 5 nights (we checked out this morning) and it was such a lovely stay. Check in was quick and the front desk agents were lovely. Any time we needed to request something they were prompt. We only had 1 small issue during our stay and it was addressed quickly and we were given drink vouchers for the inconvenience. The pool and hot tub were incredible and the fitness centre was also great.

My girlfriend and I stayed here as part of our anniversary trip and had a great experience! Eric at the front desk was very helpful and started our stay off in an incredibly thoughtful way by sending up a bottle of champagne for us to celebrate with. The hotel is in a great location in downtown Calgary, very easy to get to and from. Our room was very clean and well maintained, and we loved the time we spent here!

The bedroom layout (in the Corner King Room) is pretty similar to most other rooms, however, it's really the bathroom that makes this layout shine. There is a hallway off the entrance that leads to this MASSIVE bathroom. And the coolest feature, heated floors! Wow, what a godsend.

Also, probably the first time I've seen this, there is a water filtration system attached to the side of the sink.

I loved the 65" TV in the room. I enjoy working on the TV with my laptop, as well as enjoying my streaming services. The bed was super comfy and I slept really well.

If I really had to nitpick, I'd point out that the hotel is right beside the C-Train line (light rail) and you do hear/feel the vibrations in the room. It's not loud, but you feel the click-clack of the tram going over the street. I was on the 16th floor and could still feel it on occasion. So if you're a light or early/late sleeper, be warned.

Super convenient location. Gorgeous finishes in this very modern room. Will definitely be back.

We had a great visit to Calgary and this was one of the reasons. Very nice staff, friendly. Great downtown location near so many good restaurants and bars/pubs including Stephen Avenue Walk. Really nice experience. Room was great, clean, spacious. What you hope for but don’t always get.

I wish I had asked the name of the young man who checked us in. He couldn’t have been nicer.

Our room was very big and very clean. The bathtub was deep and so clean I was able to take a bath. The towels were fluffy. The bed was comfortable.

The location is perfect. The pedestrian only street is right out the side door. The train is two blocks away.

I highly recommend and would stay here again.

100% would recommend to absolutely anyone needing a little getaway. We booked the romance package corner king suite for my 31st birthday, and they went above and beyond for me. There were delicious dipped strawberries waiting for me, a beautiful little cake which catered to my gluten free needs, the staff was incredible and the room was gorgeous with beautiful city views. Thank you for making my birthday a night to remember!

wow, i am amazed at this hotel! luxurious, tasty food, nice design. wonderful check-in. room service was amazing very friendly staff. beds were amazing, unfortunately in the fridge someone’s meal was still left in there but no worries! The wonderful staff replaced the fridge. also, very convenient because it’s connected to the Plus15 (see my other review for Thompson’s restaurant.)

The location is great. Everything is within walking distance and public transportation is super convenient. The staff were informative and available at all times. We had access to the club room which was great. The pool and gym are nice and the rooms are well decorated. The only downside is the beds were a bit hard and the pillows were either really hard or nothing to them.
