Calgary Marriott Downtown Hotel, Calgary1 / 17
9.1
Calgary, 110 9 Avenue Southeast 🧭 Map
A beautiful hotel, located right in the heart of downtown. It is easy to find as it is literally across the street from the Calgary Tower. What I really love here is that they have valet parking. Sometimes finding street parking nearby can be difficult so you can offload the stress onto them and have their valet service take care of you. Inside is well decorated and comfortable. Everything is designed...
This was my first time in Calgary. I can’t say enough about my time here at the Marriott. The staff made my stay exceptional. From top to bottom, their GM Glenn and all of his staff went above and beyond with their hospitality. The location of the hotel is perfect as well. Everything is in walking distance. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when in Calgary. Thank you all again. Until next time!
The room was very comfortable and clean. The view from the 10th floor is fantastic. Worth a five star except for the bathroom privacy. Designers who thought a barn door style door for a bathroom was a great option were only looking at styling. If you are concerned at all about sounds and smells, this hotel is not for you. I was on a group tour, so I do not have an opinion regarding the desk service...
My stay here during the Calgary Marathon weekend was exceptional! The hotel provided a free shuttle on race morning. The lobby is beautiful and so cozy and welcoming (smells amazing too!). The room is spacious. I'm not used to being in a place where it's still so light out at 9pm. Thankfully the curtains are blackout and I could go to bed at my usual early time with no problem. I thought the location...
I had a fantastic experience during my stay at the Marriott hotel in downtown Calgary. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city with easy access to attractions and dining options. The service was exceptional - from check-in to check-out, every staff member was friendly, professional, and eager to assist. The rooms are modern and impeccably clean, offering a comfortable retreat after...

My girlfriend and I stayed here as part of our anniversary trip and had a great experience! Eric at the front desk was very helpful and started our stay off in an incredibly thoughtful way by sending up a bottle of champagne for us to celebrate with. The hotel is in a great location in downtown Calgary, very easy to get to and from. Our room was very clean and well maintained, and we loved the time...
We stayed here for 5 nights (we checked out this morning) and it was such a lovely stay. Check in was quick and the front desk agents were lovely. Any time we needed to request something they were prompt. We only had 1 small issue during our stay and it was addressed quickly and we were given drink vouchers for the inconvenience. The pool and hot tub were incredible and the fitness centre was also...
The bedroom layout (in the Corner King Room) is pretty similar to most other rooms, however, it's really the bathroom that makes this layout shine. There is a hallway off the entrance that leads to this MASSIVE bathroom. And the coolest feature, heated floors! Wow, what a godsend. Also, probably the first time I've seen this, there is a water filtration system attached to the side of the sink. I...
We had a great visit to Calgary and this was one of the reasons. Very nice staff, friendly. Great downtown location near so many good restaurants and bars/pubs including Stephen Avenue Walk. Really nice experience. Room was great, clean, spacious. What you hope for but don’t always get.
I wish I had asked the name of the young man who checked us in. He couldn’t have been nicer. Our room was very big and very clean. The bathtub was deep and so clean I was able to take a bath. The towels were fluffy. The bed was comfortable. The location is perfect. The pedestrian only street is right out the side door. The train is two blocks away. I highly recommend and would stay here again.
The staff was incredible, restaurant was amazing and the room was super clean. Couldn't be happier with the stay at Hyatt

Amenities are great. Lots of options for food & entertainment. Shower was great, excellent pressure….. decent size room!
A decent hotel nestled in the SE quadrant of Calgary. Friendly staff. Clean rooms and a nice pool area for kids. A little run down - could use new lockers and upgraded hot tubs but splash pool and slide were good. Buffet is awesome but a bit overpriced. Decent items like prime rib and chicken, and some salad options and decent dessert items.
Mohave Grill is awesome. Several times I have dined here, the servers were attentive, always came to fill our water glasses, and the buffet, prime rib and desserts all are really delicious! The lobby area has a small cozy seating area with a few TVs and tables. Casino has plenty of slots and games and is as expected. The casino’s bar doesn’t usually get too busy so it’s nice to grab a drink and seat...
We upgraded to a kitchenette. Just a bar fridge, no full sized fridge, no hot plate/stove…just a microwave. So we found the kitchenette a bit basic for true “home” eating. More of a make due set up. We don’t restaurant but they did look quite robust. The front desk staff were excellent to work with. So helpful and positive. The restaurant staff was a lot less positive. I forgot an egg….asked to buy...
It was very busy. Our room was not ready at 4. But the staff was very kind. And gave us a gift card for our inconvenience. Was much appreciated. We had an event in the conference room and the staff was amazing. Our bartender Kim was a fabulous person and we were happy to see her at the buffet the next morning!!! Overall a fabulous experience in a beautiful environment!!!!!
Spent the night here after a flames game, The flames didn't do so well but we had a blast at the casino after the game! The entertainment was awesome! We watched a band for a 2 pc band in the bar, slipped over to the lounge for some karaoke, and played some machines! Great place to stay!

I don't often leave reviews but the service at this very conveniently located hotel is beyond all expectations. I had several encounters with the front desk staff and they were incredibly friendly and helpful. The bartender was truly wonderful recommending and serving local beers to us. And after inadvertently leaving an item behind, the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating in getting...
We came to check in at 5am after our flight got cancelled. Two lovely guys were helping us. Sadly we were given room that was already occupied so at 5am we went to the different floor hoping this time it will be the right one. Room is very comfy and clean tho. Our beds are super soft and breakfast is simple but good.
Our stay at Hilton Garden Inn Calgary Airport was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel's proximity to the airport made our travel experience seamless, while the stylish and well-appointed rooms provided a comfortable retreat. The staff's impeccable service and friendly demeanor added a personal touch to our stay, making us feel genuinely welcome. The on-site dining options exceeded our culinary...
Made a last minute reservation and the lady answering the phone was very nice and accommodating as we had a pet with us. She tried her best to put us in a room close to the side door for quick in/out for our dog. We had dinner and breakfast at their restaurant and food and service was great! Especially our server Hemant, he was so kind and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great meal. Our room...
Being so close to the airport, u was concerned it would be noisy with the airplanes landing/taking off. But it was very quiet, I appreciated that.
We enjoyed our stay in the hotel and appreciated the great service by front desk staff and in the restaurant. Prices in the restaurant were reasonable and we also liked the snack pantry and that was open 24/7. We got a lot of use out of the lobby seating areas and there are many spaces to hang out, a fireplace with seating and a long table to play games or eat at. Also, thank you to the hotel for...

Near the airport, free shuttle, nice rooftop view of downtown skyline.
Friendly check in staff, nice rooms and comfy bed. Lounge was nice, friendly staff and decent food, not super expensive. In the morning breakfast at the restaurant was good and very friendly service! Only negative was room was low on shampoo and only decaf coffee pods. Plus the pool and hot tub was closed for maintenance :(
At first thought it a bit far from the airport but still close enough. The beds are dreamy comfy, rooms very clean and a menu free breakfast!! Parked here while on vaca for $6 a night a very good deal. Highly recommend
Loved it. Clean Jacuzzi suite with pullout couch. Half kitchen, big shower. I had breakfast included in my stay. The breakfast service was EXCELLENT! I expected muffins and cereal, I got an eggs Benedict. Staff were very friendly and remarkably hospitable. Will definitely be staying at this location for all my future Calgary visits.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property earlier this week. Super clean, contemporary and well appointed room. Friendly and attentive staff. Gorgeous gym. Enjoyed a sandwich and great service in the restaurant. Excellent value for money!
Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly. Rooms were a bit small. Had all of the amenities. Would recommend

Always like the friendly staff and exceptionaly clean rooms. The pool also wasn't overcrowded this time so that was nice.
Far from the city, great service at the restaurants and bars and buffet. Keep in mind there is an indoor smoking area so the smell naturally spreads so if you're not a fan of the smell then you probably shouldn't be there. This was my case so I probably wouldn't come back but nonetheless I did have a great time.
Stayed here during Stampede (the last weekend) and I must say! This is one of the the best hotels I ever stayed at! The staff were VERY friendly and accommodating to us and helpful. Awesome staff, very helpful and polite. We enjoyed the prime rib buffet which we easily booked a table for using the OpenTable app. Quality of the food was excellent, great options, very tasty. We stayed at this resort several times and it was always a good experience. They often provide venues for concerts for which we come from Edmonton so it's convenient to be in one place. We spent a night here after flying into Calgary for a trip to Banff. Check-in was smooth, the rooms were clean, and the location is very convenient to the airport. The restaurant downstairs serves some good food that was much needed after a long day of travel. There is some airport noise, but it seems to be dependent on the active runway as it was fairly quiet. As a bonus, there is some wildlife nearby...
Friendly, cooperative, helpful and great people and team of people. Really enjoyed stay and love to come again. Clean room, tidy corridors. Amazing hotel! Rooms and lobby were extremely clean. We had our conference in one of their function halls and it was all well-organized. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Guestrooms feels luxurious. The gym and pool are also great amenities that we utilized. Overall, it all works on our budget and we will keep coming back for our future events. Thank you everyone for your great hospitality!
Overall a pleasant stay. Pleasing common areas and nice room. Check-in was efficient, and staff courteous. Restaurant food was very good and offered good selection of food and beverages. It took 2-3 minutes for shower water to get warm enough. Front desk and restaurant could not provide change so I could tip housekeeping or shuttle driver -- not even $20 in change in exchange for giving them $20 with...
Rooms were clean and spacious. Shower pressure was great and design was very modern. Sink water pressure on the weaker side. Staff are very helpful. Need to book airport shuttle upon check in (just ask). The pool has a WATER SLIDE. Only downside was location - slightly far from the rest of Calgary. But convenient if you want to be near airport.
A 4 star on the cleaning- they can improve a little bit on the that, but overall this feels like a 5 star hotel !! and It’s becoming one of my favourite hotels because it’s quiet and beautiful!!! We recently booked their hall for party and our experience was brilliant. We loved their food service, hall arrangements and their hospitality. The hall is very spacious and looks very nice. I highly recommend this hall if you’re looking for throwing any kind of party. My experience was 10/10. Thanks to Aparna and her team for their hard work, she is very helpful and very professional.
Very friendly staff. My cousin holds a business conference here weekly and stays for three weekend. No Idea What Others That Complained Are Talking About. I Feel Racism Or Some Other Agenda. Overall it was a really good experience, kids enjoyed the room the light up bed frames, TV in the bathroom... Shower was amazing.
1 elevator for the whole building wasn’t the greatest during the weekend. No fan in bathroom, which I understand they don’t because of smokers but it’s still an essential thing to have. The shower was noisy and has 6 shower heads which seems luxurious until you realize they don’t work. Lots of parking and the rooms are fairly insulated for noise which was pretty great. Staff is great an helpful.
Considering the deal we got on our room, I was really impressed by the quality of the room and service. The staff were professional and efficient during check-in. They manage lines here very quickly. Our room was not only comfortable; it smelled, looked, and FELT clean. Anybody that’s traveled knows that hotel rooms rarely feel clean even if they pass visual muster. Here, even the shower felt clean...
Cool RGB lights under the bed. The mattress wasn't super comfortable. The carpet felt clean enough. So did the bathroom floor, but I saw clear shoe prints. 🤢 The refrigerator worked nicely. The water pipes were loud. I'd randomly hear loud noises in the pipes when I wasn't running the water. That might not be good for someone trying to rest. The room was well appointed. Our family stayed in the suite one night, and it was excellent! The hotel was fully renovated last year according to the front desk. The hotel is easily walkable from the airport. I arrived at the hotel within 5 mins after collecting my bags. I used the Marriott app to request for dental kits and they were ready in my room when I arrived. The hotel gym is equipped...
So much better since their recent reno. Updated rooms are in line with other delta properties. Breakfast was great. Was a little loud in terms of hallways noise but given it’s an airport hotel people are up at weird times.
Hotel is good, and a walk from the airport. Staff is amazing! No hot tub/pool, but they will give you a key for the neighboring Marriott hotel for use. Restaurant available, yet pricey.
Need a room before a flight or a relaxing spot just after on. This is a good place. One of two hotels attached to the airport, the delta provides great comfort for price. I was able to use my points and was amazed by how few I needed for the service and room types. I've stayed a few times recently and have enjoyed each visit. Airport luggage carts can be taken to the room as a nice add-on for ease...

We loved our stay here. It was clean and our room was gorgeous. Nice woodwork and a very luxurious bathroom with hottub and massage shower. *NOT* a traditional hotel, but a genuine gem! Yes, the owners asked us to remove our shoes at the door, yes it is literally their home. Not really bothersome, and in my case (I'm half Filipina and also take my shoes off in my house) a welcome change. If you are looking for a welcoming experience, you've come to the right place. The hosts, Kim and John, are storytellers who have built it right into this inn. I was looking for a cost effective stay in Calgary, this was the spot. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast lady was a real queen!! The location was perfect for me, the room was clean and comfortable.
The walls are super thin. We could hear perfectly what the next door neighbors were saying. The queen beds were very small. The foyer was beautiful, the pool looked inviting, the breakfast room was great as was the woman who worked there. That's why I gave it a 4 star review
Nice place. Lots a homeless macleoud trail thou. They try and use the lobby to warm up at night. They were cooler than the cop that was there on his routine stop by to kick them all out for the management when they got there at 7
Pools water temperature was not regulated. Gave us twin beds even though asked for queen size. When explained the clock wasn't working in the pool area, the guy comes in and changes the time on the clock even though when it clearly needed a battery change. P.S. the clock still didn't work. Our room was clean and comfortable, and as a historic building fanatic, I geeked out on the glass doorknobs. 1 star off because the hall smelled of dog pee and the ice machine didn’t work (but I was able to call room service for ice) The breakfast was delicious....
Staff welcomes were exceptional. Room service was quick and efficient. Pool and Hot tub was relaxing. Our sleep was comfortable and quiet. Had a little trouble with pulling up shower knob could be due to my own arthritis. All in all can’t wait to return thanks once again.
Afternoon tea review: Truly the BEST afternoon tea in Calgary. Yes, it costs more than most, but it is worlds away from anything else you'll find in the city -- from the tea selections (divine!), to the delectable desserts and savories. The presentation is superb -- everything looks so pretty and beautiful. And, of course, you have the most amazing service at the Fairmont -- our server, Julie, was...
Remember to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking a hotel. This web site will compare countless booking websites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of my favorites in this area. I have been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure won't be let down. This really is all about the staff. The cleaning staff did...
Great location in the centre of Calgary. Nice hotel, very good food in the restaurant, both for breakfast and dinner. The staff is super atentive.

We had the entire lower lever suite to ourselves as nobody else was staying in the other rooms. The kitchen and den area was large and well equipped. We also had a private bathroom with a tub in our room. The suite was very clean and pleasantly decorated.
I booked a stay in Calgary to be with my kids and their partners. It was over Christmas, and the place was just perfect. Wood burning fireplace, billiard table, and it was decorated for the season. Beds were super comfy and host was attentive. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks Jess!
Wonderful location with a very comfortable sitting area on the bank overlooking the river
Very clean and nice AirBnB with everything you need. A comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. The host was fantastic and is always available and eager to share his knowledge of the area. We had a fantastic time!
Great place to stay! Quiet, relaxing, and affordable! Loved the view of the Bow river and the Jacuzzi tub, highly recommend staying here!
We had such a lovely stay. The room and common areas were exceptionally clean and fresh. We felt so cozy and comfortable. The gorgeous view of the river was so relaxing and not to mention the hot tub. Do not miss your chance to unwind and relax at this B n B.

Sandman Hotel Calgary Airport, Calgary1 / 41
Calgary, 25 Hopewell Way Northeast 🧭 Map
Ok my experience with Sandman was lovely. Kind and polite staff. Front desk people were helpful and cheerful! I had some issues with getting breakfast one morning and they were quick to help with that! Rooms in the sandman side are definitely older but still cozy and functional. Coffee in the mornings was great! The complimentary wifi and shuttle service to the airport were both great as well. Thoroughly...
NA -- Not sure what member offers are available. I don't believe I was offered any when I called the hotel directly to book my stays -- Stayed at the beginning/end if my vacation %26 left vehicle at hotel. Greatly appreciate the reasonable rate to allow me to do this. Huge perk. I will suggest the hotel to friends for this reason. Because of vrhicle parking I don't think I received a member rate. Staff...
Conveniently located by the airport and multiple restaurants. The pool and hot tub are fantastic size for just tiring out little ones before bed. The rooms were clean and comfy and the maintaince man was great too we had him replace a light bulb for us. The front desk staff is extremely kind and patient.
We really enjoyed our stay for 3 nights while attending a family wedding. The bed was super comfortable, and there was ample seating and lighting. The fridge, microwave and coffee maker were nice touches. There was one night missing in our reservation, however the check in clerk resolved that, albeit at the new rate. Scary that it was confirmed in my RSVP account, and never showed up in their system...
First night stay, prior to leaving for our holiday on April 12th, the room was very unsatisfactory. Soft bed, way too hot room, which couldn't be adjusted, and other issues. I reported our dissatisfaction and was upgraded for our return stay on April 30th for no extra charge to compensate for our disappointing first night stay. The room was very good the second stay, however the price is beyond...
The staff are friendly, the room are small but have everything you need. I only used the hotel for a one night layover. The shuttle service was super handy and convenient. The room we had was clean and had all the amenities I was looking for, would definitely stay here again, thank you.
