Won't be returning. First time here. Not really family friendly at all. The only thing was the pool. Great if you're okay with your kid slipping and falling constantly. Ours even smashed his head off the floor. Pool is falling apart. More than half the lights don't work. The vents are spray painted silver. No seating. Over full. The hallway to come into the pool is constantly backed up with people and full of shoes everywhere.
The rooms... the fireplace was so hot, our kids would've burned themselves if they touched it. The kettle had something burnt on it on the inside. The washing machine, moldy. The dishwasher, smelled like rotten eggs.
Clearly cleaning crews don't get paid enough.
Haven't stayed in Canmore often but I'm sure a best western would've been better.

This is the third year in a row I've gone to this hotel. I think it probably will be my last. The rooms need renovating. The way they are designed they're extremely hard to clean. The water slide in pool or the reason we go. But after being in the pool with my children for a few days everybody develop a rash from the pool. It is a great location and it is nice to have a room with the kitchen. But I am not sure if it is worth it.

We experienced very poor customer service at this resort. My husband and I did a last minute booking at their Annex building. On our second day, we woke up to no water in the bathroom. When we inquired with the front desk, we were informed that the water supply would be unavailable till 4 pm due to a scheduled maintenance. We had to fight/beg the front desk to provide us an alternative room in the main building so we could do personal care. As tourists, we had activities planned during the day and thanks to this resort, we were delayed. The employee at the front desk did not bother to look us in the eyes when we expressed our disappointment. They continued with their chores and pretended we are not there. They also don’t provide drinking water to the guests. You can however, buy it from a vending machine. One day, we requested for fresh towels, and we returned to our suite to find a small bag with towels in front of the bathroom. They didn’t bother taking out the old ones. Overall, a complete disappointment. Personally, I would recommend to choose other options such as Malcolm Hotel. It’s in close proximity to this resort but their staff and service is 100 times better.
