It’s cute. You get what you get for the price. Only complaint is that the beds are hard as rock. Bouncy enough for.. you know. But hard for sleeping on. Not that I did that here, I was alone lol. But yeah, it’s not a bad place for the price. And you get allllll cable channels and free wifi! The mountain view side is beautiful too!

There was $100 deposit we had to give our credit card number for when we arrived for any damage to the room; we didn't know about when we booked online; thought that was odd. Outdated hotel, but it was clean, good price and had friendly staff.

we were pleasantly surprised with this hotel! our main concern was cleanliness because we have stayed in a lot of cheap hotels before that were disgustingly dirty. this one was practically spotless. my boyfriend and i really like taking baths and we were so happy to see that the condition of the bath in our room was excellent- looked like it had never been used before. thank you to mountain inn’s cleaning crew for making this experience great!

We booked through Expedia and had decent expectations. More so we were just looking for a place to sleep. It is one of the cheaper places to stay in Canmore and service is good but they do need to up their cleaning standards.
The first room we got had yellow stains on the sheets and the comforter was not clean. We notified the lady at the front desk, she came and got us a new room immediately but it was disappointing. The bathroom was small, there is an extra fee if you want housekeeping, small tvs, flat pillows, thin walls (not a great place if you’re looking for quiet) and lack of toiletries (2in1 shampoo/conditioner and no body wash). The rooms could definitely use some renovations/updates.
Overall, we probably would never stay here again but there is good service and it was nice to be able to walk everywhere (although this can be said about most places in Canmore).

Excellent value for money! We were looking for a relatively inexpensive accommodation in Canmore for 1 night and found this one online. Clean room, comfortable beds, hot shower, fridge and microwave, small flat screen TV, hair dryer, towels, small toiletries, and free tea and coffee. Parking is free but first come, first serve. We arrived around 7pm and still got a parking space. The front desk is staffed between 7am and 11pm only. Housekeeping is not included in the room rate. A full cleaning is $20. We didn't need it since we were only staying for 1 night. Probably the biggest limitation is the thinnes of the walls; you can hear neighbours to some degree (for us it wasn't too bad) and also stuff in the hallways. However, the night was very quiet during our stay, and we slept well. The location of the hotel is excellent, and you can't beat the price! We would stay here again when visiting Canmore.

While relatively clean and having had a recent lick of paint and new bedclothes beyond these surface improvements a major renovation is required. It was clear that a thorough deep clean under beds etc hadn’t happened for a while and the carpets and curtains looked very old. The bathroom floor had multiple damaged tiles. We have spent 2 weeks travelling through the Rockies staying in hotels that cost a similar amount and most of them are dated but this one was the worst, and had no rustic charm. The parking was first come first served and was a little tight. Probably would avoid in future.

The hotel room did not live up to its price tag, and while it was advertised as 'fully furnished,' I found that the amenities and overall experience fell short of expectations. Despite the cost, I didn't feel like I received good value for my money. The room lacked certain comforts or features that one might expect at this price point, such as adequate storage space or high-quality furnishings. It left me feeling disappointed and questioning the value proposition. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel room unless improvements are made to justify the expense.

Stay was fine. But I paid a 100$ deposit for the room and never got it back. It's already been 3 weeks and have exchanged messages back and fourth with them as well as my bank to confirm. It has been confirmed that the they reverted the deposit I was supposed to get back. I got scammed so do NOT pay the deposit or you WILL get scammed.
