Hotels in Kamloops

Each Sandman location has it's little issues. I've stayed in 5 star hotels with similar issues. The reason I enjoy staying at your hotels, and this applies to every location I've stayed at, is the staff. The service level is unmatched. The methods of training you use through your management o your frontline staff is consistent at every level. BRAVO!!

The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The building looks nicer in real life than in the picture. I stayed as a stop over, driving Edmonton to Vancouver. It was just minutes off the highway so perfect for what I needed.

We had a great stay in Kamloops. Atish was really welcoming and helped us find everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely plan to stay there the next time we visit Kamloops

Had a fantastic experience at the Sandman on Columbia. Great room service and clean and quiet just what you need after a long day at work. Atish & Deanna have been a great help in anything I need from being able to print out docs for business to having a coffee and chat. A very friendly place that I would highly recommend

It was fine. My room was cramped but clean. They put me in a basement room which was odd and a little dark. I was also across from the vending/ice machine which was a little loud. Staff was friendly and the water pressure in the shower was amazing.

Bed sheets were not clean. when we informed the reception, he replied we can't guarantee a clear sheet without any spots! We ended up changing the sheets by ourselves. The buffet was good.

We booked last minute and front desk was very helpful in ensuring our stay would be smooth, especially since we were bringing a pup with us. The king sized bedroom we got was really clean and smelled fresh. The amenities were great for the price we paid, and it was generally pretty quiet at night. Would definitely come back!

Although this is an older building, it has been renovated where needed. It is clean and convenient. With pool and hot tub as well as convenient fitness room. Stayed here for over a month while looking for a new place to live and I enjoyed it a lot. A relatively good hotel in Jinlu, owned by Marriott, with a good sanitation environment and friendly staff. It is recommended to choose a larger room type to accommodate suitcases.

Just celebrated our wedding there. Every one had an amazing time they were great at accommodating all of our needs and requests. Would definitely do it all over again ?

Scenery is nice. Main criticism is lack of essentials in our cabin. No cutting board, no sponge/scrub brush, only 1 roll paper towel, etc. Cabin is otherwise cozy. Good beds.

Located on the outskirts of Kamloops, this marvel is the perfect place to get away and relax. You have great views of the lake and mountains, a massive provincial Forrest that you can camp at, swimming friendly lake... It's just perfect! And... You can do weddings here! It looks beautiful, the wedding set up.

Super cool facility. Thinking of booking in for a group trip. They manage an ice rink on the lake in the winter.

The cabins were great. I was here for a wedding, and the groom expressed some ire with the obscene extra cost of turning on the lights. I think people would be more inclined to enjoy the beautiful locale without hidden fees.

No frills room served our one night purpose. Interesting that they had pots and pans available for cooking, perhaps for long term guests.

Solid location, great rooms, and a decent breakfast. They have a fancy looking coffee machine as well for those who need their coffee in the morning (can't speak for the quality as I don't drink coffee myself). Came here for a tournament and didn't break the bank staying here.

Came here for a family vacation and went to Harper Ski. HI was a great place to stay. It is conveniently located next to multiple restaurants, and it was a reasonable distance from the ski resort. The location of the breakfast was ok, but did think the quality was very low on bread products and extremely low-quality meat products. Dry and hard meats, one can tell its not good quality McDonalds is better quality. The coffee was decent but only skim milk? no options for anything other than skim milk or coffee mate.

Our experience was very limited. We got off the train and got on a bus. We got off a bus and walked into this hotel. Our bags were ready for us to pick up and carry to our room. The food at the restaurant is very very very good. Best French Toast I’ve ever had, made with French Loaf bread.

We attended a birthday luncheon and interestingly, we were split 50/50 regarding our meals. First half of table had Chefs Salad and were all a 👎 the rest of the table burger n fries, sandwich, chicken fingers, etc.👍

Location was a little off main road however well worth it. When we arrived the restaurant was about to close however stayed open for our party of four adults and three children. Food and service were very good. I would recommend both the restaurant and motel to anyone. Thank you a wonderful stay

Even though it is a little older, this property is nicely maintained. Staffing is extremely courteous and kind. I have spent two nights here. Every day they clean, there is no mould in the bathroom, and I always get fresh towels.

We had a great time staying here. 1 night. The staff are super nice. Our room was cozy, pet friendly and the ac worked great. Shower has great pressure. Beds are very Comfortable. The pool and hot tub was nice. And the best part is the restaurant. It's a hidden gem. After long days traveling we get our food and the portions are amazing. Happy tummys. This motel offered a nice rm a nice bed. A jacuzzi tub was awesome. And very easy to book a date. And if u smoke u don't have to walk across the parking lot . I would stay here again.

The location is great and if you keep your expectations of the room low you will be fine. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean, just pretty well worn down. Be aware that there is no elevator so if that is a problem for you mobility-wise, or if traveling with kids or heavy luggage, be specific when booking that you need a room on the ground level.

We stayed here last year, and it was a very enjoyable experience. This year when we booked, we made the mistake of telling them we had a small dog. The room we were given, was absolutely disgusting. Dirty,stained, stinky carpet. Worn-out beds. And a poor job of cleaning up the room from previous visitors. If they want to keep pets in certain rooms, I can accept that, but this smelly room was unacceptable...

Simple motel. Dated but does the trick if all you need is a place to pay your head for the night.

Great price comfortable beds. We stayed in jaccuzi suite while the teenage boys stayed in standard dbl room. Great location and very friendly staff. Housekeeping could use some training boys room didn't even get cleaned or new towels and our room just got 2 towels but other then that great deal enjoyed our stay.

We enjoy the Alpine because it is cheap and pet friendly. Usually it is just a lot of camp workers staying at the hotel, but this time it was a lot noisier and seem to have a different type of guest.

Well female staff are hot but far too many hindus stayin there now

I slept like a baby for my first night of six at the Hospitality Inn. My dog is super happy with the patio doors to the backyard (and so am I!) I'm here on business but I am looking forward to an evening glass of wine overlooking the city from the backyard! The room might be a little older but it's warm, comfortable and perfect for us!

It's a beautiful motel with a stunning view of downtown at the swimming pool side. Rooms are okayish. Everything is tidy and arranged but the wifi doesn't work most of the time.

We got in at 9pm at night and apparently when I booked the room online that day I booked it for December 13th not October. Decent sized rooms. Clean, quiet and close to everything. One complaint, we could not get the TV to work. You have to download Chrome cast. My kid couldn't just watch TV without a phone or device?

Stayed here for 2 nights during winter. There is no free breakfast during the offseason most likely due to he high vacancy. Rooms were clean and more up to date. There is coin operated laundry, ice machine hot tub and pool. Hot tub was great after a day on the slopes. We only stayed one night but we would definitely stay again. Having laundry onsite was a big plus. The room was spacious and seemed like it had been recently updated. The staff were very friendly. Some updates done to make rooms nicer. Still had the “older hotel” smell. There was a corner jetted tub still in the room to add some uniqueness, it the update were not completed in this area. Old & broken tiles still around tub. Room was clean & quiet though.

We booked this hotel the 2 children and was looking forward to the pool and hot tub. When we arrived we were told it was under construction. We were not aware of this.

Based on the recent reviews, I was pretty nervous about staying here. The check-in process went pretty smooth, as it should. We checked out the room and found it was surprisingly clean. The bed sheets had a few hairs in them which was borderline concerning, but then again, a washing machine doesn't always get out every hair. This is the 2nd time we have rented the bridal suite with the in room jacuzzi at the Pacific Inn. It's very clean, I'm quite picky too. The staff at the front desk were super friendly. They have breakfast in the morning and free juice all day and night. The price is amazing for what you actually get, especially if you just need a little after the holidays stay-cation. Found out it wasn't working so we had to cross the parking lot to the comfort inn to use theirs. Left a DND sign on my door. Even told house keeping I did not require service. Great view in front of the hotel, great service, awesome beds and accomodations in general. Lovely place and well situated in the city.

It was a last minute stop and everyone we dealt with was great. From booking over the phone to check-in, it was a stress-free experience and we'll definitely be staying again. UPDATE: We did end up staying there again, and the experience was just as positive as the first time. They even had an item we'd left behind in their lost and found. Not bad at all! Not sure why the other reviews give the place a low score. Rooms were spacious and they provide efficiency rooms which have kitchens, so that is a big plus. Staff is in general helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good enough, offering juices, boiled eggs, bread/muffins/bagels, cereals, and also provide waffles. Laundry is very useful and effective. Great wifi! Great welcome and service from the young lady (and cat!). Room has almost everything covered (toothpaste, soap, shampoo, fridge, tv…). Good coffee.

Mediocre motel, nothing really stood out about it. Only picked since it was one of the only motels in the area with availability but it wasn't terrible. Kid had a good time swimming outside after a long road trip from the Island. We were pleasantly surprised! Our room was basic, but clean and comfortable and everything was functioning properly. The pool, hot tub and sauna were awesome! They were all nice and clean and not crowded. It was a quick 10 minute ride to the airport this morning. I recommend this motel!

I was surprised what the room was like, after reading the great reviews. The room and furnishings are old, the towels were great, the room was clean, staff was friendly and its very close to the airport. The AC unit was very loud and had a musty smell. It was one of the cheapest rooms we were able to get.
