5000 Motel

I was extremely disappointed. I had stayed at this motel a few years back and it was decent. So I booked a room over Canada Day long weekend and oh my god! Upon entering the room it reeked of cigarettes to the point I was getting a headache, the door had been kicked in and it still had visible damage from it, the curtains do not close and there was a hair clip clipped to them in attempt to close them. The room had a extra bedroom in it, which had three mattress stacked up and they were yellow. I was so grossed out by the room that we checked out 20 mins after checking in. The management was friendly and refunded our room and damage deposit. But I don’t recommend staying here. It has changed and you get what you pay for. I wasn’t about to take a chance to see if I was going to be bringing bugs home with me.

We have stayed in this motel for one night and I don't think I could handle any more. originally we have booked 2 rooms but we were asked to change our booking into 1 room that could contain 6 people, 2 in each bed. We have been offered a small 2 bedroom apartment with the kitchen.
Never have I ever stayed in worse place than this. From the moment we walked in the apartment smelled like an ashtray, floors have not seen a mop for a very long time and everything was covered in dust. A lot of things were broken such as shelves, baseboards, dresser, but the worst was the sofa bed. When we unfolded it we found glass, rocks, cement and sticks. The mattress did not fit the base, legs did not reach the floor, the whole material was smoked with the smell of cigarettes and the linen did not fit the bed.
I am not mentioning the pool that was not operating and few gallons of brown water in it, an old bucket and some other garbage .
This place was nothing like it is shown in pictures online. We will never go back here again.

We booked for 3 nights 3 rooms, the place was Very Dirty, bad smell on all 3rooms, stains on the beds, probably blood stains, we still have to sweep the place when we arrive. We always bring out our garbage in the morning, but never got picked up. We even went out to buy febreeze and some sanitizer. Air conditioner not working on 2 rooms, molds everywhere, broken windows , filthy curtains. The one star that I put in is for the strong water. Very bad experience

Cold, drafty, old buildings and bedding... Very rundown.
