What a great little motel. It is in a fantastic location, right next to mini golf and a close walk to the beach and the floating channel. The pool was awesome, the service was amazing, the BBQ area is a nice added touch, and the room was quiet. This is definitely an older motel and the room was a bit dated. However, it was clean and comfortable (and with AC). Would definitely stay again!

The BBQ and pool area is amazing! The location is perfect for restaurants hopping and beach time. The room needs love and maintenance especially the bathroom. Overall great vacation!

There were dirty sheets on the bed ( dirt/hair)
The bathroom has black mold and ticks in it. It is a dated motel that is a health hazard. We had to leave at 1130 pm and try and find another hotel. This sucked considering we had driven for 11 hours to get there.
I reached out to staff and have not had any communication back. Now I have to fight with booking to get my refund back.
Our friends stayed in the same place and had a pipe burst. No refund.

The location is fantastic. We brought our wagon to haul stuff to the lake. Which is a 2 min walk. Okanagan lake side
The beds in our room were all different. Mine was soft, which was so comfortable. My friends was more like a memory foam. To hard for me, but she liked it
The pool here is great. It wasn't heated when we were there, but it typically is.
There are pool toys. There is a stretch of grass with Boccee balls as well as a large undercover area with bbq for a family picnic.
It's expensive. But so is everything in penticton in the summer, when u want to be close to the lake.

I stayed here in 2022 for the last time after booking here for 9 wonderful consecutive years.
Back when Dan and Christine owned it, the rooms were squeaky clean, you could turn down room cleaning, fresh towels would be run to your room and there was always someone in the office during working hours.
When it changed ownership there were some anomalies in service.
My fridge broke and they would not replace it right away, the A/C did not work and my toilet broke. My feet were black with dirt after being barefoot for 30 minutes in the room. You have to "book" cleaning ahead of time before your stay. And to top it all off, dirty bath towels need to be taken to the office where there is usually a long line of people or no one in the office resulting in multiple trips to get towels and toilet paper.
It is one of the more expensive hotels to stay at and the service and attitudes of the staff is horrible. Just skip this place. There are many other good hotels I have stayed at along Lakeshore drive that are worth the money and less expensive.

We went to the Bowmont for a friends wedding. The owners were very friendly nice people. The courtyard was very comfortable with propane fireplaces and deck furniture. There is a bbq station that you can rent out by the pool. Would stay again.

Clean rooms, very friendly management. Pool and hot tub were spotless as was pool deck. Close walk to so many amenities. Loved it there. Would stay there anytime.

Easily the best value for a hotel in recent memory. The rooms are not very recently renovated, however are kept very clean and well furnished. Lovely staff with a cute dog at the front desk. Comfortable bed and a full kitchen! Probably the best deal if you want to ski at Apex

Amazing people who work there that we now are happy to call our friends. Virender the manager is just the absolute best. He put up with my husband and I adding on days to make our stay longer and Scott the maintenance guy what can I say, the nicest guy around. We already have our 2 week vacation booked there for next year and can't wait. Thank you again everyone there and at the Spanish Villa for everything
