The rooms were old but clean, the management from Hunan, China were very friendly and very helpful. I liked staying here and would stay there again.The location is walking distance to lots of restaurants, etc.

Ken is a great guy. I stayed at the 5000 motel for 6 months Ken helped me out with what i needed as a new resident to Penticton, he put the right people in my life.

Regardless of you being a perfect guest the owner will still try and charge you more for rent or for damage to the gate or for a new key they've taken towels from guests they absolutely refuse to let any guests have even a visitor for coffee they've put up new gates with cameras all over the place and won't let most guests even use their laundry facilities I'm quite disappointed I recommend many other...

Centrally located on the " Strip",we were pleasantly surprised at the comfort level of the room. We stayed 2 nights in July 2020. Rooms were clean, A/C was good, amenities were fine and privacy was great, The owners were very accommodating and friendly. Not the nicest finishings but there was a kitchenette in our suite, it was a great price, and they were accommodating to us staying a bit longer on the morning of check out. Also right around the corner from the hospital, which was what we wanted.

It is quite a comfortable stay with this economic and clean motel. I enjoyed a wonderful fall vacation away from the rainy and crowded Vancouver.

The BBQ and pool area is amazing! The location is perfect for restaurants hopping and beach time. The room needs love and maintenance especially the bathroom. Overall great vacation!

The location is fantastic. We brought our wagon to haul stuff to the lake. Which is a 2 min walk. Okanagan lake side The beds in our room were all different. Mine was soft, which was so comfortable. What a great little motel. It is in a fantastic location, right next to mini golf and a close walk to the beach and the floating channel. The pool was awesome, the service was amazing, the BBQ area is a nice added touch, and the room was quiet. This is definitely an older motel and the room was a bit dated. However, it was clean and comfortable (and with AC). Would definitely stay again!

Easily the best value for a hotel in recent memory. The rooms are not very recently renovated, however are kept very clean and well furnished. Lovely staff with a cute dog at the front desk. Comfortable bed and a full kitchen! Probably the best deal if you want to ski at Apex

Amazing people who work there that we now are happy to call our friends. Virender the manager is just the absolute best. He put up with my husband and I adding on days to make our stay longer and Scott the maintenance guy what can I say, the nicest guy around. Lovely staff. Room was large, with kitchenette and patio. AC worked very well. Older style but with some upgrades. Bed was (firmish) comfy. Pool area and BBQ area were awesome. Great location.

I really enjoyed staying in HI Penticton last summer as I have at other times in the past. I feel at home there. Love the staff and have met so many interesting people there. I was there on the labor day long weekend, and this was the quietest little place to stay in.. loved the peace and serenity of Pentincton and HI hostel seemed like the perfect place to stay, cook, chill and feel at home. I wish the AC was not cranked up so much but everything else was perfect.

Needed a place to stay that met some pretty tight budgetary needs and this more than met any expectations I had. Rooms were clean, service was great, location convenient.

Had a really comfortable stay on a Saturday night in a private room, we booked the evening before. Compared to other options for staying in Penticton overnight in the summer it was extremely affordable. Had everything we needed and the staff were super friendly and flexible.

A great little place to stay near downtown and the beach. Bunking in one of the dorms is an affordable alternative to camping or finding a hotel. The staff were very friendly and a wealth of information for local restaurants. The fresh coffee in the morning was also really nice.

Joan and Wulf have been the wonderful hosts. I could not recommended a stay here higher. The whole family has been made very welcome. Perfection.

Wulf and his family are as nice as the view they offer. A great loft with all utensil a family or group of friends need to a short stay in Kelowna, inside his piece of land sorrounded by apple and grape harvests. We truly love it.

Beautiful view, hence the name! Wulf and Joan are wonderful people and so very pleasant. Very knowledgeable about the surrounding sites too. Very clean and well.kept.
