Great stay! We forgot our phone charger and front desk was happy to let us borrow one and brought it to our room. Very clean lobby and room. The front desk team was friendly and helpful. Joshua went above and beyond to make our trip wonderful. Next time I’m in Penticton I’ll definitely stay here again. :)

Great stay. Wish there were queen beds instead of double beds, though. I don't sleep well smushed against my kid lol. It's great the hotel is pet friendly too. Can't wait for the pool to open! Cam at the front desk was absolutely amazing!! The first room we got into had a really funky smell to it and he was right on-top of it to get us moved and made sure we were comfortable and made it known if we needed anything to let him know. We were very pleased with our stay at the Sandman hotel in Penticton. The young lady at the check in ( Lynn Dube ) was very pleasant and helpful. My husband has mobility issues and she found us a room for both of our stays that had easy access for him. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Having a restaurant and a lounge onsite was a added bonus. We would definitely stay there again

Another Sandman + Denny's combo. I'm sure you know what expect of both. Pretty good bang for your buck but nothing spectacular. Personally, I love having the option of getting a pretty good menu selection 24/7 just in case I get a hankerin' for something. ???

This is the 2nd stay here. Rooms are clean, staff pleasant. Convenient having a Denny's attached. Swimming pool & hot tub

At 11:05 (5 minutes late for checkout) while my partner was changing The owner walked directly into the room through the interior door. Exits and entrances are on the exterior/ parking side, I didn't even know the door was there until he walked right in without knocking. It was the creepiest experience I've ever had in a motel. Otherwise there's nothing wrong with the rooms.

Great location and the AC in the room is wonderful. The outside could use a cleaning but the rooms weren't bad! Our Kitchen area unfortunately didn't seem to be cleaned thoroughly as we found some garbage in the cupboards & oven. Overall a little pricey for what you get but not terrible.

This place is our go to motel in Penticton. We stayed here many times during pandemic and during busy summer weekends. They always have a room for us and always accommodate us. Rates are fair. Pool is awesome as the tables and chairs around it.

Excellent! Newly renovated room, lots of hot water, comfy beds, fridge and microwave and great heater / air conditioning unit that was quiet. Price was very fair and overall value was very high. Check in was 2 minutes from start to finish and the owner stayed open late to accommodate a late check in. I highly recommend this place to anyone!

Newly renovated , nice comfortable rooms, affordable but not cheap. No bells or whistles. Right beside petro Canada and across the street from Tim Horton and bowling alley

Very reasonable! It was marginally more for 2 nights at the Sahara than it was for our 1 night at the Days Inn across town. Although there were not quite as many features at the Sahara we found it was probably better value overall for the purpose of this particular stay. Wifi OK but not perhaps not encrypted, room was clean with climate control, parking. Tim Hortons across the street makes grabbing...

The rooms were old but clean, the management from Hunan, China were very friendly and very helpful. I liked staying here and would stay there again.The location is walking distance to lots of restaurants, etc.

Ken is a great guy. I stayed at the 5000 motel for 6 months Ken helped me out with what i needed as a new resident to Penticton, he put the right people in my life.

Regardless of you being a perfect guest the owner will still try and charge you more for rent or for damage to the gate or for a new key they've taken towels from guests they absolutely refuse to let any guests have even a visitor for coffee they've put up new gates with cameras all over the place and won't let most guests even use their laundry facilities I'm quite disappointed I recommend many other...

Centrally located on the " Strip",we were pleasantly surprised at the comfort level of the room. We stayed 2 nights in July 2020. Rooms were clean, A/C was good, amenities were fine and privacy was great, The owners were very accommodating and friendly. The best part is that it's walking distance to everything that you would want from Malls to Pubs to Eateries. Also the Motel sits ion the main road...

Not the nicest finishings but there was a kitchenette in our suite, it was a great price, and they were accommodating to us staying a bit longer on the morning of check out. Also right around the corner from the hospital, which was what we wanted.

It is quite a comfortable stay with this economic and clean motel. I enjoyed a wonderful fall vacation away from the rainy and crowded Vancouver.

Great location and friendly staff. I gave 4 stars because the room was smaller than expected and not very soundproof. It was exceptionally clean and had a nice seating/bbq area on the mezzanine. Great family friendly place to stay in Penticton.

This is a cozy clean older motel with a kitchen. It is located right across from a lovely park and the beach. It allows dogs too. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The only disadvantage if you don’t have a vehicle is that there are no restaurants close by.

Good location, decent prices, and clean rooms! Not to mention, we showed up a few hours early and they checked us in as soon as they could...much appreciated! Would recommend staying here :)

2022-08-27: I have stayed here on a few occasions. I think it is one of the best hotel/resorts in the Okanagan. It is centrally located, has beautiful, comfortable rooms, and great staff. Check and out is easy, and it has great parking which is at a premium on busy days. The Wibit, weekend market, beach, stores, and restaurants are all right around you.

Here for work trip night shift. And my room was right next to new construction. When I told them I would be sleeping in the day time. They moved me to another room witch was an upgrade free of charge. Great people and service.

The BBQ and pool area is amazing! The location is perfect for restaurants hopping and beach time. The room needs love and maintenance especially the bathroom. Overall great vacation!

The location is fantastic. We brought our wagon to haul stuff to the lake. Which is a 2 min walk. Okanagan lake side The beds in our room were all different. Mine was soft, which was so comfortable. My friends was more like a memory foam. To hard for me, but she liked it The pool here is great. It wasn't heated when we were there, but it typically is. There are pool toys. There is a stretch of grass...

What a great little motel. It is in a fantastic location, right next to mini golf and a close walk to the beach and the floating channel. The pool was awesome, the service was amazing, the BBQ area is a nice added touch, and the room was quiet. This is definitely an older motel and the room was a bit dated. However, it was clean and comfortable (and with AC). Would definitely stay again!

Easily the best value for a hotel in recent memory. The rooms are not very recently renovated, however are kept very clean and well furnished. Lovely staff with a cute dog at the front desk. Comfortable bed and a full kitchen! Probably the best deal if you want to ski at Apex

Lovely staff. Room was large, with kitchenette and patio. AC worked very well. Older style but with some upgrades. Bed was (firmish) comfy. Pool area and BBQ area were awesome. Great location.

I really enjoyed staying in HI Penticton last summer as I have at other times in the past. I feel at home there. Love the staff and have met so many interesting people there. I was there on the labor day long weekend, and this was the quietest little place to stay in.. loved the peace and serenity of Pentincton and HI hostel seemed like the perfect place to stay, cook, chill and feel at home. I wish the AC was not cranked up so much but everything else was perfect.

Needed a place to stay that met some pretty tight budgetary needs and this more than met any expectations I had. Rooms were clean, service was great, location convenient.

Had a really comfortable stay on a Saturday night in a private room, we booked the evening before. Compared to other options for staying in Penticton overnight in the summer it was extremely affordable. Had everything we needed and the staff were super friendly and flexible.

A great little place to stay near downtown and the beach. Bunking in one of the dorms is an affordable alternative to camping or finding a hotel. The staff were very friendly and a wealth of information for local restaurants. The fresh coffee in the morning was also really nice.

Joan and Wulf have been the wonderful hosts. I could not recommended a stay here higher. The whole family has been made very welcome. Perfection.

Wulf and his family are as nice as the view they offer. A great loft with all utensil a family or group of friends need to a short stay in Kelowna, inside his piece of land sorrounded by apple and grape harvests. We truly love it.

Beautiful view, hence the name! Wulf and Joan are wonderful people and so very pleasant. Very knowledgeable about the surrounding sites too. Very clean and well.kept.
