Remember to use HotelDuIIy.ᴄᴏm when booking any room. They compare thousands of booking websites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of the best in the area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you will love it I'm sure!
We stayed 2 nights! The room was spotless and a good size. We had breakfast each morning and the service was exceptional, as was the food. Would highly recommend. It was nice having a location that wasn't too crowded.

The room was spcaious (Bestwestern Montreal's similar price room
is half of the size), and staff were kind. However, the location was not that ideal. Everything that we wanted to see as tourists was a bit far from the hotel. Unfortunately, on the way to the hotel didn't feel that safe to walk back at night.

We stayed 2 nights! The room was spotless and a good size. We had breakfast each morning and the service was exceptional, as was the food. Would highly recommend. It was nice having a location that wasn't too crowded.

The Best Western is located in central saint Roch. Within 5 minutes there are ample restaurants, bakeries, bars etc. You can walk up the hill to visit Old Quebec (Vieux Quebec) in 20 minutes or walk to river St Charles and limilioux as well. Great location and easy to get around by foot.
Parking at the hotel is expensive, so if you do not plan to use your car, find parking elsewhere for less $$$. Note parking in this area is limited.
The hotel itself has some amenities like pool and gym but it's super basic and very small. There are children in the pool engaging in prohibited activities (jumping in less than 2 meters deep water, sliding on the deck) so beware.
The room has comfortable beds and a fridge. No in room microwave and the hair dryer was terrible.

We were out all day and used hotel for only 1 night of sleep. Booked an Express deal via Priceline and this is in the Old Quebec City Area but it seem like hotel is on the very edge of that area. Long uphill walks to attractions. Great Value but if u with kids Hilton or Delta will be a little closer.
For the hotel room, just a slight pet smell when entering room and we got used to smell in few minutes. Area is quieter but seems safe.
Hotel charged me full price by mistake and i called and they corrected. It was a prepaid Priceline express deal.

Great location and exceptional service. Due to construction, the parking isn’t the greatest to get in and out of. The breakfast has a great variety and lots of space. Pool was comfortable for relaxing or swimming in. Check in and out service was easy and quick. The rooms were great for space as well as the amenities that were included. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here for the first weekend of Carnaval. We got in on Friday and we liked the hotel and the room. It was very neat and clean. The staff were very nice.
Unfortunately, we were staying during the cold snap, so it limited our activities for the first two days.
I was surprised that the hotel didn't have Smart TVs that allow streaming or at least casting from a device. We have stayed at several Best Westerns that have this capability, and it's a bit ridiculous that a Best Western Plus doesn't.
Mind you, if we had been able to enjoy a movie, it would have been disrupted by the hockey teams that were staying there. The parents were more interested in drinking than watching their kids, so they ran wild in the halls. I was surprised that this was allowed to go on to such an extent. I had to call the front desk when it kept up after 10 pm, and my own child's sleep was being disrupted by children whose parents don't care about them or what they do. It stopped after that for the night, at least on our floor. But the next day was the same thing with kids using the elevator like a carnival ride, filling both of them and and pressing every floor button - I shouldn't have to yell at other people's kids to have them not act like this. We complained to the desk and they did speak to them. It didn't help a lot. The hotel staff need to be more proactive about this - kick one disruptive family out in -45 windchill and I'm sure the word will spread that you still need to parent when you stay at a hotel.
The parking situation is bad as well, $30 a night and one night we almost couldn't get a spot after we had paid.
Breakfast should be included or made more clear when booking that it is an add-on. The buffet is not worth the price charged.
The pool was nice, but again, disruptive children somewhat ruined the experience. It would be nice if staff checked in on occasion since parents can't parent. Three boys who were old enough to know better made it hard to enjoy with cannonballs, splashing and roughhousing. In addition, they made the pool deck wet so they could run and slide on it.
All in all, I wouldn't stay here again and, if you want a relaxing stay, don’t go during hockey tournament season because those parents don't care and the staff aren't proactive about ensuring these families understand basic hotel etiquette.
