The Frontenac is a grand hotel patterned after Europe's great hotels of yesteryear. If you overnight in Quebec City, you have to stay, at least the first time. It's an older hotel, but clean and majestic
The lobby can feel like a train station with tour groups gawking and people checking in & out. I was pleased to see public access is not restricted to those staying. But it did have a crowded feel at times
It's small, bathroom is small. The coffee machine (Nespresso) is on the bottom shelf requiring one to get on your hands and knees to use it. Our valve on the shower came off, but we made it work
The reception clerk who greeted us, the server in the restaurant, the concierge - absolutely everyone was wonderful and so attentive. We enjoyed every minute of our experience
The gentleman who helped us get our bags from the car to the lobby was lovely and helpful. I had ordered a vegan birthday cake, which was waiting for us upon arrival
We stayed at the Chateau Frontenac for the Evening of Darkness experience. Everything about our stay, from start to finish was exemplary

Its Hilton! So no need to say more!
The hotel is well equipped; play room, bar, ground-floor and top-floor restaurants, indoor swimming pool and gym! From that terms the hotel is amazing! With great room view! And its less than 10 mins away from the heart of Quebec City!
The room was missing flip-flops, toothbrush, water bottles etc
It's a downhill walk to basically anywhere which means a steep walk coming back from anywhere. Connected self parking was quick enough and easy. Don't let the valets convince you otherwise. A solid choice in Quebec City
I've stayed at a few other hotels in Quebec City but this one by far has been my favourite. It's a little pricier but you can find good deals. Our room was incredible - we had an amazing view of the city and huge windows
Hotel delivers in the class that this beautiful city bestows on you. Service was great, staff were attentive and helpful. Rooms were beautifully appointed. Facilities were nice and kept in good condition
Rooftop pool and sundeck were nice but fairly busy as weather was very hot. Just outside the walls of the old city. FYI though this hotel is at the top of the hill
They have a pool, gym, restaurant, bar and a room with different activities. Overall an amazing experience. Definitely recommend this hotel

The hotel was really great. We where supposed to have a queen bed room but we where upgraded to a king. The downside was the bathroom. The view of the 20th floor was amazing. Great ambiance at the pool/spa.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Everyone was very nice and willing to help. The view from our room was awesome. Information about the pool was a little confusing, and everybody had different info on the pool times
The pool was very cool though. In general , very good option for the price. Very satisfied with the service
Probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. My room also had a great view. Staff are friendly, professional and happy to converse in either French or English. Undercover pay parking is available on site
This is the hotel we stated in, for our Feb 2017 trip to Quebec. Location is convenient, as we were attending the "Carnaval de Quebec", which was just east of this location, with walking distance
Just note, there is no formal room service but you can order food from Jaja Restaurant downstairs and then pick up it up as takeaway

Ah they have different elevators for different areas so we never had to wait. The pool was ok nice for small kids not so good for Adults. We definitely would go back 👍
Love our room - it's romantic and cozy! But I'm really wish there was a dresser (we're here for 4 days and nowhere to put our clothes during our stay). Also wish there was more info about the surrounding area in the room
Nice spot with a great center courtyard. Located just outside the old city walls, this hotel is perfect. Rooms was a little small and congested for out group but otherwise, everything was great.
Lots of great restaurants just around the corner and the Joan of Arc Garden across the street is stunning! Hotel is within walking distance of the Citadel, and all Old Town
The city is very walkable and we could walk everywhere from our hotel. Loved the old luxury vibe that the hotel has. I loved their toiletries specially the soap
We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. We loved the valet that parked the cars. We had a discount for an electric car and they even charged it overnight

We had a great experience at this hotel! Location was perfect, close to the old city and the skating rink next door was a nice perk. The staff was also great and we enjoyed time in the pool
We looked out our window to see the city gate and ice-skating rink. The kids loved the pool after our long days exploring the city
There was even live music at the pool over the weekend! We’ll definitely stay here again
Hotel seems to cater for families, so expect kids in the halls and common areas. There is a pool, hot tub, sauna and gym. The pool and hot tub can be overrun by kids
Quite a bit dated. Not a 4 star hotel. Great location. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Pool deck is dangerously slick.
If this hotel had updates it’d quickly become a top hotel.
It is over priced. Location is good and has a nice steak restaurant but that's all. Pool is useless.

Spent 3 nights to visit Quebec city for the first time. Comfortable and clean, prompt service. Rooms are well equipped, had to ask for a corkscrew although wine glasses were already in the room
Nice to have a pool and sauna after long days of walking. Didn't try Boulay restaurant, but the Cafe at the entrance had great pastries and coffee
There are loads of stairs to get to the hotel which the valet helped with but it’s not ideal when you have heavy suitcases. Our room was lovely and we used the pool and gym as the weather was so bad
Room is clean and spacious, location is central and great, the hotel feels clean and modern, the pool and sauna are a nice addition, and the staff are helpful
It is right on the edge of the most popular areas, so they are easy to access, without crowding your hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. We always use the valet parking, as we do not use our car while we are there
I have stayed in a few hotels in Quebec City, including the Frontenac. It is elegant, modernised, well-laid out with large comfortable rooms

Great place asked what type of messages we want and spa was good as well clean place good think is that there is a hotel as well!
Nice hotel with modern rooms. It is a bit far from downtown, so not the best if this is your first visit to Quebec City. It is a good place for groups and events (weddings, team building, etc). Overall service was good.
Hotel was very clean and spacious, loved the therapeutic bathtub in our room which had air jets to massage. They even gave you a packet of bubble bath to enjoy
Great facial, they really took time to go over what was best for my skin. Friendly, and they accommodated us with little notice. Pretty little spot.
Hate to be a sour puss, but there are a few things that were a bit off. Breakfast buffet for 2 will set you back another 60$. Showering had intermittent hot water issues
It may be just me, but I like to know upfront what things are going to cost

Great service! Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable bed. 10 minutes drive to the Levis ferry to Old Quebec. Just off the highway. Had a great night sleep and a pet friendly room. Free breakfast, pool and exercise room.
Hotel was clean and well maintained, breakfast was excellent, wide selection of very food food, well stocked and fresh. Pool is on the small side but wasn't overly busy while we were there
The service was equally outstanding — the staff went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcomed and taken care of. To top it all off, there’s an incredible Italian restaurant nearby that completely elevated my trip
The location is absolutely perfect — easy to find, close to major routes, and well-situated for both business and leisure travelers. The room was impeccable: spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out
The food was exceptional, with authentic flavors and a cozy atmosphere — the perfect complement to an already fantastic stay. For the value, Quality Suites Lévis simply cannot be beaten
Staff was helpful getting us a room at 2am when we needed to stop for the night unexpectedly, and accommodating with a late checkout

The staff is polite and respectful. They took time to greet me everytime I walk in and out of the building. The room was really clean and the view is awesome. I will go back for sure in the next months
Due to a error in the booking we had to move rooms. The last night rooms was situated next to the elevator, airco very noisy (you should check) and the shower starting dripping in the middle of the night
The views were amazing ! In all three nights , we never heard our neighbors and enjoyed the quietness. This hotel is extremely close ( in walking distance) to everything including stores, restaurants, and the castle
Loved this hotel and all the features. A lot of lounging and working areas, wifi everywhere, and self-serve wine machines. Staff was helpful and thoughtful. Location is right in the heart of Old Quebec by the port
We learned our way around quickly. All the employees were so nice and helpful. We are in the restaurant attached. We had the most delicious spaghetti. We left around 330am and had a cab waiting for us
Full review: we arrived around 2am. We were greeted and given a room key and in our room within a minute. A separate living room and another bedroom with a king bed

Large rooms with the standard amenities, attentive staff at the front desk. The pool and the pub both look nice. The breakfast selection wasn't impressive, but the everything was clean and fresh
Also, has a swimming pool and includes a great bar attached within the hotel
Connectivity options and access to stores and gas stations around
Very good for the price we paid, and breakfast was a nice plus, you start your day ready, no more stops. The free parking also was a good thing. Friendly employees and professional. Everything was extremely smooth
At first impression, I was reminded of the hotel in Barton Fink. A place where traveling salesmen stop for a night, and a down on his luck writer might find a place to rest his head for cheap
Check out at noon not 11am as lot of places. Highly recommended for quick travel not planned in advance. The only down side it the distance of 20 minutes by car to old Quebec
Was an amazing place to stay. Cost to have dogs were very high $40 per dog. I have 2 3lbs pups and had the $80 fee tagged on. Outside that was very happy.

Extremely helpful!
We had room 51 and it was like a treehouse. It looked out on the patio's tree branches. This room has the sink and clawfoot tub in the bedroom; the toilet and shower were in a separate little room
One thing I didn't like was the lack of countertop space. We put our toiletries on the chest of drawers. The hotel does have an elevator, which some older hotels do not have. And the buffet breakfast was delightful
(There is an unloading zone out front of the hotel, but parking services are in a parking garage about a one-two minute walk from the hotel itself)
The area around the hotel has a scad of art galleries. Lots to see as you wander around the cobblestone streets
We loved this hotel! It’s location allowed us to park our car and walk to all the historic landmarks
The ambiance of the hotel and rooms matched with the elegance of the city. The bed was very comfortable, and despite being in the heart of the old city, I found the street noise to be almost non-existent

The first family suite we've stayed in that really felt like it was designed for young families - our kids loved the bunk beds while we loved a solid door between the living and sleeping areas so no light bleeds through
We spent our first honeymoon there and wanted to return to return for our second. Service excellent and treatment was amazing. We were treated as we mean something to the business
Rooms were very clean, spacious, and well-thought. Breakfast, despite charging a fee, was extremely delicious. Staff at the front desk were polite, helpful, and friendly. Laundry facilities were great as well
The breakfast was acceptable, even though I think a hot egg or omelet would have been better, but overall it was ok. The price was also acceptable for the quality of the room and the hotel
The young lady at the desk, whose name I can not remember (sorry) really made me feel welcome and special, A BIG THANK-YOU. Sarah you are wonderful, A BIG THANK-YOU
Was attending a concert at the Centre Videotron. Was within a 5 min drive from the venue. Hotel staff were very friendly and courteous

For the price and location, it was fine. The owner was great, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean (sheets/towels included). Some ware and tare. For a place to stay with no thrills, it's fine.
Affordable rates with excellent location. About 10 - 15 minute walk from Old Quebec. The stuff was very nice and helpful. There was only one common bathroom on our floor. There is outside parking only
A little bit of hassle with moving cars around. There is public parking across the street though, Overall we were pleasantly surprised. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a tight budget

I visited this place with my friends, we had really amazing experiences. We loved their breakfast, it was short stay but I would definitely come back if I’ll be visiting Quebec again with my Family..❤️
But the rooms are very clean seems like its newly renovated. I love their bed not too soft not too hard good for my backaches. I appreciate the extra pillow and coffees inside the room
Also, another plus point for the breakfast they offer decent bf breads, bagels, cereals, freshfruits, waffles, sausage and manymore… I am definitely going back
Very cozy hotel, the price was very cheap however I have no complaints. Not far from downtown and National park. Overall it was a very good experience
A decent hotel, room was clean and of a good size. There was a bit of noise from the main road but I think that's because of the location of our room. Breakfast was adequate to start the day.
Breakfast had a lot variety!

Outstanding service and a charming, upscale property made for memorable experience. Our room featured spacious cedar lined closets, fabulous bath, and an outdoor terrace with spectacular views
Perfectly located in the center of the action. It was a delightful experience from our arrival until our departure, and the staff was consistently exceptional at taking care of us
My wife and I did not want to leave this place. From the time we arrived and were greeted by the valet and front desk everyone provided first class, friendly service. Cleaning staff were efficient and friendly
Restaurants were closed at that time including room service at the hotel and this is something that I feel there’s room for improvement specially for a hotel of this caliber

The owners of the place are great people! They are super friendly and helpful. They even helped us to find events and places to visit while we are in Quebec City. My wife and I felt like home during our stay
The room was perfect from toiletries to comfort of the bed. I have nothing to complain about the room. The lake is so beautiful and joyful to relax next to it. The neighborhood is also so quiet
I am so glad we found this gem. The rooms were super clean and cozy. The bed and bathtub were luxurious. Hosts were kind and very helpful with excellent recommendations and maps of the area
I recommend booking this place with confidence! You will not be disappointed! It's a little corner of paradise. It's quiet, romantic, and a much better value than the nearby Doubletree

Went there with my family during the holidays and I loved it! The staffs were super welcoming and breakfast was included (though, I’d suggest to wake up early if you want to make sure to get a lunchbox-breakfast because when we checked out, we heard a couple asking for their breakfast, but they ran out of it sadly and it was only around 9:15 AM)
What a wonderful surprise not much to look at from outside BUT a splendid modern updated impressive interior and décor A super property for the price PLUS a terrific breakfast included. Will definitely stay here again??
Very friendly staff, super clean rooms and one of the most comfortable beds ever. Their unlimited coffee from the machine is delicious! The lunch box options also very yummy

We stayed two nights, and it was perfect for our needs. It's a great spot! We were able to walk to restaurants and sites.
I stayed two nights, the breakfast was fresh and delicious!
It is close to all amenities, I was in unit 4 and enjoyed the sound of rain hitting the roof on a rainy night which made a pleasant memory along with the old European design of the room
It's in a perfect location if you want to be in the city or to see a concert (I was going to see a concert on the plains of Abraham at the time). Overall, the service and the price to pay is good!
If you would like to feel the French spirit of Quebec city try this hotel! I chose it, particularly because of the traditional design ( it looked different than other hotels) and location
If you are looking for a affordable place to stay with breakfast. The lady who served us the breakfast was amazing, she served us and made the breakfast according to our preference
This is a quiet place with a little vintage french interior. Its in the heart of Quebec, so if the weather is good, this place would be good to explore the heart of Quebec

Also, unlike the other reviews, the polite lady at the desk was professional and could speak both English (fluent!) and French. Pool was sooo clean and nice to cool off after a hot day
Great experience more than we expected for the $$s. pool was clean and heated, room was clean and fully functional, Maurice was amazing to everyone’s needs
Little motel on the outside of Québec City, situated on a main road. Quiet, clean and fairly inexpensive. Small unheated outdoor pool.
The staff was extremely helpful and so friendly to our group. We were on a cycling trip, and this was our last night. They helped us secured our bikes and assisted with us getting downtown (5min uber)
Service was immediate and from what I saw everyone enjoyed their stay. We’ll be back when we do the charlebois train excursion. Thanks for the memories Maurice

The shuttle to town is brilliant - drops you right in the centre of Old Quebec, so even though the hostel is located out of town it's just as good as being right in the centre at a fraction of the price!
It's quite far outside Quebec City but the walk/cycle to Levis is wonderful and the hostel offers a reasonably priced shuttle to various places around the area
Cheap overnight for solo traveling if driving from Toronto (under 8 hrs) to Maritimes without going into Quebec city and paying tourism rates
The place quiet a surprise for us. We did not expect the place it to be that good based on the price. They is friendly, very responsive and instructions for late check-in were on point and easy
Very economical as it is low cost with great value in my opinion!
Hosts are very welcoming, attentive to your questions, and provide lots of care to you
Possibly the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in. A very calm environment. Definitely the best place to stay if you’re looking for a peaceful stay :)
