My husband and I spent 3 nights (Tuesday thru friday) here. We had a beautiful ocean balcony room. We found the room spacious and clean. We enjoyed the restaurant happy hours. Had a great breakfast in the restaurant as well and especially enjoyed Island Tarts located in the hotel lobby for our lattes and specialty coffees and great pastries and sandwiches. The location of this hotel is within...
A nice hotel but expensive for a three star. Liked the hotel entrance and its guest areas. Pool changing rooms not kept clean during the five nights we stayed with them. Rooms ok try for a ocean view it does make a difference. Food quite good. Restaurant staff friendly all other staff including whom I believe to be the manager not so. LOVED the tart shop just inside the hotel. Spa area quite nice...
It is an odd-looking building for the location - makes you feel like you're in the Bahamas! (not a bad thing). It is a great location, with a fantastic view of the Olympic Mountains. The grill is great value or there's a cool little cafe. Sitting out in the courtyard is my favorite area. Whiffin Spit is a nice walk from here.
Highly recommend this resort! It feels like you’re somewhere almost tropical with the decor, plants and resort like feel! It has amazing balcony views of the harbour and has the best Coffee/Desserts shop right in the foyer of the hotel! And if you’re really excited about it. They have a tv in the bathroom for while you have a bubble bath 😉
Love it! My family and I have been staying here since their opening year. We stay with them at least once a year, last summer we stayed for a full week with our 2 teenagers and our little chihuahua. The staff was so friendly and welcoming as per usual. We had a minor issue with the people above us stomping around until 3 or 4 am and the ladies at the front desk found us a much nicer room where we were...
What an amazing hotel!!! First you are greeted by this grand lobby! Reception is at the back of the lobby which was a great idea! It would have taken away from the lobby had it been up front. Rooms are a very nice size, appointed with comfortable beds, tastefully decorated with baseboards, crown moulding, furniture and with ceilings of over 13 1/2 feet (on the main floor anyway). Being situated right...

I have been making an annual retreat for myself to Sooke Harbour House over the last several years. I have a very demanding career and I always look forward to an early spring hiatus in the "Edibles" room at the hotel. I love the quiet and serene location next to Whiffin Spit, where one can take a stroll along the ocean and view wildlife or sit on the beach with a book and breathe in the refreshing...
My wife and I had Saturday brunch here and it was excellent! The dining room wasn't very busy therefore our server took exceptional care of us. We had two issues with food and drink items being out of stock but were promptly rectified. The dining room is clad with ample woodwork bringing an inviting warmth to the space and has a massive stone fireplace. The walls are decorated with artwork which livens...
We had a wonderful lunch here, after an amazing walk by the beach. Amazing location! The food was locally sourced and Delicious. Love that they have EV charging as well ( level 2) Highly recommend this place. It's well worth the drive!
Our room was perfect. Charming with lots of character. The whole place is like that! Gorgeous views. Big soaker tub. Only negative was the bed; the mattress is very hard.
We went here for the night of our wedding and were treated very well. The view was breathtaking, the room was clean and comfortable and the dining was exceptional. We had a lovely walk down the spit in the morning and a delicious breakfast to follow. Staff was friendly. The decor is very West Coast with lots of eye catching pieces throughout the resort. Definitely worth checking out anytime of the...
Absolutely fabulous food. The bison burger alone is worth the trip. And if you’re lucky the chef’s classic blues playlist is on :)

Me and my new girlfriend booked the weekend last min. From The moment i seen the view i knew we were about to have the most memorable weekend. It was so romantic and perfect we basically just stayed in the room all weekend, talked and went hot tubbing. It was special in a way i cant put into words. We had one special request the morning we left and they were willing to do all they could to make...
This resort has the most stunning and serene view! The location was easy to find and we were warmly greeted upon arrival. We stayed in the rooftop suite, which had a large private patio and private hot tub. Everything was nice and clean and the bed was comfy and placed in the perfect spot to wake up with gorgeous ocean views. I would highly recommend checking out this gem of a spot!
Saying this place is amazing doesn’t do it justice. My wife and I stayed in the rooftop ocean front suite in July. When we arrived at the resort, which was easy to find using google maps, we were greeted by Veronica who quickly got us checked in. She showed us where our room was and told us about a few other things and then left us to enjoy it for ourselves which was exactly what we were looking for...
Beautiful place, great room, extremely quiet surroundings; Veronica left us alone to do our thing. Will do again.
This resort is staggeringly beautiful. We watched a pod of orcas swim by from the breakfast table. It's quiet, serene, secluded, and beautifully appointed. We rented the ocean house for a family long weekend and it was fantastic. Simply stunning.
After staying at Point West Oceanfront Resort my husband and I are already planning our 2nd trip. We were greeted by Veronica who was very pleasant and very accommodating. Our suite was fully equipped with no expenses spared, amazing, clean and comfortable. The view is absolutely breathtaking. Definitely a 5 star resort.

- Great location (very close to Whiffin Spot), chance to see lots of wild life nearby (eagles, seals, deer), a few minutes drive from grocery shops - The owners of the cottages are very friendly people - Nice continental breakfast included (welcome package) - Well equipped kitchenette
This place is an absolute gem!!! We were greeted by the owner and fresh baking and fruit trays upon arrival. The cottage itself is very clean and well kept. We stayed in the Captains cabin and were treated to visits by squirrels and hummingbirds with the odd glimpse of a racoon during our morning coffee. Absolutely adorable place! The owners were sweet, we had access to a garden and the docks. The furnishing in the house reminded me of my grandmothers' place, but in the best way possible, just cozy and a little vintage. I love this place so much. I felt so at home. Our little cabin was so cozy. They had supplied homemade slippers, jam, muffins and snacks. There is a private dock where seals lie in the sun. In summer you can go whale watching. You can walk along the beach and see the beautiful scenery.
We couldnt say enough nice things about this B&B. Three of us comfortably spent a weekend enjoying the sites and comfort of Sooke in a well priced accommodation. Breakfast and snacks were delicious and well appreciated. 100% will return again!
Great place by the waters, quite and total zen. Hospitality and service is great. Will go again for sure.

Exceeded our expectations, we stayed for one night, we were two adults, one kid and a baby, we got the royal suite room with the private bathroom. You would have everything included in the rooms wifi, towels, soap, shampoo and everything. The owners were very friendly.
Not sure why it has less than 4 stars. Sure, the curbside appeal isn't the best but we absolutely loved our stay here. The hosts are extremely sweet, the beds are insanely comfortable, the breakfast is adequate and it's in a great location in the middle of a forest, plus they are very dog friendly. It exceeded our expectations and we would stay here again.
This place cracked me up! It's named after a late dog and the whole place pays homage to Mastif show dogs. The hospitality was exceptional and the home was clean. I mention it is a home---this is a B & B. It is not a hotel, as listed. Our room did not look like the photo in the ad. You don't get your own bathroom, but share one. No tv, no phone and, in our room, no nightstand/bedside lamp. The...
During a spontaneous trip to the Peninsula, my husband and I decided to book at this location. We mainly decided to stay here for the reason they accept pets. Absolutely fantastic bnb. Chris was an amazing host with a big heart. She cooked us a great and filling breakfast both days and she made us smile a ton. Chris is a great host and she makes the stay very memorable. Not to mention the amazing views!!
It was our first experience with a bed and breakfast. The location and views are incomparable. Breakfast is very filling and the host makes sure it is different from day to day. The host will go out of her way to make your stay enjoyable. We will definitely go again.
Awesome experience, fantastic view, and such a great host! She went totally out of her way to help accommodate us and to make sure we were enjoying our stay!! The breakfast too was incredible and delicious; will definitely be back again :)
Stayed for one night. Amazing views from our room, very secluded and quiet. The lady that owns it is lovely and so helpful. Had a huge delicious breakfast included!
This is the place if you are looking for an authentic BnB experience. The owner, Chris, is very caring about her guests. We checked-in late (10pm) because of heavy traffic, she stayed up to make sure we arrive safe and sound. The room we stayed had a great view of the cove and it was very spacious. Charming spot and genuine welcoming hosts. We had the Studio suite for 4 nights. Small but cozy unit with everything you need to prepare great meals. Perfect for a couple. Extensive lovely gardens, roofed patio with bbq (excellent since it poured!). Marvellous views and great location for exploring the area. We will return.
After leaving Seattle in the afternoon we arrived quite late at the Inn, around midnight. The owner, Cathy, although very tired waited for us and made us feel very welcome. The charming cottage offered a great view, it feels as if you were in your own home. The amenities are many. Excellent value.

Perfect weekend getaway from Vancouver with warm and welcoming hosts. Thanks Alison and Pat for another excellent stay and hope to come back and enjoy the delicious breakfasts again some time!
Alison & Pat were the best possible B&B hosts and really made us feel like family coming home. We arrived late 10pm and Alison came outside to give us a warm greeting as soon as we arrived and still figuring out parking. Their home was lovely and very well decorated as we found from the tour they gave us. Breakfasts were amazing - menu was different everyday, we were pampered with the same service...
I stayed w/ Alison and Pat for 3 nights with 2 other friends. We had such a great time! They fed us great and filling breakfasts everyday and gave such good recommendations of what to see around/near town. The room was also very clean and comfortable. Everything was provided and there was nothing we lacked in our stay. Would definitely recommend and definitely book again when I’m nearby!
Allison and Pat were great hosts. Our hosts were great at providing recommendations based on where we were heading for the day. They got us ready for the day with a delicious breakfast every morning. We also enjoyed the hot tub on a rainy day. We were also able to access a spot by the water a short walk away.

Quite a sweet little place. Rick & Karen were lovely to interact with and very accommodating. Made a last minute booking and glad we did! Beautiful B&B with hotel like facilities... Loved the outdoor hot tub in a gazebo overlooking the ocean... The private access to the beach is a steep walk down and is definitely not for those who have any difficulty walking... However, if you can make it down, it is worth every bit of effort... They attended us immediately when we came in, food service was super quick, checked with us twice. And food was good too. I liked the simplicity and taste of it.
Rated best pub in town. Outstanding location and always good food. They prepare a lot foods themselves like the smoke albacore tuna which is excellent. Many of their beers are very good and the ginger ale they make themselves is the best I've ever had and I've had a lot, try it. If you like ginger you'll be blown away. Highlights: We stayed in their charming Victorian house for two nights and loved it. Great location and comfortable bed. We’d stay here again. Low points: Although the beer was good, the food and service in the restaurant was mediocre at best. We ended up eating elsewhere for most of our visit. (Note: we had a much better experience at a different restaurant within walking distance from here).
Food was excellent, but our server seemed not all with it. When asked about the starter that was ordered she said it was on its way... it never appeared. Exactly what we expected from a WorldMark stay - lovely rooms, comfy beds, adequately stocked kitchen, outdoor pool and hot tub, convenient parking, and a great location. I appreciated the gym and the staff was available whenever needed. Beautiful views, too. It was an easy walk to the ferry and all the hot spots in Victoria. We'll definitely be back!
Beautiful location! We enjoyed hearing the seaplanes land and watching the foot traffic at Fisherman's Wharf. The rooms were clean and the staff treated us so well. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Amazing place to stay. We loved it . The staff are really friendly and the home is a well kept 100 yr plus old mansion so it has all kinds of character . Beautiful stay and great breakfast too !! Would definitely recommend to anyone and we will definitely be going back
The staff here are wonderful. They make sure your every need is taken care of. I definitely recommend this hotel to the whole nation. It is so beautiful here. I love the way the lobby is set up.

Gorgeous place and generous/thoughtful host! 7:00 to all day breakfast hour - Great hot breakfast and some Asian selections. Will visit again :))
I recently had the opportunity to stay at this Inn that can only be described by me as quaint and eclectic. It was kind of like what if you stayed in a home during the Downton Abbey or Murdoch Mysteries era, and some modern conveniences were Jerry rigged within. The rooms literally felt like a time machine into the 1800s complete with the old style solid metal skeleton keys, and there were an odd appearance...
Great place to stay in Victoria. Very convenient to ferry and downtown, but on a quiet residential street. Tasty wholesome breakfast.
Generally good but we had problems with our toilet in the Kingston suite. In general the bathroom wasn't particularly clean. UV disinfecting was a nice feature, but lights and electrical looked a bit dodgy. Great location however!

Extremely comfortable rooms and overall a great time staying in the hotel the location was absolutely terrific, you are close to the parliament building the museum government street and the fishermen’s wharf. Almost everything you need to do is on 20 minutes walking distance from the hotel. And the view was absolutely stunning you can watch boats take off and sea planes land. If you’re visiting Victoria...
We wanted to love our stay, but unfortunately we were disappointed. We chose this hotel because it was our first get away as parents without our daughter, and thought it sounded lovely with the views and amenities. We stayed two nights. The room had a great view, but the room itself was dated. We also weren’t told at check in that there was no housekeeping for those who stay less than three nights...
Amazing location, feels like the sea planes are going to land in your room if you get the right one! Service was excellent and easy to walk along thr coastal path to Fisherman's wharf or the other way to central Victoria. Great place.
I recently stayed and attended a conference here at the Laurel. I was truly blown away with the positive experience. My room was exceptional with one of the best views in the city. All staff went above and beyond being super friendly and receptive. The food at the conference was to die for. Thank you so much and I am excited to go back!
Absolutely amazing hotel. The rooms are clean, bright, and spacious. We had a room with an unbeatable view of the harbor - we even got to see a heron frequent the shellfish beds in front of the hotel! Staff was excellent and made our stay great, and were so helpful when we forgot something in the room after checking out. The restaurant was delicious and we were always able to quickly get a table. They...
Had a dinner sent to our room with wine, it was fantastic. We had awesome service from all the staff that we interacted with at the hotel.

Excellent guest service for the room and the dining area. Not many hotels would offer that but it's a great addition to have a water dispenser beside the ice machine to keep us hydrated. I also love hotels with guest laundry - very convenient. The free breakfast was good. Kids love making pancakes. Walking distance to most of the tourist areas nearby. We loved our stay here!
The rooms have low quality finishes, but they seem newer than most. The ceiling has popcorn with some damage. The bathrooms are in decent condition with once again low quality finishes but everything works. We even had a small kitchenette and our room which we were not aware of so if we were staying longer we could certainly use that. The entrance is on the back side of the building from the harbor...
This hotel is a good place to stay. Close to the Clipper dock and is just a few minutes walking to the downtown area. The hotel building and grounds are well kept. Our room was clean and well maintained. No visible wear and tear. The breakfast buffet dining room is only accessible by stairs, there might have been another way in, but it was not obvious to me. The food was well stocked with a variety...
This was my second time stay at this hotel. Everything is perfect. Rooms quality, room rent, proximity to harbor front, tourist places, parking, morning breakfasts. Staff is very friendly. I mentioned that I am bringing my family for celebrating birth and as a sweet gesture they put a chocolates in the room, they also upgraded our breakfast to pendry’s breakfast which was an amazing experience. You...
We just stayed here and EVERYTHING was great!! Friendly staff, comfortable well equipped room ( really liked the unscented, waste free shower products). Breakfast buffet was terrific! Location was great! Good value all around!
We recently had our second stay at the Huntingdon Manor and we were very pleased. The front desk staff were very pleasant and accommodating even though it was quite busy. Similarly, the breakfast team were very friendly. The breakfast buffet selection was quite good with a nice variety of hot food, fruit, yogurt, cereal and so on. The key difference between this stay and our first stay was the...

This was part of a package deal with BC ferries, so I drove down from Sidney. It has a fantastic location, directly across the street from Black Ball Ferry and the Victoria Clipper. Easily walkable to all the Inner Harbor attractions. Staff are great, food service is FAST! Only 2 things- the room I had-409- has a funky bathroom- it is one step up from the rest of the room while the toilet is very...
Rooms have been updated. They offer nightly rental deals as well as monthly stay rates. 60 $ a night is a fantastic deal for downtown Victoria. They allow pets so you can bring your best buddy with you. There is a park right beside this hotel so perfect for your furry friend. You have a bus stoop right in front so it's easy to get around and only minutes from downtown. They have a restaurant and bar...
This was the second time I stayed at this location. The rooms are clean and the service at the front desk is 5 star. This is a pet friendly accommodation however be advised there is a fee associated. There is a large park near the water just across the road and plenty of parking. But no space if you are towing a trailer.
This was the second time our group booked this particular hotel. We found the rooms to be roomy and clean and the fact that it had a kitchenette was great! Can't beat the location - close to where we needed to get to with great trails for walking. Definitely will return again!
Beautifully landscaped place, and very nice staff here. It's a gem with views of DT. Kitchenette suites available at reasonable prices. The prices do fluctuate depending how busy and the season. Pet friendly! Will definitely stay here again. There's also a pub/restaurant on the top level with live music "8 days a week". Some things to note: 1. There are no elevators and lots of steep stairs, though...
Great staff, great location, clean rooms and the Loft pub is awesome! They make you feel like a local and you get to meet a lot of great people, listen to live music and enjoy a great menu!

Close to the small ferries and government house. Close to downtown. Pool was outdoors and really enjoyable. Hot tub was hot. Breakfast on site was delicious everyday we were there. Really enjoyed the hotel and the staff were very helpful. Will...
The rooms were exceptionally clean with housekeeping being very attentive and friendly. The views were very nice. The service was excellent, but the breakfast was willfully meager and disappointing. Considering the other hotels in the area that serve excellent breakfast there's no excuse for the repetitive and unappetizing breakfast that was served in the six days I stayed there.
Rooms are very clean, lots of space, but a little dated and could use a bit of a refresh. Staff were really friendly and very helpful. The location is fantastic! The included breakfast was decent. Aside from the lumpy pillows the beds are comfortable.
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights during our recent BC trip. We were fortunate to get a large end room on an upper floor with two balconies. The room was bright, comfortable and quiet. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The included hot breakfast was good and the location was excellent for sightseeing in Victoria.
It was a comfortable & excellent stay in the convenient/ best located hotel at central pier. Rooms are big, hygienic with amenities like sofa cum bed, microwave, fridge, cooking range, tea/coffee making m/c with two accessible balconies. The breakfast was nice & tasty. In lobby, complimentary Coffee making machine & drinking water facilities are praise worthy. The Gentleman at reception was very courteous...
We enjoyed having the hotel location near downtown and the harbor of Victoria. Loved the complimentary kitchenette. We only found out later, during check out, that there was on the premises a self serve guest laundry facility.

Room is fine and comfy but no air conditioner. Bit of a bummer . Pretty warm in here with small volume rotating fan . But right downtiwn , inner harbor area . Several excellent restaurants within couple blocks , capital buildings , museum , horse carriages , Empress hotel .
Stayed here with my family, it is an older property but very well maintained. It is clean and very cozy with a nice dividing wall between sleeping and tv/kitchen area. Halls were clean and quiet. I loved how quiet it was on the balcony. The hotel is near the harbor but away from the noise of the main street. Good walking distance to the Harbour and downtown. April 3-6, 2023. Great find for a moderately priced hotel within easy walking distance to the Victoria Clipper. Friendly staff, particularly Kevin who provided shuttle service when I was too pooped to walk to my next destination. Room was well appointed. We have stayed here many many times over the years. The rooms are very well kept and comfortable. The convenience of the hotels location make it easy to go in any direction on foot or by cab/car. Beautiful hotel, it is so elegant and the room was so big, also it is located in a really good place you could go almost everywhere by walking. It is so clean and the employees are so kind and friendly. It has a jacuzzi, pool and game room, it is so comfortable! I recommend it!

Hotel seems old and has that old "I've been on the harbour for 20 years" smell. Not gross at all, just not fresh and new. Rooms are tight but very clean. Full bathroom and we had a little fridge and extra sink. Awesome location as it's right by the legislative assembly and museum etc.
We stayed at the hotel for one night. The hotel is showing its age, clean enough but a VERY small bathroom with a difficult step up/down into it, beware in the middle of the night. The room is a true hotel room size (tight). The restaurant has a great view but the food was less than good! I would have to say sad!! Location is great though.
Very nice rooms . Comfy. Up to date. Close to center of town only a couple minutes walk to get where ever you need to go. Bus station right around the block. Beautiful views of the harbour. Restaurant and bar at bottom entrance in case your hungry or just need a break. Friendly staff , helpful and knowledgeable of Victoria surroundings. I'll definitely return and promote this hotel. Rooms have options...
Thanks to the Days Inn for a great stay! I enjoyed the hotel's perfect location, the warm pool and hot tub, coffee in the lobby, and clean rooms. What really stood out was the friendly and helpful staff, especially at the front desk. Rates in October were reasonable. Management/staff have done their best to make a somewhat dated building look inviting. It was also nice to have a restaurant/bar on the...
The staff are friendly, rooms are clean, and location isn’t too bad. I would definitely stay again. Pool and hot tub have been open, clean and there’s complimentary coffee/tea too. Only qualm is for parking, it’s a bit tight. Not bad if you can park in tighter spots.
Service was amazing, especially with pets. The staff bent over backwards to help me get a litter box together and adjust the cleaning schedule for my pets during a last minute move. The location is also amazing. Strongly recommend for those who want the best deal for their budget.

Came here for a wedding. The room was perfect. Spacious and clean and had everything I needed. The hotel is an easy walk to anything one would need and has a great restaurant option if you want something close.
This hotel is AMAZING! Hotel and Rooms are very very clean and modern, staff is extremely friendly and helpful and hotel is so close to everything downtown while also providing enough distance (across a bridge) to feel your car and yourself are both secure. Views from harbour view rooms are amazing. I stayed here for 4 nights in a harbour view room 812 and was very impressed with this hotel and staff...
This is far from a 4 star hotel. Probably 2.5 star is a more accurate rating. Toilet takes forever to fill, shower head is in the middle of the bath tub shooting straight out to the middle of the bathroom. Towels are old and paper thin. Air conditioner wasn’t working properly. Was told if the fix didn’t work could open the window for nighttime cooling. Staff is good and service prompt. This Marriott...
Love staying here. Been coming here for years, even before Marriott took over as owners. Rooms are clean, well appointed and stocked, we were in a newly renovated room and it was very nicely done. Great location on the water with a short walk over the bridge to shops and restaurants or a fun water taxi ride, if you prefer.
I have to rave about Delta Hotel. Everything here is just perfect and brings so much happiness. The hotel service is exceptionally attentive, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Since we arrived at the hotel before 11 am, after taking the earliest ferry to Victoria, the front desk (a gentle lady with glasses and black hair) kindly prioritized our check-in, promising to accommodate us as soon as a...

The interior feels newlly refurbished, the toilet is so clean and modern. And the bed maybe one of the most comfortable one I've stayed on. A really high quality hotel room. Location is impeccable. Minutes away from all the great spots in Victoria.
This staff was super responsive and kind. The room was a good size and very clean. The pool was perfect for families and because it only got to about 4ft, families were able to spread out and not be on top of each other. The location cannot be beat- it is a very doable walking distance from the Clipper and many of the attractions. My 6 year old described it as fancy and old-school. 😂
Great place, close to everything, great room service (after asking for it), great bar, great food. But it was strange to check into a 4.5 star hotel and be told our room did not include daily linen service for our three night stay. I’m not sure why? We eventually called room service and they were happy to provide the service.
We've been coming to Victoria with our family for the past 6+ years. For the past 3 years, we've been staying at Hotel Grand Pacific. There are many choices of hotels in the James Bay area, but HGP is probably the best bang for your buck in terms of quality, service, and location. We've done the harbor view, street view, and most recently - harbor suite. I can guarantee that the harbor suite is the...
We stayed in April for an event. It’s very nice and convenient for the purpose of our visit. The room itself is pretty nice and updated with plenty of cabinets. The soaker tub is also great. Cons: The room was pretty cold to my...
The rooms are beautiful, clean and we have a harbor view and balcony with stunning views of the yachts, boat taxis and pontoon planes. Beautiful town skyline views. The front desk staff were nice but not overly helpful or friendly. They seemed put out at having to wait on us.
