Stou Kir Yianni

I was very excited to return to Stou Kir Yianni since my first visit in 2022. They did not disappoint again the second time round!

Fantastic, attentive service from beginning to end and I really appreciated that ALL staff members spoke some Greek among other languages. Everyone who works there takes great pride in their work and what is on offer is a true Cypriot treat!

To the food now, the traditional meze comes in stages but everything was made with fresh ingredients and is packed with flavour. From the fresh bread and tasty dips to the delicious meat and stuff pumpkin flowers, everything was a taste-bud journey. Some dishes have a twist which is refreshing because sometimes traditional dishes can get repetitive.

On weekends they have a fixed meze with veg options too.

This restaurant is a must if you are in Omodos. Food is absolutely fresh and delicious, traditional but with modern twist.
They serve their own wines along the food , that make the experience complete.
The atmosphere is very warming , with live music and the service is top - they give you time to enjoy the food!

When exploring Omodos, this restaurant is a safe choice. The cozy and warm ambiance, coupled with pleasing aesthetics, sets the perfect tone. The staff is exceptionally kind, and the prices are reasonable, making it a delightful dining experience. The menu offers tasty options, and the freshly served bread adds a nice touch. Although the surprise of the deep-fried chicken caught us off guard, its flavor was nonetheless enjoyable.

Nice rooms, live music in the restaurant and wine shop. Friendly staff and tasty food. Good breakfast.

Strongly recommended to take Lamb meze, just please make sure that you are as hungry as possible. Try to skip breakfast as well, every dish is a must try (and must finish)!

A tavern that serves super delicious food. We ordered the sharing dishes (a little bit of everything) we got a very tasty fresh salad, dips with homemade rolls that were great... fried halloumi with sesame and a very tasty piece of pork! We had dessert with a fruit platter.. the service was very kind! Highly recommended place!

Very nice place. Friendly People. Great food. Too much food actually to be honest, but it's really nice to get to know the Cypriotian food and habits. There also was a live band the whole evening which was just awesome.

A cozy and traditional place beautifully decorated. Although we did not have a reservation, they served us immediately. The food is delicious. We tried the pork chop and the chicken skewer. They also brought us halloumi with sesame and honey, served from the store. One of the few restaurants that serves properly iced beer. The staff is very friendly and polite. We left with the best impressions. We will visit the restaurant again.
