Reviews
Stay far away from this place!
Small, somewhat stingy issues
1) Bath towels were given sparingly
2) It's advertised as a kosher hotel. NOTE: Only breakfast is kosher
3) It's not very close to the city center (port)
Do not go near this hotel!!! This is a scam!!!
Lovely hotel, thats super clean, quiet, and relaxing. staff are very nice and we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a beautiful villa! The beds weren't as comfortable as they could be but as mentioned, very clean so that's important for me! food was decent, nothing special but you are also close to lots of things to do/eat and 15 min walk to the main area of the beach front. the views are gorgeous and you wont be able to look away!
We said exaggerating Israelis
Well - they are not!!!
The lobby looks like a hostel - old sofas and peeling walls
Rooms with a view of construction sites and grass
When we asked to change they refused
Elevators every minute get stuck and flooded
A bad smell throughout the hotel, a floor that is always wet to the point of slipping, the corridors are dark as if the place is abandoned
Bathrooms without locks (you'll have to hope they don't break into you in the middle of a bath)
We asked for additional towels and did not receive any
And let's not start talking about the food
Tsharon's food at a higher level
Half of the food is spoiled
All the food is cold and dry, bland and tasteless
Abnormal density
The hotel is divided into kosher and non-kosher. We expected to eat in the main dining room which looked normal but it turns out that those who want to eat kosher have to go down to the basement where there is a dining room that resembles a prison dining room
like second class tourists
While the main dining room is empty all the kosher eaters have to crowd down like sardines to get the daily portion
We will not make such a mistake again. We will not return here!!!
Very good service
The kosher food is excellent
The rooms are comfortable and large.
And the view is mind-blowing
It is important to note that there are some paid attractions (sailing + jeeps, a trip to the mountains, a crazy water park) that are offered by the Unique service (Kahana Group) and that usually depart from the Blue Lagoon, but you can talk to the people responsible for the attractions and ask them to pick you up from the Gold Lagoon for the attraction/ and as you wish (that's what we did). The cruise was an unforgettable experience and the water park was also extreme and suitable for all ages.
And for those who don't want to spend money beyond the hotel expenses - you can enjoy a walk on the cool promenade that is full of lively restaurants and bars. In addition, there is the Tombs of the Kings mall, just walking around it is an experience in itself, and it is located about 8 minutes away (a taxi cost 10 euros for all of us one way).
In short, we had a perfect vacation, highly recommend!!!
