We had a really enjoyable stay (8 nights) at Charalambos. Andreas and Simoni are excellent hospitable hosts with lots of ideas for things to do and were generous with gifts during our stay. The apartment was very comfortable and the pool and the garden were well kept and relaxing. We fully recommend this village location and accommodation and we plan to return.

I had a great stay here over 4 nights in early September. I was very comfortable in the little open plan apartment, which had a fully stocked kitchen and was very clean. I barely left the apartment, as I found it a great place to get some rest and relaxation. The town of Kalavasos itself was charming, quiet and easy to get around. Andreas and Simone are amazing hosts, they really know how to pay attention to the details and the place looks like a paradise from the moment you open the main entrance of the complex! We have just been here. Not only the room was super clean and lovingly decorated as the rest of the 300 year old house but it is managed by the sweetest of hosts who is very helpful and friendly. Will definitely come here when we return to Cyprus.

The property is in small village only a few minutes from the cost and convenient for the airport being only half an hour away. It built from local stone which gives it a great look. Swimming pool and a great breakfast both add to the stay.

Many things to know before you come here: - As reviewed, it’s not the four seasons. It’s bang average with a few minor flaws but mostly okay - Skarinou is in the middle of nowhere! - Public buses are not frequent (though cheap!!) and don’t run late so you can end up stranded (10 mins drive is over an hours walk everywhere) - Taxi’s do not like travelling to or from Skarinou - Not low/declined mobility...

Loved this tranquil hideout in the hills of Vavla village. Beautiful setting, exceptional host, stunning rooms with self catering and supermarket in the next village. Nestled between a fab little winery and the A1 road if needing a bit more escapism. Relax, rest and let the world pass you by here.

The rooms contain traditional Cypriot items which were used mainly for preparing and storing food e.g. bread. We have just had a fabulous three night stay in the Cape Town Cabin. The breakfasts are amazing, all prepared using organic vegetables and free range eggs. The owner , Paul, is lovely and sent us home with bags full of veggies from his garden. What a little gem this place is: and the icing on the cake is that it is dog friendly too!
