Good but not too much The rooms are old and not very comfortable. The location is excellent, near the most interesting trails. The food is average. The price is a bit too high for the quality of service, considering it's a hotel with few amenities. The breakfast is good and varied. Staff very good and kind.

This is a hotel with restaurant available to non-hotel guests. It is at the roundabout on Troodos square. We visited on Sunday lunchtime which was busy. They have a buffet but we ordered something simpler from the menu. Service could have been friendlier and there were a lot of young children running around uncontrolled. We visited the restaurant just for dinner. The atmosphere was very cozy! Hot chocolate with marshmallows was amazingly tasty and the soups delicious!!! We had a mushroom soup and a veggie soup..both portions were big and very satisfactory.

The hotel is quite old, and while the room had air-conditioning and a nice shower, there wasn’t really anything special about it. The breakfast was limited and didn’t offer much variety, which was disappointing. I also feel the hotel is overpriced for what it provides. However, the view was very nice and probably the best part of the stay.

A hotel with lots of character and history nestled amongst mature pine trees on the outskirts of Platres. The staff are polite, very helpful and accommodating. It was an incredible pleasure to stay at the New Helvetia Hotel! The location and the view from the windows are stunning with all the pine trees right next to the balconies and the mountain views all around. This was not our first time staying at this hotel, and we keep coming back mainly for its excellent location and the beautiful mountain views from the room balconies. Breakfast is another highlight — delicious, varied, and served on a terrace with a stunning view, which makes the mornings here especially enjoyable. This hotel is very well located in the center of the village and offers an excellent service, as well as a delicious breakfast for a reasonable price. So not much to report about except for the size of the rooms : very small, and the bathrooms: tiny. A pity, otherwise it would be perfect.

Absolutely charming hotel up in the mountains in a beautiful village. Having a steam room and hot tub amongst the trees of the forest took the whole experience to the next level. Andrea’s the manager there was so kind and helpful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable.

This is a boutique hotel situated in a quiet location in a pine forest above a small mountain village. I had an excellent meal and a comfortable bed. Internal stairs, so not suitable for disabled customers.

We stopped by at this hidden gem with some friends that know the village well. The hotel is lovely, the food , exceptional!! What a great find, the chef is so good , the hotel is so Nicky laid out and am impressed by the herb and vegetable garden for the kitchen! Highly recommend you searching this hidden gem out.

After several positive recommendations, specifically for the food, finally we spent a weekend with a good bunch of friends. Our initial plan was to go for a tour on Sunday and have lunch elsewhere. The extremely attending Manager and later in the day the Owners made the atmosphere so welcoming and friendly that for two days we only left the hotel to stretch a bit. In Platres there are not many places open to eat in the evening in September but we got a decent meal here with a friendly helpful waiter who was happy for us to order food early but specify a time we’d like the food to arrive, which was most accommodating. We didn't stay at the hotel, but stopped by for refreshing smoothies. The smoothie was made from local fruits and was absolutely delicious with beautiful presentation. We had a little chat with lovely manager Chara, she was so sweet and gave us some plums from their garden to go. Highly recommend this place!

We wanted a budget friendly place to use as our base camp as we would be out hiking the natural trails and this small place was recommended to us. Vintage and beautiful. A "Forest" paradise in the mountains. Old, mature and full of history. It's my second time staying at Forest Park hotel. Stayed during winter, it was snowing and it was magical. This time it was summer and it was as beautiful as it gets. Me and my friends were out here for 2 nights. We found in the toilet cupboard smashed wood that made holes and we found dirt in them, we obviously didn't put anything in there. Then I had my other friends tell me that their mattress was filled with dust and hair. The doorknobs barely worked, we had to put a nightstand to properly close and some keys opened other rooms. We stayed at the Forest Park hotel for 2 nights. We were very pleased with the service we received from all the hotel staff and the overall facilities. The service was excellent, the staff were very friendly and charming. The room service cleaned the rooms daily and thoroughly. The staff was friendly and helpful. The complex view is spacious, clean and well kept. Extremely nice apartment with very enjoyable veranda. Unfortunately we had some small issues: one morning there was no power and we also got locked in. The host quickly came to get us out but the design of the door to the balcony should probably be revised.

A magical place in the Marathas valley, the village of Pedoulas, where you don't want to leave. Surrounding mountains, beautiful nature, clean air. Beautiful, comfortable rooms for living, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. In winter there is heating and fireplaces for romantic evenings. For those who want to barbecue, there is a large veranda for parties) Beauty, thoughtful design...

Nice design but no Service consciousness at all. Don't even think of breakfast - just go to 'two flowers'. Which means you have to climb up to the restaurant.

The room was great, a bit chilly maybe, but the warm comforter in the closet made all the difference. The furniture is a bit dated, but the bed was one of the best I've ever slept in. The shower was good, although cold in the evening (keep in mind that you might have to wait till the morning to have hot water). The view from the balcony was amazing, overlooking the village. My friend and I were to this restaurant one week ago. The staff is very friendly and nice. The man who served us was very friendly :) It's cheap and good. We have just waited a lot for the food, but it's low season and they might be under staff so it's fine. Thank you!

Nice hotel in the center of Pedoulas. Inside it is all made of wood and there are some stuffed animals. The furnishings are a bit old but everything is clean and tidy. The staff are welcoming and make you feel at home. In the adjoining restaurant it is possible to eat typical Cypriot dishes such as stifado, moussaka and pork kebab. The courses are abundant and tasty and do not take long to arrive....

The hotel has very scenic view. Spacious room and equipped with all the necessary amenities. Breakfast didn’t have massive variety, but everything for a balanced breakfast. We were told to park in-front of the hotel, which felt a bit unsafe as the streets are quite narrow. Terrible sleep due to no sound proof rooms. We could hear snoring and television playing all night long from the rooms adjacent...

Loved our stay here at the Two Flowers Hotel. Friendly staff, cosy laid back dining area with a beautiful view of the mountains (especially in the morning). The balcony in the room was a highlight, overlooking Pedoulas- we had room 201. Decent breakfast. Overall, fantastic value and would happily stay again.

Stopped here on the way to Kykkos. Very friendly staff and a nice view in this local place. Get: any of the soups (all were realy great), village salad (one of the best in Cyprus), and get the Mountain tea. Skip: Ravioli, zero taste.

During my visit to Pedoulas, I dined at this restaurant, mainly because it's one of the few options in the area. The service was incredibly friendly, which was a definite plus. However, I found the food to be below average. In my opinion, the owner should consider updating the menu to align with modern tastes. I'd suggest streamlining the menu by 70% and focusing on serving dishes in a more modern...

Wonderful stay with big windows offering great views of the mountains. The hotel smells cleanliness and i loved the corner with the fireplace - perfect for book reading. The rooms are immaculately clean and warm, with a small balcony. Excellent rates with breakfast included and offering a good selection. The owners are friendly and accommodating. I heartily suggest it. Will return without a doubt.

Amazing place! The hotel has been operational since 1945, and you can really feel its history—in a good way! It’s super clean, the Wi-Fi works perfectly, and the owner is wonderful. We also enjoyed the breakfast (8 euros extra). The view from the balcony was stunning. Really, I can’t recommend it enough.

The price/performance ratio is good. It is cool to live in the mountains. The elderly are at the front desk and can speak English. The price is worthy of the surrounding environment. There are resorts nearby for those with high requirements (the price is 150 euros per night). This hotel is quite cozy to live in

Great place to stay during your visit in Cyprus. Well equipped house with living room and kitchen on the 1st floor and 3 bedrooms on the 2nd. It has some balconies and exit to a lovely garden around. The owner is very friendly and responds quickly for everything.. Located several minutes drive from a Supermarket and a Bakery. Around 1/2 hour drive to Troodos and mountains around. About 40 mins drive...

We really enjoyed our stay at the River House. Very lovely setting with beautiful mountain views and everything you would need in the villa. The owner was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had prior to our stay.We will definitely be going back and would highly recommend the River House for anyone wanting a quiet and relaxing break.

We visited in the winter, it was lovely, the house is fully equipped with everything you can think of, clean, tidy, the access with a car is a bit difficult, but there is a car park four minutes walk away. Highly recommended!
