A trip to Troodus shouldn't be missed, in summer a cool retreat from the beachside heat. This hotel a gem, the appearance of a ski-lodge (which I think it is in winter. Exceptional staff on the desk and in the restaurant. We had a lovely room with a balcony, excellent views

Can't rate rooms or hotel, only restaurant. Feels like old, but cozy, bit vintage vibe. Pricey and meat is dry. Overcooked. But soups were nice. Nice fireplace.

Amazing place in the heart of troodos! Cozy and really warm rooms and lounge area! Offers massage but only on weekends and also a fitness area! I would love to come back for sure

We stayed here only 1 night. The hotel is right at the centre of Troodos and it's a very comfortable place. We booked a suite and it had a stunning view. The food at the restaurant were we had dinner was good and the breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of food.

Only dined in the restaurant after being in the mountains. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Negative: waiters weren’t really on the ball - friendly enough, but they seemed to forget we were there and forgot half our order and we had to (eventually) get their attention to get the rest of our food. However, overall was nice.

We were greeted with a smile, the rooms are very clean, the staff was very friendly, it is close to the center and the breakfast was excellent . I recommend it.

it was an amazing experience. it was the 2nd time we visited in 2 weeks. the food is amazing, the place is amazing, the staff is amazing. highly recomend it. it is 1 minute from the centre of troodos and it is amazing. the location is the best as well!!!!!!

Jubilee hotel is placed in a crowdless area and has an othentic design. It hase many rooms and space inside . Usually, it is more crowded in the winter - when you can ski in troodos forests nearby. Although, It gets only 3 stars because of the rooms. they have no refrigerator like a minibar and no kitchen. they are very small too. Great place for skiing tho....

Small, family run hotel situated in the heart of the forest. The hotel was really clean and the people who own it are extremely polite, helpful and welcoming. Great breakfast and the environment id extremely cosy.

Stayed for a week hiking / exploring around Troodos. Ideal location, very near the 2 Platres waterfalls. Very quiet hotel, with good breakfast.

Excellent location, perfect weekend escape. Lovely staff they accommodated all of our needs. Platres is a great village to explore with you friends. Pleanty hiking trail options and great Cypriot food.

The location of the hotel is really nice and surounded by trees. The decoration and vibe of the common areas is vintage and very well chosen. It gives a very positive and heartfelt atmosphere. The breakfast is decent and includes a variety of options. The rooms are very basic, but clean. It also includes a restaurant and a bar.

The New Helvetia is a cozy hotel with a very "chilled", ski lodge vibe in the hills just above Platres. We were given a room with a beautiful view on the 2nd floor and 2 balconies, and the staff were proactive and forthcoming with any requests. As a history teacher, I fell in love with the beautiful decor, much of which is from Austria and dates back to the 1930s. Perfect for a short break in Platres...

Visited the place last month in July. The hotel looks fantastic with an old architecture that travels you back in time, and that's the great thing about it. The downside of it was on a windy night the windows were not possible to close properly and as a result they were bunging making noises that ruined our sleep. The location was great in nature, but that bunging of the windows messed up our experience...

A nice hotel if you're on a budget. The rooms and the hotel in general are somewhat dated and could use some renovation (especially the rooms). I really liked the breakfast room. Also, the girl at the front desk was super helpful and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. Be prepared for a steep hike back to the hotel from the center of the village if you're on foot.

Cozy room, very warm, but no water pressure in the shower. Perfect for one night! Friendly staff.

I'm giving 5stars to this hotel, firstly because of the frienfly enviroment i found there...The owners are very friendly and always willing to help as much as they can! The hotel is always clean and tidy. Secondly, for those people seeking a quiet and relaxing hotel, theres no way they wouldnt love this place!

Lovely family run hotel with delicious home made food, cosy room which is perfect for two and a nice view from the balcony. There are also amazing nature trails and views nearby, the owners directed me to all the places worth seeing!

Wow, what a pearl it is! I stayed for 3 nights and it was.. perfect! The view from my balcony on the mountains js amazing, the breakfast buffet has everything you dream of, the staff is super friendly and chatty, the location is perfect to see (and hike!!) the area and last but not least… there is a sauna / steaming bath you can reserve for yourself. I was surprised by the warmth and coziness of this...

Gorgeous location and hotel! Service and luxury exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was fresh and everything was made from scratch, staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was small, it can comfortably fit a person but a bit difficult for 2 people. The area is absolutely magical with hiking trails, river, forest, waterfall all within 20mn of walking. My husband and i just returned from a weekend trip to this stunning hotel with our 2 children. We were really impressed especially by the views all round and the resteraunts. The food was sensational and the staff were lovely and helpful. The only issue we had as a family with two young kids was that the rooms were a little on the small side and we were a bit tight for space. Perfect for if we went...

I stayed there for 3 nights with my boyfriend and the time we spent there was amazing! First of all, the location of the hotel is set with a nice view and Trodos Mountains can be seen. Secondly, the staff welcomed us with a positive manner and they were kind and helpful as well. The room was also suitable and comfortable for us. Very nice small hotel. Cosy lobby, fresh rooms and modern facilities. Also great breakfasts, worth visiting for breakfast. Fine dining in the restaurant. Great service all around, kid and pet friendly. No parking on the spot but available not far away.

Location is great. Hotel is well maintained and nice designs but for the money paid, room was tiny, shower was a small square box just enough to stand straight. All in all cute but not value/quality ratio is quite bad

Absolutely charming hotel up in the mountains in a beautiful village. Having a steam room and hot tub amongst the trees of the forest took the whole experience to the next level. Andrea’s the manager there was so kind and helpful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable.

This is a boutique hotel situated in a quiet location in a pine forest above a small mountain village. I had an excellent meal and a comfortable bed. Internal stairs, so not suitable for disabled customers.

We stopped by at this hidden gem with some friends that know the village well. The hotel is lovely, the food , exceptional!! What a great find, the chef is so good , the hotel is so Nicky laid out and am impressed by the herb and vegetable garden for the kitchen! Highly recommend you searching this hidden gem out.

After several positive recommendations, specifically for the food, finally we spent a weekend with a good bunch of friends. Our initial plan was to go for a tour on Sunday and have lunch elsewhere. The extremely attending Manager and later in the day the Owners made the atmosphere so welcoming and friendly that for two days we only left the hotel to stretch a bit. Had the best time at this little hotel that is made out of a fairytale! Quiet place in nature, easy to access, with a great cozy lounge room/restaurant and the friendliest stuff! Our experience at the hotel was great! Nice clean rooms and nice breakfast. We asked for soup at the evening and they made it specially for us. Stefano was very helpful and welcoming.

Beautiful hotel with amazing surroundings, we were welcomed by stephanos the owner on our arrival. The rooms are large with everything you need, air conditioning, TV, comfy beds and a gorgeous balcony. Our food was prepared by stephanos's father and was delicious! Local produce some of which is from their own farm. The family run hotel is a must visit in Platres and highly recommend the restaurant...

Was happily surprised by the hospitality of the wonderful owners Chara and Stephanos. Made me feel like home straight away. The rooms are spacious and clean, fully renovated, with good taste. Heating air-conditioning and hot water available. Very tasty food and excellent breakfast. Would recommend. Thank you for everything!

This new hotel in platres is where you want to stay for a warm relaxed and cosy mountain vacation. The rooms are very comfortable and warm and with a nice balcony. I loved the old retro style that goes all over the hotel areas but with new and good appliances like bathroom is fully renovated. The back yard is really beautiful as well. We had a good time here and the hostess and staff were very helpful...

We stayed at the Forest Park hotel for 2 nights. We were very pleased with the service we received from all the hotel staff and the overall facilities. The service was excellent, the staff were very friendly and charming. As an LGBT+ couple visiting Cyprus (which is a pretty conservative country) we felt comfortable staying there, and everyone was very friendly with us. Personally we really liked...

Basic hotel that is very dated but just what you need for staying in the mountains and using it as a base ir quick place to stay but wouldn’t stay here if wanted to relax at the hotel! We stayed here as wanted to be super close to do mount Olympus walk the next day! Great beds and amenities in the bathroom and nice soft towels! Basic breakfast but was good and included in price!! Super friendly workers...

I would give 6 stars for location if I could. I enjoyed the stay,the walks between huge trees around the place and history lessons this hotel offers. It gives you the nostalgia feeling... Very much recommended for the bird watchers...

Great location of the hotel, surrounded by nature. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony and listening to the sounds of the nature. Everything was clean, staff was welcoming and professional, room was very comfortable.

It was a one day get away on the 25th of March 2024. For a 4 star hotel i was expecting a bit more on multiple fronts. The location is good and i assume in summer when the weather is better, this hotel will be more popular than what we observed. The negatives were unfortunately more than enough. We found a bug in the bedroom for starters. Other than that the room was old, as can be seen by the furniture...

I loved the hospitality and kind of communal feel to this place. George and his father Paul are l lovely people and make you feel very welcome. The breakfast is so good, and I had the best sleep here than I did in the whole of Cyprus, partly do with how peaceful it is up in the mountains, but also the quality of the beds.
