A very nice hotel, modern, clean, and quiet, located right downtown on the city square within a few minutes walk of many restaurants and shops. Quite large rooms, complimentary indoor parking for motorcycles. Wi-Fi is a little slow, but good enough. I recommend this hotel.

The Parkhotel Waldschlößchen is a very cozy hotel with very friendly staff. We had a spacious three-bed room and slept very well in the box-spring beds. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and we were welcomed with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine. really enjoyed my stay here - the room was super clean with a very comfy bed, the breakfast buffet had lots of choices, and everyone on the staff was so kind and welcoming. felt really well looked after the whole time. wish i could have stayed there longer!

A place to feel at home! The breakfast is extraordinary with a huge variety and very friendly staff. We liked the possibility to sit and have a coffee or cocktail around the bar area with comfortable sofas and daylight. You should try the homemade "Waldschlösschen" cake! Delicious! We will definitely stay at the Parkhotel again, when we are around next time.

My parents stayed in the beautiful Parkhotel for 3 nights (from January 7th to January 10th, 2025). In contrast to the negative reviews, they were completely enthusiastic. The hotel and restaurant are renovated. It is an old place which renovated nicely new. Modern furniture. friendly staff. Pleasant restaurant. The winter garden is open for a view of all the Buchholz area which is really nice.

We have been guests here for many years. Sure, the facility is dated and not the most modern, but everything is sparkling clean and the people who work there are very friendly. But, a small drawback, the bathroom is very small. But the breakfast is excellent.

Went skiing in Oberwiesenthal and stayed at the Hotel Goldene Sonne in Annaberg Buchholz. Had called from the way that it will be later, no problem. Very friendly staff, rooms are very spacious, clean. Dinner was also very tasty, as was breakfast. Especially these great rolls that come from a small private baker.

Just a solid place. Clean rooms, good beds, quality breakfast, good local a-la-carte menu. Friendly and helpfull staff. Quier on top of the hill. I don't understand any negative reviews. It's not a 5star hotel so don't have 5star expectations for a 3star room-rate and be fair. I would come back here any time. Do bring your own pillow if you don't like those fluffy ones.

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage, der Blick über die Stadt ist (besonders in der Weihnachtszeit) wunderschön. Das Personal war super freundlich. Unsere Kinder und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Everything perfect! Check in despite arriving later due to traffic jams went completely smoothly. The rooms are very clean, the breakfast great and the owner very friendly. What more could you want? We'll be back. PS. The price-performance ratio is great. Thanks again for the warm welcome

I had to go to Annaberg-Buchholz while I was still in Leipzig at 5 p.m. (still a lot of road). I was able to call the manager who agreed to come at 7:30 p.m. to welcome me when the reception schedule was largely exceeded! A fabulous welcome for a Frenchman in the depths of Saxony! Spacious and clean room, excellent breakfast, kind and accommodating manager! I highly recommend !

We were with a group of 8 men and felt very comfortable. The hostel has just reopened. Everything very clean and well-kept. Nice bathrooms, comfortable beds and a sufficient breakfast, what more do you need? Only note: trash cans in the rooms would be great :)
