Amazing hotel with a restaurant not at same level...

Unfortunately, the hotel did not meet my expectations regarding value for money. The bathroom looked outdated—probably from the 1980s—with visible mold and a poorly constructed shower area. The bed frames were partially torn, giving the room a worn-down appearance. Even at half the price, the stay would still not have felt fair. It seems the owner has not invested in renovations despite charging premium...

Very nice hotel. Every one was very friendly. The reception, staff, cooks, cleaning staff, bartender… lovely people! Good food, clean rooms. A swimmingpool where you can watch the sun rise whilst swimming in nice warm water. Very quiet neighbourhood. We loved every minute of our stay.

We had booked the "bison offer" for last weekend through Jochen Schweizer and were not disappointed. We had the "romantic room", which is very cozy and lovingly furnished. The hotel rooms meet the basic needs and are attractively priced. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. I can recommend the beer garden for drinks, but I was disappointed with the food. Frozen pads out of the deep fryer can make a mediocre schnitzel, but the burgers are a disgrace.

Great spot for local walks. Lot of interesting paths starting in the village. Very friendly and helpful owners. Very quiet and Hotel service for campers! Dogs allowed. No amenities, but ask the owners if you need anything.

We got the bridal-suite instead of the regular room, which made our stay very enjoyable. Very nice decorated, clean and proper. We even got a garage for our motorcycles to store. Breakfast was very good, with good coffee and fresh fruits. After a long ride in the Sauerland area, we could relax at the hotel-terrace with big glasses of German Weissbeer. :-)

A very nice hotel. Stayed in the junior suite which was super nice, modern, clean, very spacious with a master bedroom and in the living there were 2 coaches that open up and 2 daybeds (one in each room). The water pressure was excellent and there was also a huge walk in closet in the hall. The only drawback was that there was no fridge and no coffee machine in the suite.

Cosy, rustic and clean. Friendly service, good breakfast buffet and dinner. Hardly any vegetarian options though. Beautiful nature with lots of hiking trails nearby. The silence here is very relaxing.

Above all, the staff is to be emphasized. The lady at the front desk was very friendly. The room was nice and spacious. It is also very quiet, as the building with the rooms is set back a bit and therefore not directly on the street. All in all a very good price-performance ratio.

If you are looking for a scape plan to the nature this is a very good option. Here you have a 3 starts hotel and a very good german food restaurant. The quality of the food is really good, price is ok and the staff is very friendly. The view that you have from the restaurant is pure nature! Very nice place a little bit hidden and it was a hint from local people.

Wonderfully situated Gasthaus. You can make great walks starting here and end with a bear, lunch or dinner. I had a light lunch and enjoyed it very much. In summer you can horse ride starting here. I recommend it highly

5 stars and unfortunately we couldn't start our short vacation. We had to cancel at short notice (10 days before arrival) due to my husband's illness. Transparent plastic tablecloths over the actual tablecloths, guaranteed tomato soup with spray cream for a starter, generally the ambience in which many parties with many smokers have obviously been celebrated for decades...
