Very strange review from my. This hotel is very cheap so I need to confess that I had some doubt about it but I had the idea "let's give it a Chance". When you come in the first thing is that you want to run away, I'm very honest about this. A lot of people in line to check in it feels like mass toerisme. Ery comfortable hotel, and polite personnel. The food was not perfect, but OK. Only there was too less parking place for the guests in 96 rooms

Great pool and sauna, and wonderful nature nearby. Ideal for taking long walks in the forest.

Room is big with balcony and the all inclusive breakfast & dinner are nothing to shout about. No toast machine to make toasted bread & coffee is bad! If you want a quiet getaway then this is the place but don't have any expectations. The hotel has only the indoor swimming pool to offer which is the only thing I enjoyed!. No coffee/tea or mini fridge facilities in the room.

Stopped here randomly while on a motorbike trip through the Sauerland. Really atmospheric, friendly and accommodating staff. Clear and beautiful interior, a real sight to behold!

We had booked the "bison offer" for last weekend through Jochen Schweizer and were not disappointed. We had the "romantic room", which is very cozy and lovingly furnished. The in-house beer garden invites you to linger. Breakfast and dinner were perfect. The staff and the boss super friendly. If you like it very quiet and secluded, but cozy, this is the right place in our opinion. Sights in the area...

A bit noisy due to the location. Rooms quite quaint. The young employee early in the morning was apparently still a little overwhelmed. But otherwise very warm and friendly atmosphere.

The rooms are in new German terms, 100% old school, furnishings from the 70s/80s. But nothing broken or stained, everything in super clean condition down to the last corner. Has already been to the hotel several times for business and can only say positive things! Rooms are functional but comfortably furnished! Breakfast is first class. You should definitely make a reservation in the restaurant!

I have seldom eaten such excellent steaks, entrecote or burgers. I didn't expect such a fantastic meal at a very good price. The service was super nice. The Roastineer will definitely be our new favorite restaurant. We were all absolutely thrilled.

The food is super delicious and the meat is from the region, what more could you want. Nice hosts, rooms are clean, and the area is great for moped riding. Hardly anything better

The hotel rooms meet the basic needs and are attractively priced. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. I can recommend the beer garden for drinks, but I was disappointed with the food. Frozen pads out of the deep fryer can make a mediocre schnitzel, but the burgers are a disgrace.

We spent a weekend here and were totally enchanted by the beautiful surrounding, the mountains, early autumnal colors and charming village. The hotel itself gives a beautiful view of the valleys. From here various walks can be made, whilst the little village itself gives the possibility for short walks with young children. We were also able to have our breakfast and dinners here, which altogether...

Great spot for local walks. Lot of interesting paths starting in the village. Very friendly and helpful owners. Very quiet and Hotel service for campers! Dogs allowed. No amenities, but ask the owners if you need anything.

We got the bridal-suite instead of the regular room, which made our stay very enjoyable. Very nice decorated, clean and proper. We even got a garage for our motorcycles to store. Breakfast was very good, with good coffee and fresh fruits. After a long ride in the Sauerland area, we could relax at the hotel-terrace with big glasses of German Weissbeer. :-)

A very nice hotel. Stayed in the junior suite which was super nice, modern, clean, very spacious with a master bedroom and in the living there were 2 coaches that open up and 2 daybeds (one in each room). The water pressure was excellent and there was also a huge walk in closet in the hall. The only drawback was that there was no fridge and no coffee machine in the suite.

Dog friendly hotel at the edge of the forest, there's also a shower room with towels for your dog. Several hiking trails pass by the hotel, no need to use the car. The village is very quiet and full of character. Staff is very friendly. Recommended!

Old country hotel, but everything was clean, the room was very good, the bathroom seems to have been renovated not that long ago. An interesting symbiosis of old elements and new ones. Old window sills, new bathrooms, ... Breakfast was of a normal standard. It is very quiet and there is a lot of green space outside. Positively surprised.

If you are looking for a scape plan to the nature this is a very good option. Here you have a 3 starts hotel and a very good german food restaurant. The quality of the food is really good, price is ok and the staff is very friendly. The view that you have from the restaurant is pure nature! Very nice place a little bit hidden and it was a hint from local people.

Wonderfully situated Gasthaus. You can make great walks starting here and end with a bear, lunch or dinner. I had a light lunch and enjoyed it very much. In summer you can horse ride starting here. I recommend it highly
