we travelled with an e-car to the hotel. within several miles they do not have decent charging stations. luckily the hotel offers a simple power outlet which is fine if you stay overnight to charge up your car.

Great experience! The staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful and the breakfast was perfect! Would definitely send a friend there.

Four of us were very happy with the room size and cleanliness, the friendly and accommodating service, the wellness area and the location. There’s even a train stop right across the street and lots of parking. The hotel is on a main road but it isn’t loud and the hotel is close to places we wanted to walk, including a walk to a small herd of Bison & Wisent. One of the mattresses was a bit worn but...
We have stayed 6nights with my colleagues the rooms are big and quite clean with heaters . restaurant food is delicious with different menus . Very friendly staffs you can enjoy your stay

Great hotel with a nice wellness center to relax after a day of hiking. The restaurant of the hotel is perfect! Every meal is a peace of art and delicious. Very friendly staff.

Ery comfortable hotel, and polite personnel. The food was not perfect, but OK. Only there was too less parking place for the guests in 96 rooms

Pleasant 4 star hotel with nice all in formula! Sauna and swimming pool perfect, fitness room rather poor. Also in dining room naked tables give poor impression. But all in all ok
Room is big with balcony and the all inclusive breakfast & dinner are nothing to shout about. No toast machine to make toasted bread & coffee is bad! If you want a quiet getaway then this is the place but don't have any expectations. The hotel has only the indoor swimming pool to offer which is the only thing I enjoyed!. No coffee/tea or mini fridge facilities in the room.

Nicely located hotel in an area where you can walk well. The owners and staff are fantastic. The rooms are not very large, but are tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is good and extensive. The only downside I can think of is that the cooking is quite traditional. I would welcome any innovation here.
All in all a hotel where we like to come every year!

A bit noisy due to the location. Rooms quite quaint. The young employee early in the morning was apparently still a little overwhelmed. But otherwise very warm and friendly atmosphere.
The rooms are in new German terms, 100% old school, furnishings from the 70s/80s. But nothing broken or stained, everything in super clean condition down to the last corner. The room is big enough to be able to move around in it. The price of 7 euros for breakfast is a joke. You get a large plate with different sausage, ham and cheese selection. They don't speak much English. But, this place is fabulous. They display such generosity and care for their guests. I will definitely be back!

Other than that, nothing bad to say. Good food, friendly staff, nice location for hiking and dogs don't have to stay outside!
We spent three nights in the hotel. The rooms are rustic, comfortable, well-kept and above all clean. The TV could perhaps give way to a more modern one, but the existing one also serves its purpose.
The breakfast was served at the table, the care by the owner was very warm and hospitable. You felt completely welcome. The value for money is absolutely right for the rooms.
As a vegetarian, I didn't...
Nice view in the back, cozy. The desserts are great, the other things in the menu are too plain, not really worth it.

We would like to come again! We stayed at the Forellenhof for one night. The service is very good, the rooms are very cozy and the breakfast was great - there was even oat milk. We were even allowed to choose the breakfast time. Perfect!
