Beautiful little hotel. Nice staff and great food, not the largest selection, but what there is is great. Scenic and quiet location with parking spaces at the house. For hiking and everyday forget great. We would come again in a heartbeat, if time permits.

The Landhotel Café Mortlau is located just outside Bad Steben on the edge of the forest. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet and the closeness to nature. There are many hiking trails. And sights if you like to travel by car. There is something for everyone at the Bad Steben thermal baths. After swimming we relax in the very nice sauna area Pure relaxation. We are here for the 6th time. 👍😊

An insider tip I actually didn't want to write a recession so that it wouldn't overflow. The food 4.5 stars. The room was always very clean and the mattress can also be rated as good. It is a journey back in time to the 80s but with charm. The boss on site is a very competent lady who shows a lot of love for the customers. I think the hotel is exceptionally good.

Only ate in the restsurant and did not spend the night. The staff was friendly, the beer was good and i suggest you choose somthing else than the hamburger.

This is our third time staying at this marvellous Villa. We stayed for 3 weeks this time, in a beautiful, clean & comfortable apartment. The garden & quiet location are amazing. Located directly at the spa park - so the sounds of the spa concert may also be audible. Otherwise, however, very quiet area (traffic-calmed). At the moment the hotel prices are a bit out of the norm, so not necessarily the cheapest room. Good breakfast buffet and good modern room facilities.

The hotel is quite good. The staff is kind and helpful. The only issue to consider is the hotel has no air conditioning. So when it is above 30 degrees, only vans can cool you down.

Yesterday we had our summer party (company) with Josha, Edi and his team. Great great great. Delicious food, full attention in service and a great location. Can only recommend. Every Thursday there is a barbecue evening and on Sunday there is lunch. Stop by, it's worth it 😊

The husband/wife management team were quite friendly and the service was excellent. And while we enjoyed this boutique hotel we found the price quite high for the amenities offered. We paid around $175 US a night, including taxes and fees. The room was fine but a fan in the room would have gone a long way to making us comfortable in the unexpected heatwave. Friendly family hotel nice airy rooms

Just stop over while driving for me, do not remember much. Parking nearby ok. Good food, nice restaurant, seemed to be eqqipped for kids with playing space, place offered more than I needed this time. Little town looked good for a walk.

The property was very clean. The breakfast was tasty and well presented. Even though the water in the room was not hot, I would reccomend this hotel to other solo travelers.

The stay was excellent and breakfast plentiful and enjoyable It is a short 20 minutes walk into town which is just as well because in the heat or rain it is all but impossible to order a taxi even though the hotel staff tried their best. The only criticism of the hotel is that although I did not want my sheets changed daily, I would have at least wanted the bed made each day.

We stayed a night here and it was very pleasant and clean and quite spacious as well for a small family. We liked how easy the self-check in was and that there were cooking amenities as well as a fridge. It was a quaint place in a quit area up a hill. Would stay here again for our next pit stop.

This was my second time there and this time I took my mother with me. We felt completely comfortable! The food was delicious, the treatments were all very beneficial and the staff was always very accommodating! We particularly enjoyed the sauna area and the outdoor swimming pool.
