They organized a disco session in the bar in the plaza under the hotel until midnight, this is crazy

The hotel is located right on the market square. The room is incredibly quiet, though. The view transports you back to the Middle Ages. The room is very spacious and clean. The bathroom is small but perfectly adequate. The staff isn't always on site, but can be reached by phone and are there immediately. They are very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was lovingly decorated and fresh. Warm egg dishes were freshly prepared to order. Unfortunately, the restaurant was still closed for renovations, but the menu and ambiance left a good impression. Unfortunately, we were there three days before it opened. We'll be back.

Had a nice, clean room with a view of the market square. The hotel is centrally located. Check-in with a PIN is possible at any time. A generous breakfast buffet. We'd be happy to return!

In my opinion... the location is perfect for exploring the city. Our room was spacious and modern. The hotel was impeccably clean. The staff was very courteous and helpful. AND the service was excellent. The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious. There was a sufficient selection of fresh products. ... very delicious! We would love to come back to Kulmbach and to the Hotel Weisses Ross!

Super centrally located, right on the market square. Perfectly renovated, modern rooms in a historic building. A fantastic dinner in the adjoining restaurant, the "Schwarzer Reiter," and a lovely breakfast the next morning. Upscale ambiance at moderate prices. It couldn't be better; we thoroughly enjoyed it. Parking in the nearby, almost empty parking garage was completely hassle-free.

Hotel. Everything newly renovated. Our double room (17) was very generous and spacious, as was the bathroom.
Finally decent flat screen TVs on the walls. (42").
Small corridors to the rooms (always three), then secured with a fire door.
You don't hear any night owls or early risers.
The only downer was the noise at night when the weekly market was set up at four o'clock on a Saturday morning.

- Bed (single bed) is on wheels! With every turn, the whole bed moves!
- No reception
- Single room with a balcony door onto a communal balcony that couldn't be tilted, so you couldn't open a window at night
- Room door is opened by code and has a handle on the inside, cannot be locked again
- Room door is also not tight: you can see a light gap from the hall light all night
- Something like an extraction system is constantly running outside, the noise level is high
Conclusion: I would not stay here again.

Good, very centrally located hotel with renovated rooms and good facilities. Overall rather cool and heating didn't work (were there in September). Breakfast buffet basic, but everything you need is there. Unfortunately, you can hear the people in the hallway and the marketplace (definitely bring earplugs!). Otherwise nice, would come again

At 3:30 a.m. it was not possible to access the hotel with the access code because the door was locked with a key. After several attempts to reach the designated emergency number, which can be reached at any time, someone answered the phone after more than an hour. Only the emergency contact was able to give us access to the hotel. Since we are not willing to pay for this night, we spoke to a person in charge named Mr. Vullo the next morning, who was initially hardly understanding and not very accommodating. He couldn't solve our problem on the spot. Only after we asked him to do so did he confirm that we would be able to process the request within a week.
After about 45 minutes we got a call from Mr Vullo to say that a full refund had been arranged and should be received within a week.
The refund has been made.
Apart from the incident, the hotel's location is very central. The room was nice and clean. The window faced the marketplace, which I personally liked.

We had booked two double rooms with a connecting door because of our children. Unfortunately, it was locked and the hotel had no employees on site. After several phone calls to the "emergency number" there was no solution, because the gentleman was "half an hour away from the hotel and couldn't bring us a key". It was only after my husband spoke to the Lord that we were helped after more than an hour.
But that was very nice! A large bottle of beer was given as an apology. Basically, the hotel is in a great location - in my opinion, quite cool and factually renovated and therefore a bit "empty". The rooms facing the market square had no (non-functioning) ventilation: with the window open, the hustle and bustle on the market could be heard very loudly in our rooms well after midnight.
