The hotel is a little bit old but the environment is very nice. A good place for rest.

I had a wonderful stay in Fritzlar, Germany. This hotel is a complete package: style, efficient service, comfortable rooms, multilingual front desk service, and the ability to handle big groups. For the high quality of service, I recommend this beautiful hotel.

The hotel and breakfast buffet are high-class old-school. The room itself does not hold up to the high standards: an old bathroom with a bathtub shower (defect and dirty at first). There are extra rooms for pets for €20 per night, but don't expect a bowl or a bed for your dog.

Variety of high quality food with plenty of fun activitites! The gym his fairly well equipped, but a bench press would be nice to have. Overall a great place to stay.

It was my first and best experience of staying in a hotel in Germany. At first, I didn't expect much. But the bedroom was very cozy, with everything it needed. All around very pleasant stay. Nice service with a free bus note. The room had a few old crumbs otherwise very clean. Nice that the bed is already made and an all around nice room. Food was nice too. It's fresh and still warm, the pancakes and pastries as an example. Personnel is probably biggest plus. So nice and always meeting with a smile and helpful.

The floor and the walls are made of marble. Makes a wonderful feeling of elegance.

The stay in this house was very nice and warm. I have known this house for years and am very pleasantly surprised at how much energy and courage the new owner has shown to this day and still has before. Dark & depressing room behind the dining area. (I wondered if the old kitchen block had been converted in to some rooms maybe?) WiFi worked 1 day out of 3 sadly. Google incorrectly shows free breakfast; there is free tea & coffee with biscuits. On the plus, free parking (for maybe 6 cars), central, fridge to store food in (as there is no catering on site).

I’m not familiar with the algorithm that determines whether a hotel deserves 5 stars or 4, but it’s clear to me that this hotel is not far from earning 5 stars. Friendly people, from reception, wellness and restaurant!

An excellent, classic Spa hotel, with perfect breakfast and very good service.

All in all, it was good. The comfort room was big enough, as was the bathroom. However, the room was not cleaned, only the bed was made. The buffet area in the breakfast room is far too small. Otherwise, everything was there and it was constantly being refilled.

The hotel is located quite centrally opposite a rehabilitation clinic. The rooms are well-equipped and clean, and the hotel is nice overall. The service is very good in advance. For example, a parking space was reserved that was well suited to wider vehicles. Very relaxing place to stay, within walking distance to Edersee Dam. Very welcoming and friendly.

Very clean room. Breakfast was good, nice employees! Only the pillow was too soft, but that is a personal opinion. But if you don't like soft pillow I advise to take your own pillow with you.

It was just what we needed after a very long hike. A good schnitzel, large beer, and that warm atmosphere only Germany seems to be able to provide. Rooms was very large and very clean, a very comfortable bed. We slept like babies. Breakfast was nice as well.

Friendly welcome, beautiful surroundings and clean rooms. Breakfast was good and varied, swimming pool a bit cold but nicely furnished. Unfortunately we couldn't open the window at night because there was no mosquito net.

Room was a good size, very clean and comfortable. The bed sheets and towels were very soft and luxurious. Very good breakfast, with lots of locally produced food. Earlier reviews mention no English - this has obviously changed, as all the staff we met spoke English, and many signs were in both English and German.

Nice themes in the rooms, but overall not as perfect as we expected. The breakfast was fine. A few meters from the hotel is some bar and people there are very loud at Fridays. Perfect location and typical german architecture.

This hotel is in a quiet location. Parking is free outside the hotel and in the car park next to it. The rooms are very large and exceptionally clean. Nice hotel. There a restaurant and a pub for food and drink. Free wifi and parking available. Nearby offers limited shopping options. There a park and foredt trails for running, which are worth.

For a 3 star hotel it really is on the upper level. The rooms are not brand new but all clean, so are the bathrooms. The beds are a bit squeaky but not uncomfortable. Breakfast is solid and offers all an average person might want. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. My four stars don't make it a 4 star hotel but a good 3 star hotel.

We liked it alot. The room was clean and spacious. Friendly and serviceminded staff.

The food was delicious. We were served by two women, the first one wasn't friendly and didn't feel like serving us. After a while we got another employee. We felt much more comfortable with her because she knew something about service and friendliness. The selection of dishes was sufficient.

Rooms are comfortable but the breakfast is quite minimalistic and the room amenities would need to be rethought (e.g. there's a nespresso coffee machine in the room but you have to pay a ridiculous 1.5 euro to use one capsule).

It is suitable for hiking. It is 4 kilometers away from the city, but the surrounding area is really beautiful. At the foot of the mountain, there is a small trail opposite that leads to the top of the mountain. It is very suitable for hiking.

The hotel is really beautiful, located in a resort area. The air has a high level of negative oxygen ions in the morning, which makes me feel better when I stay here!

We stayed in this hotel for 3 days and 2 nights and can only report positive things. The rooms are clean and spacious and you feel comfortable. The breakfast is a buffet and very sufficient. As a family, we had no complaints.

He helped us with every single thing and did not leave our side until we were all set up. He went back and forth to help us and also spoke excellent English which helped since we do not speak Dutch. Great hotel, with a very good breakfast and a nice restaurant, a spa and many options for sauna and hot pools. The only problem is regarding the shower, water pressure might swing rapidly turning the water temperature either super hot or super cold, i almost fell in the shower due to the water becoming burning hot.

We love this hotel. It’s the only place we will stay when we visit Bad Arolsen. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The staff is very accommodating, and the breakfast has lots of options. Excellent hotel! Smooth process at all levels. Plentiful buffet in the evening and in the morning. We had a great room, very clean, just the design of what is supposed to be a sink took a little getting used to. My recommendation: take advantage of the many offers and have a great time!

Decent hotel, we stayed in their biggest suite which was like $600+ a night. I did like the suite and the huge deck was nice too but the decor was a little questionable at times. I didn't really mind that though, my biggest issue was the service. The staff was often rude or straight up condescending, especially during check-in. While their breakfast options weren't bad I expected more for $600+ a night

The restaurant was closed for our stay. We were housed in what seems like the annex. There was no bar either. We had to get a taxi to eat. Convenient parking was plentiful. The service was not so good as reception proved to be a little unhelpful.

Although they are very friendly, and everything is clean, there is a lot of noise in the rooms and the heating is not enough. It needs some improvements in this regard. The price is good and it is in a good place to visit the city, take a train or just passing through.

Very nice hotel and staff. Excellent breakfast buffet. Nice room. Nearby both the railway station, Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe and Zoo am Rammelsberg. The only drawback is the traffic on the street outside, paved with cobblestone so every car makes a lot of noise. Nothing the hotel can do something about, and sleeping with the window shut may silence some of it.

This is a nice hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. The rooms do have a safe and refrigerated mini bar and to my surprise a bathtub. Breakfast includes everything from eggs, bacon, cheese, jogurt, fresh fruits and breads. There is a tram stop directly in front of the hotel making it very easy to travel around. Checking in and out is very easy and the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.
