Where to stay in Bad Wildungen

The hotel and breakfast buffet are high-class old-school. The room itself does not hold up to the high standards: an old bathroom with a bathtub shower (defect and dirty at first). There are extra rooms for pets for €20 per night, but don't expect a bowl or a bed for your dog.

Variety of high quality food with plenty of fun activitites! The gym his fairly well equipped, but a bench press would be nice to have. Overall a great place to stay.

It was my first and best experience of staying in a hotel in Germany. At first, I didn't expect much. But the bedroom was very cozy, with everything it needed. You don't have to bring all the supplies. Before you come, check what is ready here and reduce your heavy luggage. The facilities were clean and nice. The breakfast was very satisfying! All around very pleasant stay. Nice service with a free bus note. The room had a few old crumbs otherwise very clean. Nice that the bed is already made and an all around nice room. Food was nice too. It's fresh and still warm, the pancakes and pastries as an example. Personnel is probably biggest plus. So nice and always meeting with a smile and helpful.

This hotel is aged but still decent looking. They had not enough cleaning staff but I think that's a common problem at the moment and probably not their fault. The breakfast has great variety and is good quality. It also provides a little gym and a pool but the water is a bit too cold.

A gem! We get adjoining rooms for the family including our dog. Great set up. Good breakfast. Nice pool and sauna. Nice restaurants in walking distance. Trails around. So much to do within 30 minutes with family and dog. We’ve gone twice. We’ve been really happy with everything. It’s a great get away from Frankfurt with our dog for a night or two.

This hotel is amazing, I didn’t expect so much for the price (around €100 per night). Spacious room, reasonable breakfast and spa facilities included in the price. I stayed for a business trip but it felt a little bit like holidays too. Very Nice Room, very Comfortable very good facilities, and excellent meals with all the trimmings. Staff were very friendly and competent. All the decor was tasteful and My Wife and I liked the Sauna and pool areas very much.

Very nice hotel in the middle of everything in Bad Wildungen. Excellent service (Reception and Restaurant). Large breakfast buffet with wide range of options. The room looked a bit dated and it was not as it could. Happy to come back to this place!

Nice hotel. Due to renovation wars smelled a bit like paint. But at least maintained. Responded very well and politely to complaints. Therefore 4 well-deserved stars

The welcome was very warm! The hotel has been renovated inside and out! Everything is super clean! I had a single room (# 211) it was also very clean and the mattress was very comfortable! The stay in this house was very nice and warm. I have known this house for years and am very pleasantly surprised at how much energy and courage the new owner has shown to this day and still has before. A city like this can be proud to have such brave investors in our time. Hats off and I wish the young family all the best for the future!

A very personal and attentively managed small hotel in a beautiful old building. Unfortunately I was only here one night. Very nice reception by the owner. The room was attractive, very well maintained and extremely clean. Everything is really thought of. It's also great that fresh coffee is always available for guests in the breakfast room. Dark & depressing room behind the dining area. (I wondered if the old kitchen block had been converted in to some rooms maybe?) WiFi worked 1 day out of 3 sadly. Google incorrectly shows free breakfast; there is free tea & coffee with biscuits. On the plus, free parking (for maybe 6 cars), central, fridge to store food in (as there is no catering on site).

Very comfortable accommodation and an extensive breakfast and car parking. Excellent, quiet location with good restaurants close by. Wonderful scenery around the village and close to the beautiful Eder River valley and lakes.

We had a wonderful family stay for 5 days. The apartment is very stylish and familiar. Very clean and the breakfast just a dream. Since my husband has to come to the Werner wicker clinic for check every year, we will definitely become regular guests here. Superior Greek/German hospitality. Ideal place for daily excursions. The hotel is beautiful, located in a beautiful area.Cosy decorated and very clean! Amazing breakfast! Christos and Katrin were always available to help us for everything we needed. Highly recommended!

Very friendly and helpful landlord. He gave us a lot of great tips for our bike tours. We slept well. The breakfast buffet was lovingly set up and rich. The house and rooms are not super new, but they are clean and everything is in good condition. Value for money absolutely justified.
