The Good: Great central location within easy walking distance of all that central Bautzen has to offer. Parking Great breakfast Good sized rooms The bad: No air-conditioning Rooms only made up on demand so make sure that you put that hanger on your door each morning!

No A/C, the Internet is very slow 😥 was on a business trip in 30° and was sweating all the time at the hotel. But the breakfast was nice and the pancakes were very good 🙂 Hopefully, A/C will appear soon, the internet issue was in my room and my colleague's room, maybe it will improve.

Simply hotel as thousands other. No soul, but it is in the centre of the town and has parking. Personnel are really good.

Stayed during business trip. Parking lot behind the hotel was full. Parking lot 100 m away was not. Price was € 0.6 per 30 minutes. Don't be fooled by the outside. The inside is what matters. Nice rooms and equipment. Even though the hotel is next to busy road the night was very quiet. I must point out very nice and welcoming employees and a very good breakfast. Wir waren zum Brunch. Essen sehr lecker, gehoben, abwechslungsreich und gut anzusehen. Geschmacklich einen Besuch wert. Über die Räumlichkeiten kann ich allerdings keine Auskunft geben. Parken ist im Hinterhof problemlos möglich. Die Autos sind durch eine Schranke und ein Tor geschützt.

Good place for overnight stay during the trip. I recommend to visit old City center of Bautzen.

The location is very nice and calm. The beds aren't as comfortable for my liking, but for the nights I stayed there, they were definitely good. Just the WiFi didn't work as planned, but that's not much of a problem since I've been out a lot more than I stayed at the hotel. It's best to use the bus around Bautzen to go to the city and there's a bus stop 10 minutes away from the hotel.

Quiet location, short distances to the shopping center "market purchase" inexpensive room - 75 €, very rich and delicious food. To reach the city centre of Bautzen, you should be good to walk or take a Taxi to choose.

We were amazed by this magical place. The view from the window, the history of the house, the loving welcome, the charming furnishings and attention to detail were just a few of the numerous highlights. Also the delicious breakfast that left nothing to be desired and was offered in an enchanting ambience. We were completely thrilled and will definitely be back.

We stayed at the Urgestein room and we really liked the decoration and the shower. Additionally, a really good price for a 4-star hotel in Bautzen that we got directly from the hotel website, cheaper than in the hotel aggregators. There is an inner yard which unfortunately we could not enjoy but I bet it is really cool to enjoy in the warmer months. The staff was nice and attentive.

Beautiful, clean hotel. We had the London room and it was such awesome decor and spacious. The breakfast was a choice of cold cuts, fresh bread, pastries and boiled eggs. Very good!

Great, just great! :-) We "landed" here spontaneously and are absolutely thrilled. Great apartment, a very special facility, everything clean, brilliant view, super friendly and nice staff, delicious breakfast! What more do you want? The location is also perfect and the secret parking lot is just awesome. We'll definitely come back sometime.

We had an outstanding weekend at hotel Steiger in sebnitz. The staff was friendly and helpful, the spa was very clean an beautiful with lots of pretty details and a steamroom. The breakfast buffet was Plenty, with ordinary, various food like little omlettes and "Arme Ritter". We would stay at this hotel again for sure.

Very nice Hotel, the to-be-missed his claim to be a Small Grand hotel, however, clear. Of note is the new and very beautiful Spa. Otherwise, there is a lot of Kitsch and frills. The food is mediocre. For the offered prices are too high overall.

Good hotel, we spent only one night, but it was all clean and with comfortable beds. On the other side if you plan to pay for the breakfast there, the price it´s just way too high (15€), it´s better to find a local place to have breakfast.

The hotel is fine for three stars, no WiFi! Very expensive alcohol bar.... it has pretty big parking in front of the hotel even LKW may be parked there! Some apartments have balconies.

The Hotel is very modern and super. The location to the highway is not something too far away. The Service was also very nice. Only the room was not so nice and at the worst I use to be many black beetles. They were really everywhere. You could not, accordingly, also sleep really well because you also had in the night.

Beautiful town with great hiking routes. Castle is nice and well maintained, but is a functioning hotel and youth camp, so many areas are private. I imagine starting as a guest is quite an experience though.

Absolutely fantastic place. Magnificent hilltop citadel in the midst of a charming medieval village with beautiful distant mountain views. ReallyRecommended for a daytrip if you're visiting Dresden.

I was there with my son for a weekend last summer. The staff is super nice, very helpful (I am blind) and on request also tips on excursions, hiking trails and so on. The hotel is very clean and the food tastes delicious too. Even a massage we could treat ourselves on Sunday, which was very relaxing. We can only recommend this hotel and look forward to returning again.

I wanted to be a bit off the beaten track and what could be better than Saxon Switzerland. We arrived in the dark, searching for the room using a numeric code would be child's play. The best breakfast was a hit. Everything about eggs, cornflakes in different variations, fresh juice, very good coffee, fresh different rolls that really tasted. You have to get used to the road, otherwise really nice landlord...

Fantastic location with some great nearby lookouts. The rooms are fresh and really nicely appointed with a good little kitchenette and a balcony. We were very comfortable there. The terrace is a good place to lunch and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy and the food is good.

You get to have an amazing view of the entire region from here. It's a quite far from most of the attractions but the view is worth it.

It‘s a nice 45 min’s walk from Hohnstein to that restaurant. The view is breathtaking and it‘s therefore called the terrace of the saxon switzerland and that‘s a very good description of that beautiful place. The ‚Hafersäcke‘ - a rock formation that looks like several oat sacks is near by. The restaurant itself offers good food for hungry hikers and you can stay overnight. Reservation is recommended...

We had lunch with the family and were served very nicely and treated in a friendly manner! The fireplace makes it look nice and cozy and the restaurant is pretty quaint. It is beautiful and there is a great atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. They have a variety of dishes you can choose from and they taste amazing. The rooms are cozy and bright. They all have balconies.

Nice hotel in a perfect environment for a hiking vacation with a confortable stay (+sauna!). The staff was nice and accomodating.

We attended the Christmas night ballroom dance and had a lovely time. The ballroom is beautiful and has a really nice floor. The music was good. We discovered dance by chance and went because we were staying nearby. We will be going back next Christmas. Update we have been coming every year for the dance except during covid.

Very nice room with a renovated bathroom. Great location and the sauna is great after a long day of hiking taking one of many trails is the surrounding area. A comment for foreigners, the saunas are mixed and full nudity, which is common for Germany. The breakfast buffet was excellent however the restaurant only average, we ended up eating dinner at other close by places instead of at the hotel.

Went here for a conference ages ago. It was excellent: people are professional and very helpful. Rooms are good, too. It is nice and quute even though it is located next to the main tourist route to Bastei. Returned last weekend for a hiking tour. Had a coffee at this place and it has not changed. Everybody is very polite, pofessional and busily working to fulfill your needs.

Great Hotel, very clean and tidy. Good Breakfast, particularly popular are the egg salad and the honey. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi worked almost at all, in the present time (and in the already poor network in the Saxon Switzerland). Apart from that, I can recommend the Hotel without reservation.

Everyone was so incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially for a travel-weary family arriving very late. Although it was only a one-night stay, everything was wonderful. Staff went out of their way to help us.
