I had a few hours of events in there. The drinks where always filled up again and the snacks in the breaks where delightful.

Fine hotel. Services are very good, restaurant is excellent. I was with a group of 7 people, some of them complaint about the beds (too small and too soft).

Good experience at Arvena Kongress. 10 mins walking from city center, staff was very polite and helpful, room big enough. Just the wifi was a bit annoying, not working properly at times and having to type in keywords everytime you come back to your room. Shower with tents instead of box can be improved too.

Great place for the festival. Breakfast until 1 pm and transport to Festspielhaus. No idea what it's like outside of the season.

The overall service was good. Unfortunately I missed basic amenities and a constant flow of hot water in the shower.

A wonderful, historic, and remarkable hotel (and I go out of my way for great hotels around the world). Service impeccable and friendly; rooms and baths elegant and comfortable; restaurant, delicious local dishes in season with interesting local wine selection. We stayed four nights and had a wonderful time.

Nice hotel, with an antique atmosphere. Big bedroom with a big bathroom. Great location. The penthouse suite is amazing, also for a group workshop. The negative points: -Very bad WiFi and LTE coverage in my room (52). It is absurd to have such a bad coverage in a "first world" country. I could not even rate this hotel because of the coverage during my stay. Talking through Skype with my girlfriend...

Lovely hotel, huge rooms and extremely helpful and friendly staff. They all speak great English. Hotel has a very traditional style that extends to the receptionists costumes. Highly recommend staying here and it's location in the centre of Bayreuth can't be beaten.

The best Hotel in Bayreuth! Super delicious breakfast! Bratwurst and home made cakes at breakfast it's a must eat! Stayed 3 nights and I guess I put 2 kilo coz of breakfast! :D

Hotel was clean and modern. Rooms had cool air conditioning. The gym was sufficient and the breakfast was amazing. The in restaurant bar was inviting with a friendly and welcoming staff. The location in the city was perfect. It was right next to a mall and two blocks from the old town city center. The parking garage under the hotel made it convenient for parking when returning to the hotel from work

Good price, clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff and good breakfast. They are pet friendly as well and the location is great.

Super location. At best, it is a room (preferably the upper floors) Bay on the side of the road. Why?? Here, the air conditioning works better. Otherwise everything was perfect. Of this Breakfast I buffet dreams every week..... rave!!

Male reception attendant was unpleasant but the woman was great. Room was clean and spacious (for your Europe). Breakfast assortment was good. Only 3 stars from bad service on check in.

Great location about five minutes walk to old city center, also conveniently located near the final resting place of Franz Liszt and the Wagner extended family if that interests you. Modern spacious rooms. Friendly service. Unexpectedly fantastic breaktast, much better than some of the luxury hotels I stayed at in Germany. Highly recommend.

I just stayed here and appreciated the excellent customer service provided by the staff. The room was clean and modern, with all of the amenities you'd expect from an amazing hotel. We only stayed here one night, but I have nothing negative to say about the stay. It was a very nice experience! We even arrived a bit early before check in and they ended up having a room available for us so we checked in. I would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future. Wish we could have stayed a bit longer to experience more of the town.

Very nice hotel. Stayed two nights on a business trip. Rooms are spacious and modern in design. Bathroom are clean and the beds are comfortable. It appears to be a very quiet place, I slept with my windows open and had no noise from outside or from the hallway. The tv is rather small but have plenty of channels, mostly German though. Check in was great, staff was very polite and professional. Great value. Everything was spotless. Fridge had some extras available for purchase at a reasonable price. Walking distance from a wonderful old town (5 minutes). Bonus, a sauna was also included which was very relaxing and well done. Highly recommend.

Good stay at the hotel and overall a very nice weekend. Some minor improvements could be done, but overall I really liked the hotel. And I am actually a regular guest at the hotel.

As always, BB has hotels allover so it fits perfect with our overnight stays on our way south. Access code is both send on mail and shown in app if we arrive late.

Clean, well located, easy self-check-in during evening and night, large room, simple but good. We were af family of four and this room was perfect for a night or two, and the price very reasonable.

Good value for money. We spent just one night there and it was ok. Breakfast and facilities are good, the staff is not so nice. The location is good, in the city centre, and there is a parking nearby that has a discount for guests.

We felt very welcomed at the hotel with our two children (4 years and 10 months). The room was clean and quiet, and its bunk bed was the highlight for our 4-year old. The staff were very friendly, flexible, and accommodating.

I arrived and was shown to my room ... WOW ... awesome room! Huge, clean, well spaced. The Free breakfast is spot on! You must try the scrambled eggs. Ill recommend this hotel to all!

The other ratings are not quite fair, you cannot expect a Hilton when booking a room here. It is a lower cost option in Bayreuth, but they also offer a good transfer option to and from the opera house. It is a bit out of the city, but the bus stop is in front of the hotel. Good food for breakfast and friendly staff. Unfortunately, I'll give only 3stars because the deluxe suite that we had was suuuper cold and the sauna was not working properly (50° only inside).

The Hotel Bayerischer Hof was outstanding. The people that work there, the location and the room all were top shelf. The staff took very good care of me, as well as every other person I watched them deal with. They took great concern to meet all my requirements. Travel advice for in and around Bayreuth was perfect. I will definitely stay there again, and so should all travelers.

Nice, clean, friendly hotel staff. It's close to downtown, right next to the train station and breakfast buffet for €14 was delicious!

An experience to stay here. In the hotel there is so much to see. You find yourself in one great décor! The double room is big and clean and the staff is incredibly friendly!

A real cute hotel with attached restaurant; old but with charm. Staff is great; breakfast is outstanding. Must be family owned. Stayed three nights and likely will go back if I visit Wagner’s city again :)

Cosy place to stay. In summertime it is great to have breakfast on the terrace above the small river.

This is a nice quaint hotel. the rooms are small and a little too cozy but the charm aort of makea up for it. The wifi ia awful. Don't exect to be able to use it. Location is nice right near old city. The best thing about thia place though is the restaurant. The food is AMAZING!

Comfortable family run hotel. Reception staff could not have been more helpful and we were made to feel most welcome for our short stay. Standards of cleanliness and Covid safety measures could not be faulted. No elevator but not a problem for us because we were given a room on the 1st floor and reception staff insisted on carrying our cases up.

Good rooms and relativly quiet rooms. Furniture from the last century but functional. Furniture can be noisy... Good value. Very friendly staff and good breakfeast, visit the italian restaurant...

I fall in love to this hotel. Here you can find the most friendly staff, kitchen workers, old story and feel yourselves in home atmosphere. Staircases one of the most precious in this hotel, all noises from it returns you to old fantastic times.

For the second year At The Wagner Fest I stayed at the Hotel Goldener Hirsch just across the street from the Hauptbahnhof . To me it is the heart of Bayreuth. All the Guests know Wagner, as that is why we are all there. It just feels like home to me. Breakfasts are great and Tina runs the main restaurant where I eat everyday and return to after the Opera on Green Hill. I will return there again...

Pastries for breakfast were nice but the coffee - sorry, not good. But there is a nice coffee shop nearby, I wish hotel was using their beans :) Room are nice, modern and big ! We had a dog with us and there was even a nice bowl for him already placed in the room.

Great value for money. The hotel is new and modern. They even have a little breakfast buffet with baked goods, fruit, coffee and tee. The check-in is automated so even though we arrived later we got into the hotel by opening the doors with our phones. Gym is tiny, but perfectly enough.

I love this restaurant! Great food and a nice atmosphere. All the best of German tradition moved to the 21st century.

Nice place with cool set up. Its clear that a lot of thought went into the place. Food is american style but creative. Prices i consider a bit hight for what it is. Staff si very nice. Only negative comment here is that only 1 person takes orders. The rest just serve and clean. So if you miss the person taking the orders on her round (or she misses you) it can take a while until you can place an order

I have been here on other days, except on a Sunday which I shouldn't have. The cocktails were not good. We ordered mohitos which had excessive alcohol and zero sugar coupled a fella in service/waiter treating like he was doing a favour and completely nonchalant. 😎 great ambience though.

Excellent selection of draught beers to suit different tastes. Friendly, helpful staff. Super mix of burgers and steaks offered, grilled to near perfection. Only mini down side is that the food is a little pricey👍

Pretty comfortable rooms and great service though the rooms seem to be a bit old on the first view. But all in all a great hotel and a great price! The buffet at the included restaurant was also delicious!

The rooms are spartan but still comfortable. The staff us friendly and the breakfast is good. It can get quite loud sometimes because the hotel is situated at a traffic crossing and on one side there is a bar which closes late. Overall very good.

Great apartments with a small kitchenette, large bed, boiler, hair dryer, great shower. City center is ~20min by foot. Best for travellers doing business with local University
