Room was very outdated, pillows felt as if they had been there since the hotel opened its doors 30 odd years ago and didn’t offer any support, my head was on the mattress most of the night..

OK place, with friendly staff and good facilities. It is a bit basic. Rooms are a bit small and do not come with a fridge or tea & coffee facilities. They do not bring your luggage to your room. Breakfast is OK. As is the focus on the Festspiele. Location is OK, not in but close to the city centre.

Perfect city hotel in Bayreuth. Kind staff, clean and tidy rooms, quiet. Many restaurants and shops in walking distance. We were there for the Bayreuth Festival and we are happy to have chosen Hotel Rheingold.

This was an excellent stay at the Rheingold in Bayreuth. The hotel room was very clean and so was the bedding. The bathroom was clean and the towels were very clean as well. The restaurant served scrumptious meals. Their breakfast services was exceptionally good. The wifi was high speed and the staff, even though l spoke no German, was very kind and courteous. Highly recommend 👌

The Service is good and the performance is excellent! The rooms have an acceptable size. The bathroom is really nice and neat! The Breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired, and otherwise it is done! Thanks for the short but beautiful stay.

Super location. At best, it is a room (preferably the upper floors) Bay on the side of the road. Why?? Here, the air conditioning works better.
